25/07/2026: The food was excellent. The service was incredibly fast. The staff were friendly. Very busy... Waiting time up to 15 minutes for entry without a reservation, or possibly being turned away. It's a bit cramped, but manageable. I recommend it.

08/05/2026: Ideally located, this hotel is simply magnificent. The ground-floor room was spacious, the sunset from the terrace was breathtaking, and there were walks accessible directly from the hotel with incredible views, all surrounded by eco-grazing. Everything was perfect. The welcome was warm and professional. Breakfast, featuring homemade and local products, was both simple and simply delicious.

22/04/2026: The head waiter pushes you to buy more (alcohol, bottled water, cheeses, etc.). He uses pompous language without any distinction. The wines are exorbitantly and unjustifiably priced. The cheapest wine, a Muscadet Luneau-Papin (€13.50 in stores), was charged at €44! Bread is served very sparingly. We were fortunate enough to check the bill. Tap water was charged at €5. The €45 reservation fee was not taken into account by the same head waiter. A huge disappointment considering the establishment's reputation; it felt like a rip-off. We will not be returning.

11/06/2026: Terrible service - We stopped off for a couple of drinks after cycling along the river - I ordered at the bar , we waited outside for nearly half an hour (the bar had customers, but wasn't busy) I went back in to check on our beers, thinking maybe they were waiting at the bar , but the server was at a table talking to friends - we just left 🤷

20/01/2026: Excellent welcome. Excellent meal. The rooms are spotless. I've been coming once a year for the past five years. Always just as good. The art exhibition changes every year.

06/01/2026: Excellent welcome. The staff was very friendly and attentive to customers. Finally, someone who loves their work! The food was high quality. Quiet atmosphere. Congratulations to the owner's wife who paints sublime pictures – what beautiful decor! It's a shame she doesn't sell her paintings. Hats off to the artist! I highly recommend it.

22/03/2026: I found the atmosphere gloomy. TV and music blaring. €4 for a can of Sprite. It might be fine for private parties, but for just hanging out like that, it's completely pointless.

05/05/2026: We spent three nights at this hotel. The staff is very welcoming and the rooms are very pleasant. There was a small problem with a spring in room 414, but it was quickly resolved. The housekeeping staff is excellent. The food is very good. Special mention to the lady who was in charge of breakfast on Saturday, May 2nd. She had incredible energy serving the guests, covering miles during service to replenish the food: well done! The only downside was the lack of cloth napkins on the tables. While this isn't a big deal, the half-sized white paper napkins are more like something you'd find at a mobile chip shop—no, not in a Mercure hotel.

04/05/2026: I was very disappointed with this hotel. I had booked a special package that included a bottle of wine in the room upon arrival and a late dinner. However, the wine was mediocre; we didn't drink it. We didn't use the late dinner because we were planning to enjoy the indoor pool, but it was so cold that we only took a quick dip. This hotel is absolutely not worth the price I paid!

19/04/2026: We wanted to have a drink on this sunny Sunday. Not a greeting from the waiter. A 10-minute wait. Two tables arrived after us and were served before us. We left and we won't be back.

19/04/2026: Attentive staff available 24/7, 100% recommended!

19/04/2026: Check-in was supposed to be until 8 pm on weekends. At 7 pm, everything closed, forcing me to call customer service... not ideal! Whereas Booking.com stated check-in was available until 11 pm. The hotel is very noisy! As is increasingly common, guests seem to be completely isolated, with no respect for others! The bathroom is very small and not very clean (yellow mold stains and general grime). The staff were friendly. Breakfast was so-so.

05/04/2026: Better to go elsewhere. They cut off the heating during the day using circuit breakers in the reception area. Dirty rooms, filthy carpet, and there aren't enough light bulbs in the bathroom—you can't see anything.

25/07/2026: TLDR: Better avoid if you are not really desperate. We stopped here on our way on GR20 for food and some drinks. It seemed fine at first. We ordered medium rare entrecote, which turned out to be partly blue. The staff was not welcoming and they even ripped us off - counted 4 more drinks than we had. They refused to subtract it, so we paid it. It's a nice place, but the fact that they act like that is just sad.

17/04/2026: Really great! The waiter was very friendly. The younger waiter was a bit too shy or not smiley enough, but the other one was lovely! The meal was very good. Pleasant terrace.
