05/07/2026: Very disappointing. Nothing is homemade, and the ingredients are of very poor quality. The foie gras is bad/industrial and uninteresting. The oily frog legs are frozen and imported from Eastern Europe. As for dessert, it's simply store-bought ice cream. The service is completely unprofessional, to the point of being almost comical. The only positive point: the terrace is pleasant and well-shaded. Avoid this restaurant! Outrageous value for money.

16/06/2026: We went there for lunch last May and stayed until closing time (late). Joining the next table (a family gathering for a birthday), everyone came together, laughter was guaranteed, and all of this was accompanied by delicious meals (those frogs' legs, those desserts, everything was simply divine!), thanks to the helpful waitress and the owner who made our day. We're planning a return visit when Belgium comes back down to the area ;)

11/07/2026: Willow gave us a very warm welcome and the service was excellent.

08/07/2026: Another place that was worth a visit back in the Caserne days, but has now become the perfect place to avoid. The concept? €12 for a (very) dry chicken sandwich, a drink, and a dessert. So far, so good. Where it gets really interesting is the "eat-in" surcharge. Paying extra for the privilege of sitting down is audacious. Especially when the "eat-in" experience boils down to a sandwich placed on a plate, whereas before you'd get a proper salad. The "atmosphere" bonus? Everything is dirty, the tables aren't cleared. You'd think it was busy, but no: only four customers in the restaurant. On the other hand, the staff are chatting and laughing loudly. The atmosphere is relaxed, it's a shame the service isn't. In short, avoid it. 😶😶 And Mr. Paul, please come back! 😎😎

29/07/2026: Nice restaurant in a pleasant setting. It's a shame we couldn't enjoy the terrace by the water... reservations were required... I tried to make one, but there was no one to answer the phone.

26/07/2026: The service was appalling; we had to wait forever to order and receive our food, which unfortunately arrived with errors. As a result, we cancelled our dessert order.

17/04/2026: I treated myself to a nice dinner at the end of my week in Nancy. Since it was warm enough, I sat outside. The entrecote was delicious, as were the wine and beer.

23/07/2026: The owner is absolutely detestable and makes sure you know it. Fortunately, the waitress, although a foreigner, does everything she can to be pleasant. The meat is excellent; kudos to the chef and the kitchen.

23/05/2026: A wonderful discovery! The campsite is well located, close to Saint Florent (10-minute walk) and 200 meters from the beach. Very quiet and nicely shaded. The chalets are fantastic! Everything is perfect. The staff is lovely, with a special shout-out to our two receptionists. A truly amazing stay!

23/05/2026: A perfect stay, friendly and attentive staff, not forgetting the two receptionists who were absolutely lovely. This campsite manages to maintain a relaxed and respectful atmosphere. It's quiet, shady, and well-located. I highly recommend it.

10/07/2026: How sad to eat such crêpes in Brittany! Bland, soggy, and sticky, made with low-quality ingredients. The service was no better: only two tables were open, and the waitress was completely lost and didn't know the menu. To top it all off, I ordered a flambéed crêpe for dessert, but I only got half a crêpe, and it wasn't even flambéed. A complete farce!

09/06/2026: Our first vacation in almost 10 years, we chose this hotel on the Alsace Wine Route, and despite the weather, we loved the area. As for the hotel itself, with its regional decor, we can only echo the rave reviews: a warm welcome, a cozy room with a view of the vineyards and Haut-Kœnigsberg. The home-style cooking was perfect. Congratulations to both the chefs and the attentive waiters. Having returned two days ago, we've already recommended this hotel to two other families.

07/06/2026: A very nice hotel with a view of Haut-Koenigsbourg Castle from the room. The room was lovely and very clean, the set menu was excellent, and the breakfast was generous. The staff were professional and approachable. The owner was friendly and took the time to visit each table and chat with the guests. We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. Highly recommended.

26/06/2026: The pizzas are great. The place is cute, and the servers are lovely. Unfortunately, I had the misfortune of meeting the owner and his angelic face. What a shame to spoil such a pleasant face with such a miserable attitude. Sir, I hope you one day find the serenity needed to manage 25 customers and 40 late pizzas without taking your frustrations out on your servers. Perhaps if your mother had breastfed you, you would have been less frustrated. But don't worry about your team; they're fantastic and save the day. Closing the kitchen at 9 p.m. on a World Cup night was audacious; confusing your servers in front of your customers is even more comical. Keep your chin up. Luckily, you have the S, it's great 🫶🏻
