The tian ordered as a starter turned out to be a very basic vegetable omelet, the fish fillet was bland with a texture reminiscent of defrosted fish, and finally the dessert—a pear served in a simple bowl—looked as if it had come straight from a can. An experience not to be repeated.

25/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS... I'm finding it hard to get excited about this place I recently visited. The sheer maximization of space results in rows of crammed tables that will remind you of your school cafeteria days. Rustic wooden tables clash with the supposedly refined atmosphere of the place. The portions are tiny, at least for the steak tartare and the fries, which are frozen, of course, matchstick-thin, and overcooked. No homemade sauces in this supposedly upscale establishment, just those good old Heinz bottles of ketchup and mayonnaise (mine was empty). The next day, the steak tartare caused intestinal problems for one of the diners (you guessed it...). Since it was his only meal of the day, there's no room for doubt. Was the salmon and avocado tartare fresh? Not really; it had probably overheated in the kitchen. I wouldn't recommend the wines marketed under the name Cuvée Gisèle: their price is very reasonable, their quality very modest. But it's very crowded. Mostly tourists who are there more to take selfies in front of supposed onion soup (so French...) than for the pleasures of wine tasting. In fact, it's clear that all the 4 or 5-star reviews are from tourists. A thought for Gisèle, the owner's grandmother, who probably has no idea of ​​the fake gastronomy associated with her name. In any case, it's not worth the trip or the price... Many other reviews confirm this!

23/07/2026: Terrible place. We ordered two glasses of champagne, which wasn't cold and maybe not even champagne. They didn't bring us anything to eat.

27/07/2026: A charming spot right in the heart of Auch. We enjoyed a delicious three-course meal at a very reasonable price. The service remained very friendly despite the crowds. If you're ever in Auch, don't hesitate to stop by.

12/05/2026: I have been to a lot of bakeries in France. This is one of the best. Living in Val, I have been here 100 times. Everything is just better. More artfully done, better tasting, fresher.

30/06/2026: I stopped at this rest area for McDonald's, and to my surprise, it was closed at 10:15 PM. Honestly, it's ridiculous! What's the point of being at a motorway rest area if it's going to close so early? Otherwise, the rest area itself was nice; the gentleman who served us was very friendly.

23/06/2026: As a hot chocolate lover, Paul stores are my favorite. Their hot chocolate is smooth and flavorful, even a little too chocolatey. It's best to ask them to add a little milk because otherwise it's like drinking melted chocolate 😋

29/05/2026: We came for Sunday brunch with four children because of the "kid-friendly" aspect. To give credit where credit is due: it's quite good, with a dedicated room in the basement and a waiter/entertainer who plays pétanque with them, culminating in a little show. They loved it. However, and this is also why we come, charging €28 per person for a few very mediocre "tapas" mini-plates to share, plus a juice (fresh, okay) and a hot drink, is ridiculous. And don't even get me started on the children's menu… We were extremely disappointed. Making a profit is normal, but this is taking people for fools. So, for kids, yes; for the food, NO!!

19/06/2026: ​A fantastic choice for seafood lovers! The fish and shellfish are prepared to absolute perfection. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, and even when it's fully booked, it remains quiet enough for private conversation. The chef and the pastry chef with their team perform at an incredible level behind the scenes, while the sommelière and the service personnel deliver their perfect performance in the restaurant. It was a truly memorable dining experience.

28/06/2026: You restaurant owners generally don't make a good impression on solo diners. There's one principle you don't seem to grasp: a solitary person doesn't want to be seated next to another solitary person, because it creates an awkward tête-à-tête that's not what you came for. So the other day, you seated me at a table, and immediately afterward you put another solitary person next to me. As a result, I gave up my dessert so I could get out of there quickly. Why don't you understand such basic principles? You don't seat people alone together, side by side. You mix groups and solo diners, or at least keep some distance between them. It's a shame, I work in the neighborhood and I'm looking for a table so I can have lunch from time to time. I'll try again another time, and if it happens again, well, too bad, I'll go somewhere else. Sincerely.
