28/09/2026: As a seasoned coffee lover, I confidently went to this establishment. I asked for advice and a grind for my moka pot. They recommended a Honduran, which I bought. I was looking forward to trying it once I got home, and in fact, I had invited some friends over for a tasting. We tasted it, and I was very disappointed. Everyone present, whether coffee lovers or not (there were six of us), reached the same conclusion: the coffee was so bitter that it was impossible to distinguish anything. I'm not into the "new wave" of coffee; I prefer structured coffees, with body and beautiful aromatic profiles. And here, the disappointment was complete because all I found was burnt coffee. Not roasted, no: burnt, and therefore ruined. And the grind was coarse and very uneven. Worse than supermarket coffee… What a disappointment… €15 for 250 grams of burnt and bitter coffee, what a failure.

28/09/2026: Hello, you seem very upset by my friend's review of the Honduras decaf. You could have spared yourself this lengthy post; everyone is free to express their personal opinion, and I share her feelings. We've been making coffee with a moka pot for a long time, and quite frankly, this decaf isn't up to par. We've tasted many excellent ones, and they're all prepared in exactly the same way. The decafs we usually buy are washed; perhaps yours undergoes some kind of chemical treatment, I don't know. In any case, it has no flavor and is bitter. It's a personal disappointment (understandable), but to discredit consumers' opinions simply because you've been around for a long time and have knowledge and skills (which we don't doubt) is rather pathetic. It's like saying your customers' feelings don't matter because "you know your stuff."

11/10/2026: A must-visit! The waitress was lovely, the coffee was excellent, and the pastries were amazing. I highly recommend it. I would definitely go back.

10/10/2026: Plenty of vegetarian options in the savory section 👍, a wide selection of savory dishes, and gorgeous, delicious cakes. The bill was also quite hefty.

07/10/2026: Fantastic! We booked this restaurant for our wedding reception and we weren't disappointed! The decorations were beautifully set up, the welcome was wonderful, the waiter was incredibly kind and kept us laughing throughout the meal. Not to mention the delicious food, which all the guests loved! I highly recommend it :)

04/10/2026: The young staff are very friendly. The terrace is spacious and pleasant. The food is good and plentiful. The prices are reasonable; the €37 set menu is excellent. We will gladly return.

06/09/2026: A really nice place. Squash and padel with a very pleasant restaurant. Superb terrace with a great team and menu. I recommend it.

04/09/2026: Playing squash occasionally is a great pastime and a useful way to let off steam... But when you're given a damaged court—with unsightly ledges, gaps in the boards, and a floor full of holes— (Note that other courts were available.) Playing becomes unpleasant. If the reception staff's bad faith doesn't lead to any compensation or offer you another court... It's hard to accept. And when, on top of that, your membership has just expired and the two lessons on your pass aren't refunded, without even a gesture of goodwill... It's a shame I live so close (5 minutes away) because I could have become a regular customer. The relaxation aspect loses all its value, turning the pastime into a source of frustration and indignation. The administrative policy is appalling.

04/08/2026: The restaurant no longer exists. Not only was it closed, but the building was also demolished and the street where it once stood was transformed for construction of a new housing complex.

22/08/2026: Fantastic crêperie! The galettes are delicious. The gentleman, presumably the owner, is lovely and makes perfect flambéed crêpes. The young blonde waitress is also lovely and very pleasant. We'll definitely be back!

Overall, hello, 2 half-slices, presentation €0.70 worth of pâté for asking for 1 slice. Goodbye. Otherwise, nothing to say, clean store, friendly staff, pleasant shelf stockers. Not forgetting the weighers, responsive and pleasant. And the welcome is always pleasant. Drawback: the cashiers who don't respect your products in order to go faster. Except for a few cashiers. Thank you.

22/09/2026: The brunette waitress with blue eyes is helpful, no complaints there, but the food leaves much to be desired… The blonde, who I assume is the owner, is incredibly unprofessional. She even told me on several occasions that she gave away a piece of meat that wasn't cooking properly, and that her dog ate it just fine… I doubt that's what you'd expect from a decent establishment. It's not what it used to be.

19/09/2026: Nothing to complain about. The price/quality ratio is good, whether you choose a set menu or individual dishes. Best of luck to the friendly team, who are very attentive to their customers.

18/08/2026: During a motorcycle trip, we stopped there for ice cream. The place is very pretty, near a waterfall, and the owners are very welcoming. We had a lovely time.

30/07/2026: Good ice cream, but we got ripped off by €10. It was €35 instead of €25, and at Yver it's around €28. Three people with three scoops of ice cream here costs €35, and three people with four scoops at Yver costs €28. Go to Yver, it's amazing! 🫠🫠

16/10/2026: It's a shame we can't give more stars. My husband and I have been coming here for nine years, and we're always greeted with a smile and kind words, and the food is always excellent! I wouldn't eat anywhere else for the world!

01/10/2026: Another great experience at Royal Café! We had lunch there with a friend today. The service was impeccable, and we enjoyed a very generous portion for a very reasonable price. The servers always give us a warm welcome, and we'll definitely be back soon.
