15/07/2026: Café Bellecour in Lyon is perfect for a refreshing break. There's no free parking nearby, only paid parking lots. For a simple afternoon break, you don't need a reservation to get a table. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The staff is very professional and always attentive to their customers. The service is smooth and quick. The outdoor terrace is very pleasant, especially during the hot season. The atmosphere is quite calm, with little traffic on the street. As for prices, it's on Bellecour, so two bottles of Badoit mineral water with lemon slices cost €9. It's a great place to enjoy a peaceful moment with excellent service.

18/04/2026: Hello, I stopped by this morning to buy a raspberry cake. As a regular customer of this pastry shop for its excellent cakes, I was very unpleasantly surprised by the reception I received when I entered the shop. I said hello, but the two people inside were eating and didn't respond, just stared at me. This is the first and last time I will ever set foot in there.

18/06/2026: My wife and I went there for dinner. We ordered the four-course set menu for €38 and were absolutely delighted. The food was delicious and the portions were incredibly generous. We were full and happy as we headed back to the car.

28/05/2026: We had lunch here after visiting Falaise castle. I had a gallette with eggs, cheese and ham. My wife had one with just egg and ham, and our son had chicken nuggets and chips, which he described as as good as the ones from Blacksmith Arms (his favourite place for chicken nuggets). The gallette was delicious and the service was great too. There's an outdoors seating area, though we chose to sit indoors with A/C instead of out in the heat. Can highly recommend a lunch here.

24/05/2026: The manager was very unpleasant and refused us entry to the terrace, even though it was half empty. The other customers who were seated were just as surprised as we were. Judging by other comments about the owner, we're not the first. P.S. in response: I note that your comment, signed "the unfriendly one," was also very predictable 😊

06/07/2026: Located near the A64 motorway, don't be fooled by the exterior. It has a large dining room and a spacious outdoor terrace. Dogs are welcome outside. The menu is excellent, and the price is reasonable. Don't hesitate to stop by; you won't be disappointed. Sabine and Stéphane.

23/07/2026: While the food was good overall, I find it very strange that they have foie gras on the menu for both entree et plat despite it being the middle of the summer. When asked I they could accommodate a vegetarian dish they came up with a plate of veggies and an omelette which however wasn’t included in the menu, so our friend ended up having to pay 36 euros when the menu was only 27. I asked to have a second appetizer from the menu instead of the main dish and was told I’d have to pay for that outside of the menu, meaning it would have cost me over 45 euros - this is just absurd ! This lack of flexibility and willingness to work with the customer made the experience highly disappointing

05/06/2026: At reception, they offer you a drink (we had a simple glass of water with a little syrup) which is charged for! At dinner, the waitress didn't know what the daily special was! In the end, the lasagna on the menu was reheated and probably not fresh. Breakfast was rather basic. For pilgrims, this place is not recommended given the price/quality ratio.

12/05/2026: If you're familiar with the Louis de Funès film "L'Aile ou la Cuisse" (The Wing or the Thigh), and especially the line "Where are the toilets?", to which the innkeeper replies, "Follow the flies," you'll feel right at home. The rooms are outdated and nothing like the ones on the website; you can hear the neighbor using the toilet. The meal was completely ordinary, with nothing Basque about it. This was the worst accommodation I've had in 10 days of walking the Camino de Santiago, and at €150 for a room with half-board, it's nowhere near the standard of a Logis hotel. I gave my opinion after paying, and the person's response was, "I'll pass it on"... eloquent indeed!

03/07/2026: It was a pleasure to rediscover this terrace by the Seine, the only one in the Melun area. While they only offered one dish, the couscous on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, was simply delicious. I highly recommend it.
