02/10/2025: And there you have it! It's over! Permanent closure! After nearly 40 years, this store, which I had the honor of managing from 2002 to 2023, will not have survived these last 2 years; and disastrous management and incompetence of the management following the acquisition of the Ducs De Gascogne in July 2023 by the company Quaterras, formerly French Food Gourmet: a textbook case when apprentice financiers want to buy and sink one of the jewels of French gastronomy: shame and disgust.

17/01/2026: None, I've been waiting for my food for an hour and a half.

07/01/2026: Dine-in on New Year's Day... The meat was lukewarm, they forgot the vegetables (couscous), so the meat was cold, then they sent back lukewarm meat... They also forgot the drinks. What a shame. Lost customer.

26/12/2025: I'm absolutely delighted with this lemon Yule log. Its flavor is exquisite, the texture perfectly moist, and the flavors are beautifully balanced. It looks stunning on my Christmas table! What's more, the saleswoman is incredibly charming, despite the Christmas rush. I'm going to try other flavors, but I already highly recommend the lemon version, and this lovely shop with its wide selection!

04/12/2024: I highly recommend the place. The welcome and service are top notch.. Here kindness and professionalism await you for a most pleasant welcome and moment. I went there for a couple's anniversary and I asked for some attention for my wife on this occasion (an "I love you" on the dessert plate), I was responded favorably and the attention was all the more beautiful. The waitress was really smiling and pleasant like all the staff. We will return with pleasure to this magical place.

19/11/2024: Meals with colleagues. 13 people. The daily menu is imposed on us. We are not asked if we will have starter + main course + dessert and are surprised that no one will have dessert... At 1:20 p.m. still no main course (arrival at 12:15 p.m.). For my part, I was offered a vegetarian dish to replace the veal blanquette. Everyone is served except me. I was visibly forgotten (since someone handed me a blanquette). In the end, instead of having the VG dish on the menu... I was served tagliatelle in water with 3 leaves of spinach leaves and a pot of parmesan... I won't come back...

19/10/2025: Excellent campsite, I don't understand the negative reviews. Friendly, responsive, and competent staff. Clean mobile home in a great location. We had a wonderful vacation.

07/02/2026: We had a lovely time at this hotel. The ski rental is attached to the hotel so renting and storing was so simple!!! The buses come right in front of the hotel for easy access to the slopes. The rooms were nice and the breakfast was amazing!!! We also took advantage of the spa!

31/12/2025: This is a historic restaurant in our family, where we've been taking our elders for decades. For this Christmas lunch, instead of a skewer of prawns and scallops, we had shrimp and clams. The hour-long wait between the starter and the main course required us to ask for it again. The rest of the meal was of good quality.

05/10/2025: If the kitchen looks like a toilet, imagine what you'll have on your plate!!!!! It's a very dirty place, and what it offers is just as dirty. This restaurant is definitely not recommended.

10/02/2026: ✨ A real gem! ✨ The staff is incredibly attentive, smiling, and very welcoming. We chose the €22 set menu with a buffet of starters, main course, and dessert, and we were impressed by the selection and quality. The icing on the cake: on our way out, our son even received chocolates. Achille thanks you! It's a shame you're not closer to home; otherwise, we would already be regulars. Thank you for the warm welcome and this delightful experience. We will be back with immense pleasure! 🍽️💛

08/02/2026: A very good restaurant for a stopover on our way back from our holiday. We were very warmly welcomed there with our two babies.

11/09/2025: Fast service in the shade of the plane trees, excellent and generous plates of jols served with a smile. Thank you and maybe see you another time.

26/08/2025: Very shocked by the way the managers addressed one of their employees: in 2025, incessant mockery to which the employee in question did not seem to consent, and we are still at the "Ngolo dans la casa" towards this same employee of color... I will not set foot there again.

12/02/2026: The worst restaurant in Saint-Gaudens!! Frozen food at exorbitant prices, mediocre quality... an inedible flank steak, and deplorable service. I don't even understand how it attracts customers, and the reviews are completely false!! Shameful, and we'll never go back. Complaint also sent. Because for an establishment like this, you expect the bare minimum... that friendliness is optional, and that good food should be a given!! But oh well, not for you... what a shame.

11/02/2026: No tissues in the room. The hot water is scalding hot and then only lukewarm. No heating in the bathroom. A bit noisy at times when people are in the hallways. Noisy upstairs when someone walks by; it creaks. The bed is comfortable. The parking is convenient, but it's a shame it's not free.
