28/09/2026: A lunch for 16 people to celebrate a birthday. A very warm welcome, excellent food, both in terms of quality and quantity, all at a very reasonable price. We will definitely return and highly recommend it.

28/09/2026: A restaurant that completely lives up to expectations of an incredible restaurant! The staff is super welcoming, the atmosphere is amazing, and the food is excellent. There's nothing to complain about. Everything is perfect.

21/06/2026: A galette restaurant not far from the center of Tours. The galettes are gluten-free (made with buckwheat flour), and you can also order a crêpe with galette dough for dessert. It's a small, quiet place with good service. I was there in 2023 and really enjoyed it, so I returned in 2026. This time it was incredibly hot, and it was great that they had air conditioning, as other places in Tours didn't, and there it was a maximum of 40 degrees Celsius!

21/09/2026: We arrived for a drink around 6:45 pm, but were not shown to a seat. Then, 30 minutes later, we saw the shutters come down without a thank you or goodbye, so we had to leave our drinks on the table, with about ten people still on the terrace.

01/09/2026: We were a party of five plus a baby and we received a warm welcome. The staff were friendly and even anticipated some of our needs. The food was decent, well-presented, and the portions were generous. I would go back.

22/10/2026: We ate inside; the weather wasn't suitable for lunch on the terrace. It was too crowded for my liking. The paella had a strange taste; the shellfish were dry, it must have been reheated in the oven. The set menu is €22, which is reasonable, but €9 for a 25cl carafe of wine is expensive considering the quality. I didn't enjoy it, which is a shame.

21/09/2026: The restaurant is open between 19-20:30 but the food runs out just before 20? Also arrogant/unfriendly staff. Don't stay here, move on.

20/07/2026: The best was the home made chocolate marquise. Absolutely delicious and very chocolatey. The starter was a mixed salad that was supposed to have feta but had some sort of reconstituted watery alternative. The mains was a very large portion of ribs with what tasted like a tinned sauce. Ribs also fatty. Potatoes cooked to perfection which is often not the case in restaurants. Coffee so so.

03/06/2026: The rooms are modern and functionally furnished, with soundproof windows, which are definitely necessary when facing the street. Breakfast is also suitable for vegans, although the selection of cheese and meat options is predominantly vegan.

11/09/2026: A lovely spot by the ViaRhona, perfect for a refreshing break! We had lunch there and it was delicious! Very friendly staff.

18/10/2026: We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening at Le Protocole in Dunkirk! We received a very warm welcome upon entering. A special compliment goes to our waiter: he was exceptionally kind and attentive, and his friendly manner made us feel completely at ease as a family. The restaurant also completely won us over with its cuisine: For the children: The mussels with fries (moules-frites) were fresh, expertly prepared, and a huge hit with our kids. Fish soup: My wife was absolutely delighted with the traditional fish soup – wonderfully aromatic and flavorful. Main course: I had the salmon with Béarnaise sauce. The fish was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was exquisitely balanced. Dessert: To finish, the children shared a chocolate mousse – and it was simply divine! A dream of chocolate, rich and creamy. Conclusion: Fantastic cuisine, outstanding quality, and top-notch service in a pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Dunkirk. Highly recommended!
