27/10/2026: Super chic restaurant, lovely menu, gorgeous vintage decor, fast and friendly service... and absolutely delicious food! I have nothing to add except to recommend the royal sauerkraut for three people. It's very generous; we didn't finish it at all. Luckily, the waitress asked if we wanted to take the leftovers home. Thank you again for this wonderful meal.

24/10/2026: We were served by a young man who spoke good English. The atmosphere is very nice; reservations are necessary. It's a lovely, tavern-like place. We had a rather tasty onion soup, though it wasn't piping hot enough, and a quiche Lorraine with salad, which was delicious. They provide a bottle of water on the table, which is a nice touch. We paid about 55 euros for the meal, a small glass of wine, a drink, and a tip.

24/10/2026: A truly wonderful place in Tonnerre! Le Petit Gourmet is a warm and welcoming restaurant, a place you'll enjoy coming back to again and again. A friendly welcome and a lovely atmosphere. This is a place that deserves to be known and supported. Well done to the whole team and thank you for these wonderful moments!

24/10/2026: A beautiful establishment with a view of Lake Geneva. A very warm welcome and a very helpful and friendly waiter. The menu is excellent. I personally had veal kidneys with old-fashioned mustard and rice – delicious, and to top it all off, served hot. For dessert, a crème brûlée – also very good. One small drawback – it's a shame it was served cold and not at least lukewarm, but that's a minor detail. I will definitely return.

27/08/2026: We stopped here after visiting Thonon market, attracted by the lovely location overlooking the lake. We were a family of four, including my 81-year-old mother, and simply wanted to sit down and have a drink. On arrival, a waitress asked my husband if we had a reservation. He said no and she showed us to a table. Another young waitress took our drinks order and was absolutely lovely, patiently helping us with our limited French and speaking some English. After our drinks arrived, the first waitress returned to take our food order. We explained that we only wanted drinks and immediately realised from her response that there had been a misunderstanding and the table was intended for people eating. We apologised sincerely and repeatedly and said that we would order cake/dessert as well. Unfortunately, the waitress's reaction made us feel extremely unwelcome. There was eye-rolling, huffing, abrupt handling of the menus and muttering in French that we couldn't understand. Even after we apologised and offered to order some dessers, her attitude continued. Eventually I said to my family that we should leave because I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed. We left most of our drinks unfinished on the table and I went inside and paid for them in full. I completely understand a restaurant having a policy that its tables are for people eating. That isn't my criticism. There had simply been a misunderstanding, possibly made more difficult by our poor French. We recognised it, apologised and tried to put it right. What I don't understand is why an innocent mistake needed to be treated with such obvious irritation. We were a quiet family on holiday, not being rude or difficult, and there was absolutely no need to make us feel so unwelcome. It's particularly disappointing because the location is beautiful and the other young waitress who served us was delightful. Sadly, we left feeling embarrassed and unwelcome rather than having enjoyed what should have been a lovely drink overlooking Lake Geneva. Nous avions simplement mal compris la situation. Nous nous sommes sincèrement excusés et avons essayé de réparer notre erreur. Nous sommes vraiment désolés de ce malentendu.

13/08/2026: Food was ok but nothing special. The service was kind but a little bit too slow. The view to Mont Blanc from the terrace is fantastic.

06/08/2026: The service was lovely and very attentive, the food was excellent and beautifully presented... and what can I say about the view! Kudos to this sheepfold for not taking the easy route and serving mediocre food compensated for by the exceptional location.

26/09/2026: This bar is the only one open all year round, including Sundays.

23/09/2026: The bar at the palace is located right in the city center of Le Puy-en-Velay, overlooking a beautiful square with a statue and fountain. I highly recommend this little spot for relaxation! 😁🌞

03/10/2026: We had lunch at Le Petit Commines and it's always a delight for the taste buds. The welcome is warm and the setting pleasant. The wine recommendations are excellent. The dishes have flavors you won't find anywhere else and the desserts are exquisite. Thank you for this enjoyable experience.

27/09/2026: The waiter was incredibly unpleasant from the moment we entered the restaurant. We booked a set menu on the website, and were told we were only entitled to a selection of pre-defined dishes. I pointed out that it was a shame this wasn't stated on the website. The waiter told us it was written there, spoke down to us, and insisted on showing us on his phone, claiming he knew what he was talking about "having written it two days ago." When he realized this wasn't the case, instead of apologizing, he retorted, "I was checking in front of you to prove you right." We preferred to leave rather than stay and have a bad evening. It's important to understand that when a restaurant calls itself "bistronomic" and charges relatively high prices, we also have the right to expect impeccable service. And that was clearly not the case here.

26/10/2026: Friday, October 24th's meal was not great. The rillettes were a bit unusual, and the dish with mogette beans, sausage, double bacon, and duck leg was really just average—a large portion. There was no tablecloth or placemat on the wooden table (is this something that's becoming more common these days?). Dessert was okay, but the atmosphere was very average. The songs were La Mère Michele and Chevaliers de la Table Ronde, which were really awful! Too expensive; I wouldn't recommend it.

27/08/2026: During our family visit to Puy du Fou, we were very disappointed with the food and service. Due to heavy rain, we had to wait outside for 45 minutes before the restaurant opened, and they refused to give us shelter any sooner. We left soaked, the meal was mediocre, and the show offered during dinner was completely uninteresting. As a result, the children are sick today. While we wholeheartedly recommend the park's spectacular shows, we strongly advise against this restaurant.

29/10/2026: The food is incredible. Big Boss cooked really well. Our waiter, Riza, is the absolute best; he was very friendly and open. Together with him, we had a fantastic night. This is definitely highly recommended if you come with your buddies.

23/10/2026: Yesterday I had fish and chips with a Coke (it cost me €14) with some colleagues from my training course; it was delicious. The sauce was excellent, and the ratatouille was really good. The service was provided by young, professional staff, and the place was clean. I recommend it.

11/10/2026: Thankfully, the chef's cuisine remains a delight. I had reserved a table for two for my mother and myself. In the reservation, I clearly stated that the occasion was to celebrate my mother's 57th birthday and that she has a severe allergy to celery and strawberries. Do you think even the slightest consideration was shown to her? What a disappointment to learn that there wasn't. A simple greeting before we sat down, no "Happy Birthday" (not even a subtle one), not even a candle on the dessert at the end. Nothing. Even worse, in my extreme distrust, I had to inform the waiters of my mother's allergies (which could be fatal) because they simply didn't seem to be aware of them. I did, however, see my name at the very top of the reservations page in the guestbook at the entrance, with "birthday" added... It's good that you wrote it down; I hope you didn't miss it... So, we left with fond memories of the appetizer, main course, and dessert, but as for the service... it was nonexistent. No one on staff asked if we needed anything else (which is a shame for your own rating), no one to refill our glasses, and certainly no one to clear our crumbs, as is customary in this type of establishment, which, after all, boasts a certain number of stars. If the restaurant had been full, we might have been more forgiving, but no, there were only three tables to serve during our visit. For future celebrations, I'll have less difficulty choosing a restaurant, as yours will no longer be on the list of options. It's a shame because the restaurant's cuisine is worth the trip.

10/10/2026: Nice restaurant in Nice with good food. Very popular for lunch but dinner is nice too. After eating you can go to the 7th floor and enjoy the roof top view.
