The food is absolutely delicious, whether it's the burgers, pizzas, meat dishes, or anything else—it's all incredibly good. The desserts are just as good 🥰 Personally, I highly recommend the "spicy" burger. Please never take it away or change the recipe; it's so good! 🥰 You might think it's spicy from the name, but it's not spicy at all, or at least the chorizo ​​isn't strong. 🤗 The staff is super friendly. PS: The restrooms are spotless, and the baby changing facilities are great too. 👌

15/07/2026: Excellent meal at Patio Hamburger Angevin, top-notch! However, the head waiter didn't speak very well to the servers. It would be nice if they treated them better, please. His comments were bordering on insulting; this shouldn't happen anymore, especially not in front of customers.

Eric, the owner, is simply perfect: smiling, attentive, and always ready to chat—you immediately sense that here, people are at the heart of the experience. As for the food, it's a real treat: everything is homemade, with quality ingredients and generous portions. The value for money is excellent, making this place even more appealing. It's definitely a charming, authentic, and friendly eatery, just the way we like them. The atmosphere is relaxed, warm, almost familial. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a more leisurely meal, you'll always receive a warm welcome and leave with a smile. A wonderful place for those seeking good, authentic food, and above all, a human touch. I highly recommend it!

27/05/2026: We were looking forward to enjoying breakfast at your establishment, but as the terrace was in full sun, we asked for the parasol on your lovely terrace to be opened a little. The waitress, who wasn't very friendly, categorically refused. We had come on Monday at the same time and had been very well received by the waiter on duty that day. What a shame!

21/07/2026: Very poorly received. Despite having my ID, I was refused entry, even though there were no problems at other casinos.

19/07/2026: The staff wasn't very welcoming, the gaming tables were overcrowded, and the dealers didn't manage anything. The toilets were disgusting. The location next to the train station and its crowds of intoxicated people doesn't help make this a pleasant place.

30/03/2026: The crepes are good, but the cashier is unpleasant and rude. We ordered our crepe and were yelled at by a disrespectful old woman. It's ridiculous... it's good and cheap...

19/03/2026: The lemon they use is awful, and the man with the glasses is absolutely unpleasant. Disgusting.

30/05/2026: Rude and uninterested. We were seated, then told to wait 45 minutes so the staff and the owner could eat. They wouldn't even bring us coffee or a croissant. A complete tourist trap. We got up again. When we asked how things worked there, the answer was: "We're hungry and would like to eat." And that's what they say to a customer who goes to a restaurant because they're hungry.

16/05/2026: A very welcoming little restaurant, the owner is very friendly, the chef is fabulous, everything is homemade, nothing to complain about, I'll definitely be back.

15/05/2026: A meeting place on Saturdays after the market, with an aperitif featuring market produce. Sunny terrace and friendly atmosphere.

06/05/2026: A small, neighborhood brasserie, just the kind you'd love. The food is good, so why three stars? The reason lies in the service, which spoils the experience. Indeed, apart from one waiter (a tall one) who is polite, friendly, and pleasant, the rest of the staff makes you want to go somewhere else. The only saving grace for this establishment is that it's the only café/restaurant in the area.

26/07/2026: We were just passing through Épinal and ate at this restaurant twice, and honestly, we have nothing but praise. The waiters were incredibly kind and very professional. The food was delicious, both the main courses and the desserts. The waiters had a great sense of humor, and we had a wonderful time. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to Maxime from Verre Cattin; we had a great laugh with him! :) You know, the ones who talk like people from Marseille, haha! xD

22/07/2026: A disastrous experience. The waitress was in a hurry to take our payment but couldn't bring paper napkins with the ice cream sundaes, claiming it wasn't part of the restaurant service. 🤔🤔🤔 I've never heard such an excuse! The "Italian" ice cream sundaes are sold for between €6 plain and €7.50 with a sauce... a real RIP-OFF! We had just arrived from Hyères in the Var region, and even at the port of Hyères on the Mediterranean, the large 3-scoop ice cream sundae with whipped cream, sauce, and two toppings is sold for €6.50 with the impeccable quality of an artisanal ice cream parlor and an incomparable quantity... In conclusion: AVOID AT ALL COSTS

07/07/2026: Mentioned in Gault Millau and more than worthy. Very tasty ice cream, beautiful sundaes/configurations. Sorbet is also top-notch. Staff are also very friendly and pleasant.

13/07/2026: The omelets were ridiculously expensive, and the ingredients were frozen and tasteless. I'm completely disgusted at being ripped off like this. My wife ordered a vegetarian omelet gratin, and she didn't even finish it because it was so bland. I ordered their house specialty with four mushrooms, and the mushrooms were rubbery and tasteless. It was really bad. €30 for an omelet, and I'm still hungry! I'm completely disgusted with their business practices. Goodbye forever.

13/07/2026: We were very disappointed with our experience. The pizza tasted more like a tortilla than a real pizza, the vegetable soup wasn’t really a vegetable soup, and only the pasta was okay. When we politely told the staff that we didn’t like the pizza which we had barely touched, they simply argued with us and said, “It’s just your taste,” instead of trying to help. It’s not about the money it’s about the attitude. We left feeling frustrated, which is why we’re leaving this review.

22/05/2026: Absolutely avoid this place if you have a dog! Even a 3kg one. In the sweltering heat, the owner and her cronies refuse to provide a bowl for a dog! The bowl provided is dirty, drooling, sitting in direct sunlight, and empty... I'm not thanking you for the welcome, where the regulars at the bar insult you for good measure... A rinsed bowl for a dog that won't drink from the drooling, smelly bowl provided for all dogs is too much to ask for a local, regular customer. I had lunch there yesterday and I go about ten times a year because I live nearby. I'm not going to congratulate you on your customer loyalty efforts... asking for an extra drink isn't hygienic, according to them, even though all the glassware/dishes should go in the dishwasher (according to the Regional Health Authority), using a product that is, to say the least, "toxic."

17/05/2026: The guy thought we were going to leave without paying, he jumped on us for our money, while the bakery next door called Les Petits Choux is super welcoming. I really don't recommend this restaurant.

19/07/2026: A very nice little restaurant in the heart of the city; we ate very well, and the service was impeccable.

18/07/2026: Good food! I had the pizza italienne and it was very good; very thin bottom and crunchy crust. And then, the Ice cream; home-made, and VERY tasty. We had after eight, praliné, lemon and raspberry. After eight had very much chocolate and fresh mint. Praline had nuts, lemon had lemon zest and raspberry is just raspberry. Prices are very cheap and there is a tarrace for the people who want to sit outside. So in conclusion: good food, service and highly recommended for people who like pizza and burgers.
