25/06/2026: I've never eaten such disgusting mussels; they were probably the last ones served after a long wait and in a group.

18/06/2026: Disappointed, third time here, and it was a bit better before it became so overcooked. The Caesar salad was awful, the butcher's cut was tough... The waiter was friendly, but never again. It's a shame about the decor, but that's not everything!

04/08/2026: A small update to my rating: I don't know if it's related to the holiday period or not, but things have been getting progressively worse these last few months: - The children's menu is getting worse and worse (no more burgers, just two choices in mid-July) (tenders or ground beef) - It was a real struggle to find clean glasses (spoiler alert: we shared one) - No air conditioning - The toppings are adequate (it's Flunch, after all) - Friendly staff (+1 star thanks to them)

01/08/2026: One word: Shameful.... Apart from the cashier who was very smiley and friendly, the rest of the staff... Detestable. And I'm not even talking about the quality of the "buffet," which isn't one at all... It's a pittance; it takes 30 minutes to replenish the few vegetables that are available... On the other hand, three trays of fries and rice reappear instantly—it's magic, you'll see. Disappointed, I won't be back.

23/07/2026: One of the iconic spots for locals. It's where you meet up with acquaintances over coffee and a croissant in the morning or a beer in the evening it's the social hub of Hossegor

20/07/2026: A cult café. Very good coffee and a good cocktail of the day. Service is okay.

07/12/2025: My parents and I came last summer. My galette was burnt. I politely pointed this out to the chef. He retorted that it wasn't possible, saying, "I really don't want to contradict you, but it's not possible..." Twice. Bad experience.

10/09/2025: Excellent crêperie. The products are organic. The galettes and crêpes are very tasty. The welcome is very friendly. The prices are very reasonable for organic food. The setting is charming and traditional. I highly recommend this crêperie.

19/04/2026: The brasserie itself is quite good, but certainly not the best in the area. It does the job, though, and the service is very decent and straightforward. I find the online reviews very harsh; personally, I don't find that to be the case here. It's fine, but you should form your own opinion about the restaurant. It's in a very pleasant and strategic location, near Notre Dame, which is quite nice, and close to the Théâtre du Châtelet, just 2 minutes away. Go there with complete confidence, goodwill, and peace of mind, but above all, be very careful. It caters to all types of people, both European and international. The setting is ideal and very French, attracting many different generations. See you soon in the next review! (It's not too crowded, especially on Sundays; come mid-afternoon.)

19/04/2026: I wanted to share a wonderful experience. Delicious breakfast: omelet with bacon or plain, generous portions. Café au lait — truly excellent coffee. Impeccable service; thank you to the waiter for his assistance in three languages. A surprising place that I highly recommend.

02/07/2026: I often come to Flunch and always leave good reviews, but lately I've found it less clean. At 6:30 pm, some tables hadn't been cleaned, which is a shame because it used to be much cleaner. However, the staff are still very friendly.

20/06/2026: Horrible! The young waiter was awful, ill-mannered, aggressive, and obnoxious; he deserved a good slap on the back of the neck! I strongly advise against going there; there are much better bars and restaurants just a few meters away.

28/07/2026: Lunch this Tuesday, July 29, 2026. Arriving just before the rush without a reservation, I was kindly seated. I received excellent service, despite the crowds filling the restaurant. However, I made the mistake of ordering one savory buckwheat galette and one sweet crêpe: I'm not in Brittany, and I was therefore quite disappointed by these bland treats. On the other hand, the price was very reasonable at €15. I might return to order a more local dish (vegetarian? That's complicated in this region!) or a simple fresh salad. The place is pleasant, and the service was very good considering the circumstances.

22/07/2026: You don't immediately notice this restaurant when strolling through the pedestrian streets... But then a smell catches your eye... the aroma of Époisses cheese tart! Inside, you find yourself in a timeless world! A charming dining room and a terrace to enjoy the cool summer evenings. A simple yet incredibly effective menu. Quick service. Smiling and welcoming staff. Delicious dishes... you stop by chance and return for pleasure.

14/07/2026: The price-quality ratio is quite good for the neighborhood! I'm revising my review: Perhaps it's because of the holidays, but the service has suffered considerably: the main course was served before the aperitif. It's still acceptable, but it's a bit of a letdown. Asking for a detailed bill before paying makes you feel like you're insulting the woman waiting for payment. This is new: an "American-style" payment terminal, basically expecting a tip... We're not in America, after all!

26/07/2026: A very pleasant welcome. The restaurant is very good, the service impeccable, and the setting simple but pleasant. Provide more information to the forklift drivers, as many are unaware of the prices and believe they are exorbitant. A €19 menu is very reasonable. Keep up the good work. See you next year!
