23/07/2026: Disappointing. Service was at 12:30 PM and half the dishes were no longer available. The fish and chips were truly mediocre, with fries cooked in the same oil as the fish, so they tasted fishy. The quality leaves much to be desired. What a shame!

The only slight drawback is that the portions are quite small.

27/06/2026: This is the smallest scoop of ice cream I've ever paid for at an ice cream parlor. I think they used a teaspoon to scoop it out. I finished it in three bites. When I mentioned how small it was, I I was told that's the size served.
Save your money and avoid this place 💰

17/03/2026: A bistro with authentic charm, offering a small menu that changes daily, a testament to its quality.
The starter, the baked egg with chorizo, was delicious, truly. The dessert, pear crumble, was surprising and refreshing. I was a little disappointed by the duck breast, which wasn't juicy enough.
I highly recommend it and we'll be back! Undoubtedly one of, if not the best, bistros in Saint-Mandé, in addition to a superb setting and excellent service.

03/05/2026: Out of curiosity, I returned to Xav's after many years and was delighted to see this establishment again, which has retained its authentic charm. The pizza had a thin crust but was surprisingly generous, and the dessert was very generous: two scoops of ice cream and whipped cream served in a seashell.
15/04/2026: The chef-owner is friendly, and so is the young waitress. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, like being in the countryside, which is exactly what we love when we're traveling. The prices are very reasonable, with, for example, a very generous portion of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream and chestnut cream, perfect for sharing between two people.

22/05/2026: As an American visiting Paris, the sales people were extremely pleasant and helpful! I had such a great time trying so many different cheeses. I ended up taking a few home to the United States. We'll back to visit in the summer!
19/05/2026: One of my favorite cheese shops! My grandchildren and I love to treat ourselves there. In addition to their delicious products, I was surprised to discover this magazine featuring them (I immediately added it to my cart for my next order!). I can't wait to read it and find out what they're up to behind the scenes. Don't change a thing, you already delight us, and you continue to surprise us!

22/07/2026: A pleasant surprise for my husband and me. Dogs were kindly accepted. The vegetable plate was excellent for a vegetarian like me; beautifully presented with a variety of delicious vegetables. The kebab was perfectly cooked and served with a wine and shallot butter. We highly recommend this restaurant.

The portions are generous and the quality is superb.
The welcome is warm and the staff is fantastic.
We have absolutely no complaints about the meal; everything was perfect.
I highly recommend it.
