20/07/2026: The quality has declined, and the menu remains expensive for what it is. The presentation of the dishes is poor. There's a lot of salad as a garnish just to fill the plate, and the bread is frozen and reheated in the oven.

18/04/2026: The food was worse than mediocre. We ordered duck breasts that were impossible to cut, they were so tough. We were offered to change our dishes. The ribeye steak served as a replacement proved to be just as tough; we had to give up after barely a third of the way through. As for the fish, hastily defrosted and reheated, it was barely edible. The final surprise came when the bill arrived: we paid for the most expensive dishes, the ones we had ordered by default, not by choice. Neither a restaurateur nor a merchant.

06/07/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS because, on top of everything else, he doesn't take responsibility for his mistakes! Response to the owner following his completely unacceptable reply! What's YOUR problem? Do you know what my wife's first words were when she pulled those large pieces of "ceramic" out of her mouth and saw the other large pieces on her plate? "THANK GOODNESS it wasn't MY daughter who got that plate!" What's with this "impeccable" comment? What are you implying? When we go to a restaurant, we're putting "our health" in your hands! If a child had had that plate, what would have happened? For example, a bleeding mouth... Would you have written the same thing???? Where's "your delusion"? I'm dying of laughter: I didn't cause a "scandal" during this event, but I did make my remarks, comments, and complaints clear to the waiter, and I waited at least five solid minutes for someone to come over. Strangely, NO ONE came; you just left your waiter to "figure it out"! Even when it came time to pay, I gave my feedback again, and there were two waiters there. And you, where were you? Hiding somewhere, waiting for it to blow over? So you seem to be a bit more "open" online than in person! Oh, and the complimentary dish: There were four of us, and I paid a little over €85 instead of a little over €105. Do you really think I'm going to quibble over €20? On the other hand, you're not concerned about my wife's health at all?! Rest assured, I'd be happy to discuss this issue; it would be a pleasure to liven things up at your establishment! Currently on vacation, I hope to find you open at the beginning of August! WARNING: Madame's plate was badly chipped, and some "nice" pieces ended up in her salad! We only noticed it once she had already eaten a good chunk of salad and a "large" piece had fallen out of her mouth; that's when we all stopped eating. Yes, Madame's dish was complimentary, but this incident left a deep impression on us. To those of you who will be visiting this establishment, be wary of the condition of their dishes! To the owner: When you make a mistake, you should know how to keep a low profile and not try to blame the customer! A quick message asking about my wife's condition would have been appreciated too!

03/07/2026: A warm welcome, friendly staff from both the chef and the waitress. The decor is very pretty, a little kitschy but family-friendly, and the small terrace is lovely. It's a shame the wasps sometimes make an appearance, but the service was excellent (I was able to get a little more blackcurrant in my kir, and we were able to change tables). The tomato and melon starter is unusual and very refreshing, and the Singaporean chicken is fragrant and spicy. The cheese platter is a bit pricey, though, for just honey brie... Overall, quite good, 12/20

31/05/2026: Hello, This is definitely not worth the price in several respects: - We were offered champagne with orange as an aperitif! The champagne was very bad, and even the orange couldn't mask the subtle taste. Plus, it was served in balloons! We all left the aperitif... - Satay skewer with undercooked chicken and a small drumstick on the end! There was no thickening agent in the meager sauce, so obviously it didn't even coat the meat. - The pavlova wasn't really a pavlova at all, as it was advertised as blackcurrant pavlova, but there was no cream, and the blackcurrant, which is what you expect in a pavlova, was nothing more than a scoop of blackcurrant ice cream on top of a bit of meringue. - Pink praline tartlet with raspberry coulis. A tasteless pastry base, and we had to search for the pralines! Just coulis... Yet, the bill is as high as for a good meal! It's all an illusion...

22/07/2026: A host this welcoming is a rare find! He was wonderful with our three teenagers, and we were able to enjoy watching football on TV! The full meal for €17.50 is unbeatable in terms of value for money. It included a buffet of starters, various main courses depending on the owner's cooking style, cheese, desserts, and unlimited wine. We had two fantastic evenings at this restaurant, and we'll gladly return if we're ever in the area again.

18/07/2026: Very disappointing Routier. The buffet salad to start was very unappetising. We weren't offered a choice of main, just had a plate of meat balls and chips put in front of us, then told that was it, cheese if we wanted it for a desert. No offer of wine or any drinks with the meal. I don't mind paying for decent food, but twenty euros for that rubbish and a bottle of beer, I felt ripped off. It's a shame as there is reasonable parking and a public loo outside, which is handy. Facilities (toilets and shower) very dated, probably best not use.

19/04/2026: The hotel is very well located in the heart of Apt, in a charming, very clean, old building. The bedding was comfortable, and our room was spacious. We would gladly return!

06/05/2026: New ownership: consequently, an unpleasant welcome, a very long wait, and very greasy crepes. Very disappointed. We used to come here regularly; from now on, we'll go somewhere else next door.

12/12/2025: A truly unpleasant waiter. You get the feeling you're bothering him; he speaks rudely and answers curtly, which isn't normal for someone who's supposed to be welcoming customers. With each visit, I hope things will be better, but it keeps happening, especially with older people. I feel it's important to mention this because it really spoils the experience. However, the service remains very fast and the galettes taste delicious.

01/07/2026: A lovely spot for lunch (and dinner...). A pleasant surprise between Bastille and République with a very affordable set menu of starter/main or main/dessert: €18.50. The food is delicious, beautifully presented, and the portions are generous. As for the service, thank you for the smiles, the attentive service, and... the cloth napkins! 😁 In short, everything is there for a great time, whether you're alone or with friends. I highly recommend it! ✨️✨️

23/06/2026: Not enough space. We were too cramped at the tables. And the lack of manners among the English staff leaves much to be desired... and the prices have gone up considerably, what a shame, we won't be going back.

20/06/2026: A quick stop on our way to our holiday destination! We wanted to refill our water bottle: nope, it's not possible, they only sell bottled water: €4 for a large bottle 🫣🙃!!! Outrageous!… Nevertheless, the staff remained very friendly and welcoming!

13/04/2026: Lunch here this Sunday. Friendly welcome, good fish at reasonable prices. A great place with an idyllic setting.
