03/05/2026: The room was quite dilapidated, with significant damage to the walls, a broken shutter that wouldn't close, cobwebs, dead insects, and accumulated dust on the baseboards and pipes. There was mold and grime on the shower hose, the bottom of the glass, and in the corners of the shower tray. The toilet was so small that a seated adult man's knees hit the door. The bathroom ventilation was so noisy it was unbearable. There was no soundproofing between the room and the rest of the hotel. The TV was very small, propped against the wall by a bath towel. The patio door didn't close properly. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable, and the view of Sainte-Baume and the citadel was pleasant. However, considering the state of the room, the price was clearly too high. We will not be staying there again. There is no free parking nearby.

12/04/2026: A very nice, very clean hotel with a warm welcome and excellent service. I was delighted with my stay and the view was beautiful.

27/07/2026: I often stop by for a treat. Conveniently located near the train station. Polite service. Good prices.

23/07/2026: They started speaking English with the customers, without even a word of French, and the worst part is that I went to the toilet and, when I came back, they had thrown away what I had ordered even though I hadn't finished eating.

17/12/2025: Nothing modern, nothing sophisticated! But home-style cooking just the way we like it, a warm welcome, and a cozy atmosphere... just like in the old days! Thanks to the chef for always running the kitchen with such passion.

24/05/2026: We were running a bit late and the kitchen was closed, which we didn't know, yet the man made every effort to still serve tagliatelle with salmon, which we politely declined when we asked if we could have some fries instead; no problem at all. Thanks for all the effort

24/06/2026: Here, the bill is based on how much you think you can get away with. Displayed: €3.50 for 25cl of beer. Two 33cl beers ordered magically transformed into €12. The bartender was unpleasant. In short, avoid this place if you're just passing through.

05/07/2026: The dishes are delicious, full of flavor, simple and well prepared, you can tell it's homemade, a real treat (special mention for the trio of quiches and the red fruit port sauce with the duck breast).

27/05/2026: Despite the information indicating it was open, it was closed! This allowed me to discover the wood-fired barbecues at Les Sablettes. Excellent!!

10/07/2026: ⚠️Food poisoning after eating the Parma ham and Saint-Nectaire cheese sandwich: I immediately noticed it was acidic and didn't taste the same as usual. While eating, I realized it was the ham. A few hours later, I started feeling sick (typical signs of food poisoning), so I returned half the sandwich and informed them. The manager tasted one sandwich and confirmed that the ham in the other sandwiches had an off taste, but didn't even give me a full refund. (A bit much, don't you think?) I often shop at this bakery, and beyond the fact that they're not pleasant, if what they sell makes me sick and they don't even bother to offer a simple gesture of goodwill, that's just not acceptable!

07/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our visit. One of the waitresses was particularly unpleasant, cold, and unfriendly from beginning to end. When you work in the restaurant industry, a welcoming atmosphere and a smile are essential. If she's no longer happy with this job, perhaps she should consider a different career. Fortunately, the rest of the staff was welcoming, friendly, and professional, which deserves to be highlighted.

30/06/2026: Hello, oh dear, disappointed 😞 The location near the cinema is nice. The atmosphere inside is a bit tired. The service was decent. However, the meal was disappointing. The pizza lacked flavor, and the mountain burger was also bland. The fries were tasteless and "frozen"—I don't see the point of them in a restaurant. Unfortunately, I won't be back.

05/07/2026: A truly delightful and welcoming place! We were constantly charmed, whether by the cuisine, which is both refined and rooted in local traditions, or by the servers, all equally charming and attentive. A wonderful place that I wholeheartedly recommend!

12/06/2026: I had lunch at the Mercure Hotel in Roubaix, at the Le Vieil Abreuvoir restaurant. On the menu: homemade iced tea and pasta with chorizo. Everything was delicious! The portions are very generous, and the staff is particularly welcoming, attentive, and takes great care of their customers. The menu is varied, with a selection of dishes and desserts that changes weekly. An excellent reason to come back regularly! I highly recommend this restaurant for a pleasant time and a wonderful culinary experience.

06/06/2026: I came for lunch with my daughter on a weekday. The setting is magnificent, in a charming hotel. Lunch was excellent and the staff were very attentive. A great place to remember in Roubaix 👍🏻
