06/05/2026: We celebrated our wedding anniversary at the Auberge de la Forêt, and everything was perfect. From the very beginning of the event planning, which included nearly 40 guests, we were impressed by the professionalism and kindness of our hostess, who was able to accommodate all our requests. On the day itself, aperitifs were served outside on a beautiful shaded terrace, and the meal that followed took place in a magnificent private room, reserved especially for us, with tables set with exquisite elegance. The carefully selected menu, served by smiling and welcoming staff, delighted all our guests. Thank you for helping us make this anniversary such a memorable event for everyone who attended.

24/04/2026: This was our favorite food of the trip so far. The waitress was accommodating to lack of French vocabulary. There is an appetizer buffet, you pick one of a few options for the main, and again one of a few options for the dessert. It was made well and was delicious!

14/04/2026: It's really unfortunate to be turned away, supposedly because you didn't have a reservation and you arrived at 11:50 am when all the tables were practically empty, and you ate very quickly. Plus, they weren't very friendly. Too bad, we'll go to Bayeux from now on…

25/05/2026: Perfect 👌 I highly recommend it. A tip: avoid the restaurants on the main square. Take a look in the side streets; that's how I stumbled upon LE GALION, recommended several years in a row by "Le Guide du Routard" (The Rough Guide). Thanks again for the warm welcome.

15/05/2026: In a beautiful farmhouse setting, you'll discover an excellent bistro called Le Maisnil Mon Temps. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff is attentive, and the menu is perfectly crafted. It's a wonderful experience! Nothing more needs to be said!

The delicate Asian influences provide a constantly renewed delight. Thimothé's service is impeccable, elevating the dishes with remarkably precise and original wine pairings. A must-visit in Tarbes and the surrounding area.

14/06/2026: This is the second time we've dined at Pizzeria Di Giovanni as a family. The food is excellent: the first time, the linguine arrabbiata with prawns was a real treat; the second time, the daily special: a hanger steak so tender with its accompanying vegetables, a delight! The service is top-notch, the waitress is friendly and very professional. As a result, we always have a wonderful evening. We'll be back in a month to try the new menu.

08/06/2026: The dishes were a little different from other restaurants in La Rochelle, and that's a good thing! It was delicious... and the service was very pleasant. And the chocolate mousse (photo)... a real treat.

03/06/2026: After reading the various reviews, we decided to treat ourselves and eat at this restaurant. The welcome was warm and friendly. However, we were all disappointed by the value for money. We ordered different dishes, and considering the prices, nothing was particularly impressive: an undercooked chicken leg, rather small portions, and a very basic burger. Nothing exceptional, in short, which is a real shame.

03/05/2026: I’ve just been here and order food that was not good - the taste of the tartar was not good, the meet feels strange and it has some strange taste (sorry that I have not took a picture!…), the French fries were lots of oil and look tied. I refused the course, but they charged my anyway!!!! And when I asked them to remove it from the bill they say “Sorry madam, it’s not our problem that you didn’t liked it!” So… bad food, bad service

13/04/2026: Great time! We had the daily special: mussels and beef and spinach lasagna. It was delicious! The staff is friendly and welcoming. And we really enjoyed our meal! Well done!

16/06/2026: A superb discovery at the market. The daily special was generous and delicious: a wonderfully fresh salmon tartare. The homemade dessert, a Bavarian cream, was simply excellent. All accompanied by a very good glass of Chardonnay (Chablis) 😉. The owner is very friendly and helpful, even with a full terrace. The young waitresses are energetic, smiling, and very attentive. Thank you to the whole team for this very pleasant experience. 🙏

02/06/2026: A very nice establishment with one of the most beautiful terraces in Mont-de-Marsan. The chef offers refined cuisine using local produce. Also worth noting is the excellent wine selection. Highly recommended.
