28/01/2026: For 10 years, I was a regular customer at the Auberge des Tureaux, but life's twists and turns meant I hadn't been back for 15 years. My first surprise: the chef recognized me, and so did the staff—many of whom hadn't changed. I won't deny that this was a very pleasant welcome! My second surprise: the food was still as delicious as ever, perhaps even better than I remembered, and the portions were still just as generous. In short, apart from the decor, nothing had changed, or rather, it had even improved! This makes the Auberge des Tureaux probably the best value for money in the Allier region today.

17/02/2026: A lovely little evening with friends. We had a great table and the food was excellent! The owner took the time to explain each dish, gave us a wine tasting lesson, and even shared a little secret for finishing our cassoulet perfectly 🤫 A true immersion in Occitanie 🥰 I loved it and I'll be back! The "Ça sulfit" wine was very good; I can't wait to try the "Terroiristes" when I return! In short... go for it!

02/02/2026: The family gathered for a weekend at this superb gîte. The rooms are magnificent. The bar, with its pool table and foosball, is ideal for extending the evening for those who wish, without having to drive home. A big thank you.

03/11/2025: Unexpected quaint beach Cafe in a tiny village where our boat was met at the beach by a dozen wandering cows. The menu is very, very limited - but the food is excellent and the service is friendly. A must-visit for Girolata!

05/03/2026: A highly recommended evening at this restaurant where everything was absolutely top-notch. The fondue was delicious with its accompanying side dishes. A very good, modern take on the classic dessert was recommended to us by Dristant. The waiters and waitresses were very friendly. A cozy atmosphere and a very warm welcome.

21/02/2026: The hostel has a good location, very close to the Metro. The rooms are comfortable, safe, and organized. It was my first time staying there, and I found it very peaceful. As for the service, I only didn't give it 5 stars because of one employee who seemed to be there reluctantly, always appearing grumpy, and when asked, he didn't respond well. I don't know his name, but he's a man with long hair. The other employees are great, always very patient, welcoming, and willing to help. I recommend the hostel for those who want value for money and a good location. I will definitely stay there again if I ever return to Paris.

21/02/2026: This hostel also has a bar. The bar is located on the first floor, and the guest rooms are accessed through a locked door. The bar is open late into the night, making it quite lively, but it was quiet and could not be heard from the guest rooms. The shower, sink, and toilet are shared on the floor. The sewage smell was noticeable, but the room seemed reasonably clean. Considering the price, I think it's a good place to stay in Paris. There were no issues with the safety of the guests. I ran out of drinking water at night and went down to the front desk, where they kindly shared some water from the bar. However, be aware that it is located in a somewhat unsafe area. It's a little far from the tourist spots along the Seine River, and there are no other tourist attractions nearby, so you'll need to walk or take the subway for a long time.

18/02/2026: Meal with siblings Good welcome. The owner in the kitchen was perfect and welcoming! Simple and good food. A big plus is that when you ask for rare meat, it is indeed rare, well-prepared, and high-quality (for the ribeye). The daily specials were simple and good. The desserts were simple and good. The gourmet coffee was generous and affordable! The overall price of the daily menu was very reasonable! It's a shame about the cooking fumes that cling to clothes! The interior decor wasn't to my taste (I'll have to see it this summer in the sunshine to change my opinion). However, I recommend it; you won't be disappointed!

30/11/2025: Very disappointed! Calf's head served with one slice, one potato, and one carrot! The quenelle was very bland and swimming in a lobster bisque dish that was watered down! And don't bother looking for the red and black checkered tablecloths; they're only in the photo! This is nothing like a traditional Lyonnais bistro!

The menu is seasonal, with a set menu at a fixed price (excluding extras) offering a refined and thoughtful selection of several starters, main courses, and desserts. Each dish is precise, elegant, flavorful, and perfectly executed. A cheese plate is also available as an extra, and it's definitely worth trying. Special mention goes to the Saturday and Sunday brunch: an exceptional brunch, generous, creative, and made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. A truly delightful experience, a treat from beginning to end. The setting is warm, the atmosphere convivial, and the welcome absolutely delightful. A huge thank you to Franck, Flo, and their entire team, who are so friendly and passionate. A true gem in Maussane-les-Alpilles.

28/12/2025: We went to eat at this restaurant in mid-November on a Friday evening with our 28-month-old daughter. The welcome was fantastic, the service impeccable! Alisson went out of her way to take care of our daughter (we weren't easy that evening) by bringing us little coloring books, etc. The menu was enticing and the dishes served were delicious! All the staff were incredibly attentive! We had the chance to chat with Franck, who was very friendly! The decor of this establishment is stunning! We will definitely be back and highly recommend it.
