26/07/2026: Very noisy place, even though it was on the first floor, so far from the sound system. The food was plentiful and very good, which was a plus. As for the staff, they weren't very friendly, a bit... lost, I'd say. And despite the cooler weather, it was too hot upstairs, which was a shame (even though there was air conditioning). I wouldn't recommend it, but I don't hate it either... it's fine for couples or young people, that's all.

25/07/2026: Long wait on a Saturday night, mediocre food, partially sluggish service, will satisfy a tourist who doesn't ask for more, and for a slightly more demanding palate, not the best choice.

03/07/2026: The owner is awful to his customers and his staff. It really doesn't make you want to give him any money. Business is a profession!

29/06/2026: Unfortunately, a disappointing experience despite an enticing menu. Once seated and our wine served, we were informed that half the menu was unavailable. Then, two pizzas (out of five dishes) arrived with incorrect ingredients. When we indicated that the experience was mediocre, we were practically dismissed without a word. A shame.

23/07/2026: Ultra-fast and efficient service with a smile. Jeanne's savory buckwheat crepe, with tomatoes, onions, and salad, was a little surprising (I was expecting fresh tomatoes) but good. The salted caramel crepe was a delight.

18/07/2026: Arriving with friends at 11:30 PM for drinks, we had a disastrous experience from start to finish. Not only were the cocktails disappointing, but just 10 minutes after being served, we were rudely informed that the bar was closing. We were then handed cups to pour our drinks into and left. What's the point of serving customers if you're just going to chase them away 10 minutes later, especially since your website states closing time is 2:00 AM? A serious overhaul of your approach to hospitality and customer service is clearly needed. Avoid this place.

08/06/2026: Hotel with a motorcycle garage. The gentleman at reception took it upon himself to find us a restaurant in town and make a reservation. The breakfast was very good.

07/06/2026: The rooms are okay, the shower has a curtain instead of a door, so water splashes out the side, so bring a shower mat. The beds are okay, a bit worn. There's a magnifying mirror in the bathroom. The hairdryer is built-in, the power is okay, but there's no cool setting. What's really great is the light—VERY bright!!! The food seems to be good; we had lasagna, parts of which were practically burnt or impossible to cut. The service is okay.

05/07/2026: A delightful moment! We were greeted with a warm smile. Sheltered on a spacious, verdant terrace, in the shade of magnificent linden trees, we savored the best steak tartare in the region. We discovered a truly original recipe that delighted our taste buds. To finish, a cherry clafoutis, just like my grandmother used to make, exceeded our expectations! The owner came to greet us and took the time to chat for a while at the end of our meal. This friendly atmosphere was truly appreciated! The quality-to-price ratio was also excellent! A big thank you for this delicious experience! Best wishes for continued success.

24/06/2026: This restaurant is a real treat, serving traditional dishes like the ones we love: pâté en croûte, foie gras, andouillettes… etc. You can go there without hesitation; pure bliss!

26/06/2026: A pleasant inn to stop for a drink or a good traditional pizza; the staff is very friendly.

24/05/2026: If you're passing through Sournia, don't hesitate to stop at the Auberge de Sournia. A very warm welcome, panoramic terrace, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. A superb experience!

01/07/2026: We sat down, we ordered some drinks, the waitress started to set the table and we said 'no we only want drinks', she went away. We waited and waited, people were being served around us, no drinks arrived so we got up and left. They obviously only wanted people who were eating, if they told us this to start it wouldn't have been a problem for us, we would have gone elsewhere, which we did and had drinks no problem. Not recommend at all, there are lots of good restaurants / bars use them.

01/07/2026: Nice restaurant, generous portions, fair value for money, pleasant terrace, decent service but a little training for the young waiter would have been welcome.

27/06/2026: Excellent experience! The servers are dynamic and efficient (you should see how they handled the sudden storm), the food is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming (you have to eat there to experience it!).

22/07/2026: Avoid at all costs! Prices are even higher than in Monaco, without any justification for the quality of service!

19/07/2026: Chef is exacting with ingredients and execution, yet incredibly warm with customers, even though we don't share a language. I recommend the club downstairs for private events and the terraces are lovely for dinner. This is a fairly expensive place but it's definitely worth it for the discerning. Everything from starters to cafe gourmand was at an extremely high level, without the pretense that usually accompanies such skill. Veal was a standout, kobe as well. Mushrooms were delicate and creamy yet light. The cafe I mentioned came with perfect berries and chocolate ganache, and the crepe Suzette was incredible, I don't want another dessert again. Chef infused it with such orange intensity I couldn't believe it. For the way I like to travel, this place is ideal.

16/10/2025: Everything was perfect: the location was perfect and the mussels and fries were excellent. We highly recommend it.

10/06/2026: We came for one night and ended up staying three. The entire team gave us a very warm welcome. We also enjoyed the meals and breakfasts, which were very well served and generous. Our only regret was having to leave. But we will be back. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful stay.
