30/06/2026: Passing through the region, we decided to visit the castle and stroll through the old town of Combourg. We arrived at 2:30 pm, admittedly at the end of service, a group of five hoping to have a coffee and a Breton crêpe (one must take advantage of the local cuisine). Imagine our surprise when we were rudely turned away by the manager... In the end, the PMU bar next door benefited from our presence.

23/04/2026: On Friday, April 17th, I had lunch with about twenty of my colleagues at your establishment. Arriving around 12:30 pm, we all wanted to order salmon with rice, but unfortunately, this dish was no longer available. We therefore had to settle for a vegetable and black rice salad. We were very disappointed by the presentation, seasoning, and taste of this dish, especially for the price of 14 euros. The quality was completely subpar, and we sincerely believe that this dish should be removed from your menu. Moreover, our plates remained untouched, which speaks volumes about our satisfaction. Furthermore, the service was particularly unpleasant throughout the meal, especially from the dark-haired waitress with the bob haircut, who was, as usual, very unfriendly. I hope this feedback will help you improve the customer experience at your establishment.

06/06/2026: Our experience at this hotel was very disappointing. The air conditioning didn't work during our entire stay, which seriously affected our comfort since we chose the hotel specifically for the air conditioning and the pool. We reported the problem immediately, and as compensation, the staff promised us a partial refund for the inconvenience. It was extremely hot, so we had to open the balcony door to sleep better; however, we were right above the kitchen, which was incredibly noisy and prevented us from getting a good night's rest. In addition, the refrigerator in the room was dirty, with an unpleasant smell of spoiled food. We also reported this, but it was never cleaned during our stay. The most frustrating thing was that, after we left, they continued to assure us that the refund would be issued. Several days have passed, and we still haven't received the money, a definitive solution, or any response whatsoever. It feels like they were simply stalling to avoid fulfilling their promise. Unfortunately, the lack of maintenance, the poor attention given to reported problems, and the failure to honor commitments mean we cannot recommend this hotel. We hope they improve their service and, above all, that they fulfill the compensation they promise their guests.

19/12/2025: We had a wondering dinner last night, served by a very friendly gentleman who was funny and speak excellent English, the duck, steak and prawns were all fantastic, we especially enjoyed the entrees, the calamari and ravioli. The wine recommended to pair with the duck was excellent too. Thank you for giving us such an amazing dining experience.

10/07/2026: We treated ourselves to three pizzas at "Le Triangle" to round off our camping holiday. They're incredibly delicious pizzas for such a low price. If I'd known about them earlier in the week, I would have become a regular.

20/06/2026: A really pleasant place, away from the traffic, and a very well-designed terrace. That's THE positive point, and I think the only one. As for the meal, once we ordered, the child with us was served quite quickly, which was great since he was hungry... But we weren't served until half an hour later! Since when do several people eat separately at a table? And we hadn't ordered anything that required a lot of cooking! We had heard about their poke bowls and pizzas, and given the sweltering weather, we opted for poke bowls and a meat dish. The dishes arrived, and the rice was cold, tasteless, and bland... There was a little bit of topping, but the radishes were rotten, and there was very, very little sauce. So we asked for more. We also ordered still and sparkling water; I think they're still sitting somewhere on the counter... The service was rushed, just like the poor service itself. I understand the waiter's "ultra-polite" attitude when they take the time to attend to customers, but it quickly becomes irritating when you hear, "Yes, so you've made your choice," when we weren't the ones who ordered. Wouldn't it have been polite to simply ask if everything was alright? The bread was as hard as a rock, the water we ordered never arrived, and no one mentioned that the children's menu included one drink... Minor details, you might say, but important enough to point out! These are the reasons why we didn't order dessert, coffee, or anything else. These are also the reasons why I didn't leave a tip, as I usually do. The food was more than just so-so (if I go to a restaurant, it's to eat at least as well as I would at home, right?). The welcome and service were also more than just so-so (being told we had to sit at a table for two, not four, even though we had booked for four and had a reservation! But two people arrived at different times). Anyway, I'm a bit confused in my comments, but what's certain is... I won't be going back, despite the place being really nice! In addition to your response to my opinion, please know that we don't have unreasonable expectations. If my opinion bothered you, I'm simply sorry. But it's just a reflection of what actually happened. I'm not criticizing for the sake of it, quite the opposite. I'm simply stating my observations and opinions. I reiterate that yes, one of the servers wasn't very professional, but yes, we forgive him and attribute it to the heat. I mentioned it to you live regarding certain garnishes: the response was quick... They were cooked this morning... Do you cook a radish? Especially when you put it in a salad? Yes, I completely understand that the kitchen staff had a lot on their plate and that they're doing their best, but as a customer, I think that's also the bare minimum expected, am I wrong? I'm acting in good faith and not exaggerating anything; things are reported exactly as they happened. I understand you're upset, but we were disappointed... So...

12/05/2026: Close to everything but far from the noise, we enjoyed a peaceful stay and received a very warm welcome. Free parking, a clean room, and a pleasant breakfast in the veranda won us over. A truly wonderful find, we highly recommend it!
