29/04/2026: Clean shower, great welcome, nothing to complain about, very good food. The waitress always had a smile, large parking lot, great restaurant.

21/07/2026: Very bad experience on July 20, 2026 Upon arrival, we were greeted by saleswomen who were visibly annoyed and particularly cold. No greeting, no smile, and an attitude that clearly gave the impression that our presence bothered them. They were obviously in a hurry to serve us and didn't even give us time to choose our items at our leisure, which was very unpleasant. A minimum of politeness, patience, and professionalism is the foundation of any business. Customers should never feel like they are bothering anyone or being rushed through. It's important to remember that customers are what keep a business afloat. With such an unwelcoming reception, it's difficult to want to return. A very disappointing experience; I will not be back. Avoid at all costs!

25/07/2026: The drinks were nice but out waitress had a big attitude and was drowning 24/7. We were seated next to a storm drain which smelled terrible. They also charged us more than what the menu said it would cost us. NOT SATISFIED

21/07/2026: Well... What can I say?! It's not the first time I've melted over his burger... wow, my mouth is watering! My apologies, Doctor! I forgot to mention that I couldn't resist the desserts either! (And understandably so.) Every time I'm in Dol, I allow myself this little indulgence, but I have to admit, it's worth it! And what's more, the owner is friendly and welcoming... So, bikers, if you want to forget about your diet for a bit, go for it, because he's a biker too! Happy riding, everyone!

16/05/2026: We stumbled upon this place by chance and immediately knew we were in for a treat. A cheerful and festive atmosphere at the bar while we waited for a table, simple yet generous cuisine, colorful characters, and a special shout-out to Eric, Mylène's cousin! 🤣 A genuine, unpretentious, and authentic spot where you feel right at home!

14/05/2026: The waiter who served us was friendly and professional; however, the food was completely bland. The mussels marinière seemed to have been prepared by a chef who had clearly forgotten the proper recipe. The fries were supposedly fresh, but we have our doubts. The chocolate fondant wasn't moist at all. The other two waiters were a bit too familiar. And finally, the restrooms are in dire need of renovation. We know quite a few restaurants in Gruissan, but this is the only one we would avoid at all costs!

30/05/2026: Incredible adventure. I had booked with a Wonderbox gift voucher. I called and got a very unpleasant man who told me to be quiet and listen to what he was saying without interrupting. I should have just said goodbye and thank you and hung up. He explained that I had to send an email with a copy of the gift voucher. I did, and booked a table at the restaurant for both nights. I requested confirmation of my reservation by email. Having received nothing after three days, I contacted them again, and they told me: "I told you yes on the phone, that's enough," and hung up. It's worth noting that they immediately cashed my gift voucher, which appears as used in my Wonderbox account. No reservation for their establishment appears, three months before my stay... Several days before our arrival, I called the hotel and got a woman on the phone. I asked her about the cancellation policy. She really treated me like an idiot, telling me I must have received the confirmation email and terms and conditions in my spam folder, that if I canceled my gift certificate was lost, and then she just hung up on me. We decided not to go, to lose our certificate, and to tell myself they lost even more money since we would have spent it at the restaurant. The worst part is that at 7:30 pm, a woman called to complain about our absence without having notified them. I told her I hadn't dared call because of their rude phone reception and the way they hang up on customers. Absolutely avoid this place.

28/06/2026: The more time passes, the dirtier the place gets, sticky tables, an overflowing bin, and catastrophic toilets that are broken and not clean... There's only one employee for the afternoon, I understand that he doesn't have time to clean by himself, it's not his fault.

20/06/2026: I don't remember the exact name of the menu item, but the chicken sandwich was really delicious! They also recommended the mayonnaise sauce, which was an excellent choice. All the staff are friendly.

09/07/2026: CORRECTION 08/07/2026: Ate there again today after a year. The ambiance is generally nice, shady, and pleasant with its misting system, although the number of guests makes the atmosphere less welcoming and more like a commercial event. The food: Generally different from last year, but overall it seems like the focus has shifted to mass production. The beer was incredibly warm, not chilled, and they only offer small drinks to maximize profits. This doesn't seem very customer-friendly at all 👎. Caesar salad: large portion, fresh meat, so far so good. 8/10 Venteux sausage: An overly seasoned Maggi sauce completely overpowered the taste. The sausage itself wasn't as tasty as it used to be. Now it's potatoes, not mashed potatoes, but with a small dollop of ready-made sauce. 4/10 The Bowle de la Place: unlike the Caesar salad, it came with cheap, processed chicken, which you can easily find in better quality at the supermarket. The rest was okay, although the dish seemed to be prepared very quickly overall. 2/10. EDIT: The next day, both of us who had eaten the chicken felt unwell. Nausea. The reaction of the previously so attentive staff was... shocking. No attention whatsoever. They only took our food order and then ignored us. When we ordered drinks, they immediately took our order for two beers. They didn't even ask about the third; the waitress just ran off. Strange. We would have liked dessert, but no one even looked at us for 20 minutes. Restaurant's development: quantity over quality 👎 The food is tasty and generally very good. Friendly staff, also multilingual and helpful. Portions are neither too big nor too small. Caesar salad: really good combination. Very original. Good chicken. Great sauce. Bravo. 9/10 Burger: The meat is good. The sauce tastes like a classic burger sauce from a tube = very sweet. The burger bun is brioche. Unfortunately, it's very dry because it was only partially cooked. It should have been crisped up briefly in the frying oil. 6/10 Venteux Sausage: Good sausage and delicious mashed potatoes. The gravy tasted like instant gravy, but it worked well. 7/10

08/07/2026: Unfortunately, we didn't enjoy our experience this time. We felt rushed, and the beer, whether bottled or pressed, was warm. My bowl was okay, except for the chicken, which was just processed meat and not tasty. It kind of put me off my food. After we finished eating, we were ignored, so we ended up paying, even though we would have liked to have dessert or an espresso. It's a shame; we really enjoyed it three years ago and one year ago. It's definitely gone downhill.
