28/05/2026: We spent three nights in this very well-located hotel, just steps from the sea and the city center. It was very clean, with excellent soundproofing between rooms. The management and staff were very friendly and attentive to their guests. The rooms are not air-conditioned, but you can request a fan. We would gladly return.

24/05/2026: It is our 4th time in La Baule, we love the region. :) The location is a plus. Unfortunately, the parking lot cannot accommodate 15 cars as I read in another review; we were lucky enough to be able to park for two days, for the remaining 5 we had to pay for street parking. We chose this hotel for the parking to ensure a safe stay. The villas are beautiful but unfortunately very poorly insulated (our previous hotels were also Art Deco buildings but better insulated); we could hear the neighbors switching the buttons on and off... A major downside for us was that there was no air conditioning... it was so hot at night. Positive: very friendly management, good location...

04/07/2026: A typical Parisian brasserie and tobacconist, located on Boulevard Brune, just steps from Porte d'Orléans. Enjoyable bistro fare, a varied menu, excellent ingredients, all at reasonable prices. A semi-covered terrace suitable for all seasons. Friendly and professional staff, both in the dining room and behind the bar.

09/06/2026: Most enjoyable lunch, duck confit superbly cooked with a gratin potato side followed by a delicious chocolate fondant, that I am sure is calorie free.....

15/07/2026: I discovered this restaurant this evening and I must say I was delighted with my dinner. Excellent vegetables, a tender and very high-quality sirloin steak cooked to perfection. The wine, a good Côtes du Rhône, was also enjoyable. It's a shame the restaurant wasn't busy; this place definitely deserves a visit.

08/06/2026: I have very bad memories of this establishment. In my experience, the management leaves much to be desired, and the prestigious image associated with it does not correspond to what I observed. My interactions with management were particularly unpleasant and left me with a very negative impression. I will not return, and I will not recommend this establishment.

06/07/2026: We stopped on July 3rd at 1 p.m. on our way to a charming little rustic restaurant called "Les Contes de Bruyères." The welcome was pleasant, and the staff were smiling. A meal cost €18 per person: a buffet starter, a meat pasta risotto, and dessert. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The restrooms were clean. We love unusual places. Free parking is available 50 meters away, opposite the town hall. I highly recommend it.

19/05/2026: Beautiful natural setting, very welcoming staff, the activities are great, with a special mention for the escape game. If I had to suggest one improvement, it would be to expand the snack bar a bit, both in terms of quality and variety.

09/07/2026: We often come to the casino to play the slot machines while sipping a cocktail, then head to the Lodge restaurant for dinner. We're never disappointed: a good selection on the menu, delicious dishes of high quality and generous portions. The music playlist is relaxing (not mind-numbing)...in short...long live the Hauteville casino and its team! 💫

15/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! This place is nestled among many trees, making it very peaceful. The owner is extremely kind, we ate very well, and the rooms are spotless. I highly recommend this establishment.

19/07/2026: The waitress was rude and disrespectful. The owner's son was even worse: he showed absolutely no respect for the customers. We were aggressively chased off the terrace, with insults hurled at us. An unacceptable experience. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment.

27/07/2026: Like every year (or almost), we made a quick stop at Pépé's. Sitting on the terrace, and despite the limited staff (as we'd been told when we booked), we were served with great care. For the first time, we had fondue (despite the high temperatures) on the terrace and we weren't disappointed. A very good mix of flavors, with a well-chosen salad and charcuterie (it is still melted cheese, so those on a diet should probably avoid it). Another lovely time, see you next year! ;)

21/07/2026: Excellent, generous portions served by very welcoming and friendly hostesses. We tried the burger, the pela, the revard, the chicken nuggets, and the duck breast. Both children and adults thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We highly recommend it.

13/06/2026: I took a short break to have a drink on the terrace. After a short wait, I went to find the waiter who was outside, and he told me he hadn't seen me. Someone at the next table was being criticized for their accent; the waiter was unfriendly!

17/01/2026: A very well-located hotel and restaurant in Limoux, with owners and their niece who take excellent care of their guests. That's worth its weight in gold.

18/11/2025: Lunch break today. The staff were friendly, pleasant, efficient, and easygoing. And the set menu far exceeded our expectations. It was really good. All at a price that can't be beat. We'll definitely be back to try the menu next time 😉 See you soon!
