05/09/2026: People come back to this establishment again and again for the food, the warm welcome, and the exceptional setting. The rooms are simple but the bedding is comfortable. Aurélia, her team, and the other guests make you feel more like you're staying with friends than in a hotel. It's a place like this, and there aren't many left, provided you're open to this less Instagrammable style of tourism.

01/09/2026: A very generous portion, an excellent sauce, and a generous aperitif. What more could you ask for?! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, thank you for the warm welcome and excellent service. We will definitely be back!

24/09/2026: Authentic regional cuisine with a local touch. Friendly service, a lovely terrace, and very reasonably priced.

15/09/2026: We came in for a simple coffee at the end of our shift, and instead of feeling any kind of weariness, we were treated exceptionally well! The waitress was incredibly attentive. A coffee isn't much, but it's the kind of service I wanted to highlight here.

People come here for a drink, lunch, dinner, or simply to soak up the ambiance, and they often leave wanting to return. The welcome is pleasant, the service attentive, and the atmosphere particularly friendly. It's exactly what you expect from a true neighborhood brasserie: a lively, accessible, and authentic place that fully participates in local life. An address I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone passing through the area.

23/09/2026: Nice little bar. We stopped here on our way to Andorra and had the local specialty, Picon. There's a toilet and outdoor seating, both covered and in the sun. It's located just inside the town gate on the left. French speakers receive better service.

14/09/2026: The food was really good. Nothing super exciting, but for sure nice! People working there REALLY nice. It had a good atmosphere, a bit too nice for my taste, but not intimidating.

12/09/2026: We waited 25 minutes on the empty terrace, without anyone asking us what we wanted. The waiters were chatting inside. We left.

29/12/2025: Establishment closed with no information on Google. We tried to book directly through messaging, but it was the neighboring establishments that informed us of the closure.

01/04/2026: The meal wasn't great, the pasta wasn't great, the meat was practically nonexistent... Overall, mediocre.

19/03/2026: Very generous portions and reasonable prices. Incredible quality/quantity/price ratio. A minor drawback was that the main courses arrived less than two minutes after our appetizer platter, but it wasn't a big deal.

06/09/2026: Passing through Dol, we had lunch at the bar-restaurant in the town center. The welcome, the staff (despite being understaffed), the food; everything was perfect! We highly recommend it.

20/08/2026: A place you'll return to whenever you feel a little peckish. Two nights in a row at this restaurant, where the service was impeccable and the food was good, excellent quality, and very fast. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be back.

03/10/2026: A very large supermarket with a matching selection. Pleasant staff.

02/10/2026: My favorite store, where we usually shop, unfortunately disappointed us greatly this time. After waiting about 10 minutes at the checkout, just as we were about to put our items in the till, the cashier took it upon herself to close her register without any explanation or apology. A gentleman and I then had to go to another register. It was register number 13, with a blonde woman wearing glasses. I find this behavior truly disappointing, especially after waiting so long. A simple apology or explanation would have been appreciated.

17/09/2026: Very disappointed with the service. The restaurant is expensive, and one expects impeccable service. The welcome was subpar. Even when making a reservation, I had to write it down on a piece of paper because the person who was there clearly wasn't part of the staff. Regarding the bouillabaisse, some people were served soup multiple times, and my fish was cold. The service is clearly not the same for regulars as it is for tourists.

16/09/2026: What a disgrace! We all got sick, the food was disgusting. It's very expensive for food poisoning. Honestly, avoid this place at all costs; it's not worth the trip.

29/09/2026: 5 waiters, over an hour and a half to get served our starter. We were the first bunch of customers to be seated. Ordered Tuna x 2.Drinks came in spasms. Never asked if wanted more drinks or dessert at the end. Got told they'd run out of Tuna, sword fish, the Boeuf dish, ended up with steak. And a more expensive meal. Food was ok. Very poor service. Such a shame as so many others looked happy enough. Including the couple next to us that arrived 30mins after us and left after eating a 3 course meal before we had started. And yes I got up and asked the waiters twice, politely if our food was coming. It was like we we're wearing invisibility cloaks. Quite amazing

23/09/2026: Visiting Île de Ré, as we do every September, we once again appreciated the warm welcome and kindness of the team at Bistrot du Marin in Saint Martin, as well as their delicious food and fresh ingredients. We promise, we'll be back. Dominique 64

11/10/2026: Very good little inn, the mountain menu at 23 Euros is perfect, very hearty and delicious.

10/10/2026: Simple and efficient. We ate very good frogs' legs. The dining room was a bit dreary and poorly lit.

Special mention to Charlotte from the St. Germain bar, whose kindness and professionalism were truly exceptional. I would also like to thank the security guard, Lotfi, whom I believe I met in the corridor next to the St. Germain bar; his information about the hotel was invaluable and his availability was truly appreciated. They both made our experience memorable. And finally, congratulations on the pure moment of bliss I was able to experience through the Mandarin Oriental tea… a marvel!
