06/06/2026: The summer platter is back. I had the tender, pink, five-sided rack of lamb. The accompanying salads were subtly seasoned, but the curry was sublime. Three or four pieces of seasonal fruit completed the meal with fries.

15/05/2026: Passing through town with the circus, we came to this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! We travel a lot and eat in many restaurants, and this one is definitely among the best. The service was impeccable, the portions were generous, and above all, the quality was truly top-notch. We ordered a starter, main course, and dessert, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end, all in a warm and friendly atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. Thank you so much.

09/06/2026: We arrived at 12:30 PM as a group of two and waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food on a half-empty terrace. Two waitresses brought us the menu 20 minutes later. Everything is incredibly slow here. The Milanese-style veal cutlet, which was a very small portion, was far too overcooked. The salmon tartare was just okay. I won't be back.

19/05/2026: Extremely disappointing. There was a long wait before being served. The Milanese veal cutlet was tough, thick, and very greasy. And the so-called apricot tarte tatin was just pastry with a few apricots on top, at €7.50 a slice. I do not recommend it.

25/07/2026: Well, what can I say except that I didn't enjoy my fish dish. The setting is nice, and while the welcome wasn't exactly warm, it was polite and professional. It definitely feels like a restaurant for regulars, and if you're not one, the treatment isn't the same. Back to the dish, and to be fair, I only ate that; I didn't try anything else, so it doesn't reflect the quality of the other dishes. The white fish was tough, even rubbery, and the salmon—I don't know what it was marinated in, but it wasn't a success. Fortunately, the bed of potatoes and the curry sauce were very good. The prawns and mussels were insignificant; they were just a garnish, as there were so few of them. At €26, I found it expensive. So, this is just my opinion, and you should try it for yourselves, but personally, I won't be going back.

09/06/2026: Dinner on the terrace in the evening. A warm welcome and a varied menu, but definitely not a menu. The restaurant is located on a square with little car traffic. Very welcoming and excellent quality food.

20/06/2026: Very disappointed with our experience at this restaurant. We went there with a €144 gift voucher for two (drinks included). Let's start with the food: it was decent enough, but nothing special. We were given the Asian menu, or rather, we had no choice but to take the Asian menu. We only realized when the table next to us arrived later that we were entitled to a different menu… in short, already incomprehensible. But then the service was a disaster. We barely had time to serve our aperitifs before, two minutes later, we were served our starters. This was already difficult to understand, given that we were entitled to two glasses of wine in our set menu. But the icing on the cake was what happened next: if we hadn't asked twice, we would never have received our glass of wine. It arrived after we had finished our main course. Very pleasant to see the glass of wine arrive when you're having dessert. So we were able to drink our glass of wine after we'd finished our main course, and the other glass of wine that was probably meant to come with the starter never arrived. We were already having our aperitif with the starter, after all… It's the first time I've ever been to a restaurant where they didn't serve us the wine we'd paid for. After expressing my dissatisfaction twice, they offered us a digestif as we were leaving the restaurant, still carrying our things. On the plus side of the evening, there was a guitarist/singer who really livened things up.

04/04/2026: We absolutely loved Le Chalet du Motet! We enjoyed every bite from start to finish: the porcini mushroom fondue was absolutely divine 🤤, bursting with flavor, incredibly delicious… pure bliss! And the salad dressing… incredible 😍 Honestly, we'd love to know the secret, it was so perfect! A huge thank you to the waiter, who was fantastic: welcoming, professional, and super friendly. And the owners are simply wonderful, warm, and passionate. This is exactly the kind of place we adore, where everything comes together for a truly great time. We'll definitely be back! 03/04/2026: The steak was raw, the burger too, the vegetarian salad cost €2 less than the steak… after returning it to get the meat well-done, still no improvement.

31/07/2026: Great coffee, even the woman behind the bar downstairs was super nice but the waiters upstairs are not friendly at all, did not feel welcoming at all. They gave us cups to go downstairs (without asking) and then were basically kicking us out upstairs because were not allowed to have to go cups with us - there are nice and proper ways to address situations.

18/12/2025: PS: In response to your reply, you're clearly mistaken, and your response is typical of your establishment! I'm a man, so not at all the person you think I am. There were four of us... I work and haven't been unemployed since I was 17. So you're proving that your mentality is just like your little restaurant... completely awful. As for the nursing home, I'm only 40, so that can wait, but the food should be better than at your place, or at least the hygiene will be much better! We called to make a reservation at this restaurant... and here we are, only to find it's closed and we'll have to eat at the restaurant across the street. Why not mention this when we make the reservation? Well, the dishes seem to be the same, but we first have to wait in line for 15 minutes while the people in front of us order their takeout... The waitress didn't even bother to help, wonderful! We then ordered our meals, spitting like all the other customers onto the plates already laid out on the bar, waiting to be served, but right at the point where we ordered, paid, and so on... In short, the hygiene was simply appalling, as was the waitress who opened the large yellow bin from outside several times in front of us and then touched the bread baskets, plates, and cutlery. The food itself was still satisfactory, and the dishes were cooked as requested.

05/05/2026: A very welcoming establishment, impeccable service at the bar from the owner who is very friendly and always has a warm smile, and enjoyable afternoons playing board games which are quite popular. The atmosphere is truly pleasant and makes you want to come back! Keep up the good work, it's fantastic!

28/02/2026: An unpretentious establishment opposite the train station, but welcoming and well-run. We ordered salads, so it's difficult to call it gourmet cuisine. But they were good, fresh, and generously portioned for €14. Expect to pay €20 for a set menu. The service is friendly, even warm, making it a pleasant stop and a relaxing break before catching our train.
