07/06/2026: A truly delightful and relaxing experience at Mas Candille. The setting is absolutely sublime: elegant and refined, yet never stuffy. The welcome is warm and attentive, immediately contributing to the serene atmosphere. Lunch by the pool was a real treat, with dishes as flavorful as they were delicate: zucchini blossoms, perfectly cooked John Dory, and red berries for dessert. The spa is a haven of peace: a heated pool at 26 degrees Celsius, a hammam, a sauna, and sun loungers invite you to completely disconnect. As for the massage, it was simply divine, providing a profound sense of well-being and relaxation. An enchanting, timeless interlude from which you emerge completely refreshed. €250 per person for the all-inclusive package, which I highly recommend.

31/07/2026: Excellent dinner this evening, July 31st, to conclude our stay in Bandol! My husband and I enjoyed everything: the warm welcome, the perfect meal (the foie gras was delicious, the John Dory cooked to perfection, and the chocolate-themed dessert was to die for!), the thoughtful touches (the chef's marshmallows at the end of the meal... my husband almost took the jar home with him...). In short, thank you for this wonderful experience.

14/07/2026: We decided to return to this restaurant after four years, with great enthusiasm and the hope of recapturing the wonderful experience we had previously enjoyed. The ambiance and decor are still as pleasant as ever, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of our lunch. We arrived with high expectations and hearty appetites. We left disappointed and far from satisfied. Service: mediocre and clumsy From the outset, we were asked to choose our dessert before we had even started our meal. An unusual practice, but we agreed. We quickly regretted it. When we shared our comments about the dishes, the waitress simply said, "Ah, I see," without apology or questions. The same reaction occurred when we sent the desserts back. This gave us the impression that she herself wasn't convinced of the quality of what she was serving. The starters were decent, but the rest was a disaster. The starters ranged from passable to good. However, the main courses were a real disappointment: • a tough lamb chop with an overly salty, almost inedible sauce; • a beef fillet that was decidedly not tender, even served rare, with a sauce that was once again too reduced and too salty. The side dishes were meager: a small, poorly executed rectangle of dauphine potatoes and a tiny bowl of vegetables meant to be shared between two people. This might have been acceptable if the flavors and freshness had been there, but they weren't. Desserts: a complete failure. The cherries in port served with a "panna cotta" were tasteless, and the panna cotta was a panna cotta in name only. The warm pear and chocolate soufflé was undercooked: you couldn't taste the pear or the chocolate, only the unvaporated alcohol. We left both desserts, as they were simply inedible. A hefty bill for a disappointing experience We paid the full bill, €262, despite not enjoying or finishing our meals. Conclusion The principle of a restaurant is, first and foremost, to provide good food. If you want to treat yourself, in my humble opinion, Le Sérac is not the right choice. Especially since several excellent restaurants can be found in the village: Le Rond de Carotte, Source, or, for a similar price, La Ferme du Cupelin and La Table d’Armante in Saint Nicolas de Véroce. A real shame for the culinary scene of Saint Gervais les Bains. We were hoping for at least a decent meal; unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

What a joy to savor seasonal vegetables, especially those from the garden! The seasonings were delicate and unexpected. The staff were charming, attentive, and always smiling. 31/05/2026: Hello to all the restaurant staff! Sorry for the late post. Time and age... 🤣 What can I say about this new experience at La Fermette? Nothing to report! Everything is in place for a great time. We were familiar with the father's cooking, and now, the discovery is a delicate one, a gentle change of style so as not to unsettle his customers. I advise you all to skip one mediocre restaurant and book a table for lunch or dinner; the difference is in the lighting. Best of luck to the young chef, may he introduce us to flavors from here and elsewhere. A wonderful new generation! Thank you to the parents for this beautiful place and their food. The dishes are original, with a great deal of thought put into the pairings with the sauces, which are also delicious. A place to remember for an unforgettable evening. I loved it.

We both chose the vol au vent, which were delicious and filling. So we shared a dessert, that was enough for lunch. Well worth a visit!

14/07/2026: A truly memorable experience in Curtil-Vergy. Everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The dishes were remarkably refined, especially the delicate combination of asparagus with capers and bacon bits. We also enjoyed a selection of magnificent wines, ranging from 2010 to 2023. A must-visit for lovers of fine food and quality ingredients. I will definitely be back.
