18/05/2026: Fantastic!!! I was treated to a wine pairing tasting, and I loved trying out the different food and wine combinations. We continued with a final glass at the bar; the wine was excellent, and the sommeliers were very attentive to our preferences. We plan to come back… highly recommended!

14/06/2026: The flavour was unbelievable! I had the beef and ravioli, the beef was very tender with an amazing stew sauce very flavourful, the ravioli was fresh and tasted amazing, only wished I can eat this food everyday.

10/05/2026: We relied entirely on the advice of Tripadvisor and Google Maps: what a waste. What was supposed to be the best restaurant of our 4-day trip turned out to be the worst…. How this restaurant ranks 400th out of 20,200 restaurants is a complete mystery to me. People probably arrive in a delirium from the Sacré Coeur. The facts: first the good news: the staff was super friendly. And that is about all the good news. You are crammed together on the terrace. Keep a mobile phone handy, because you won't get a menu. The QR code is the menu. I struggled to get to my table. Two Japanese ladies could have perfectly well eaten from my plate, if they had even wanted to. We ordered onion soup for my wife at €18.50: an ordinary onion soup that you can get 200 meters down for half the price. Reading some of the comments here, I wonder if they have ever eaten onion soup before.... I ordered 6 escargots du chef façon Poulbot for €15.50. I thought I was going to eat something incredible here. Nothing could be further from the truth: canned escargots with a few mushrooms and a sauce… from the chef? And then a completely superfluous streak of Balsamic vinegar on my plate, just a matter of: presentation matters. Afterwards, a salad for my wife: a heap of lettuce swimming in Balsamic vinegar and absolutely not worth the money. For me, the confit de canard. Normally, that is supposed to yield a tender, aromatic leg with a silky smooth texture. None of that was to be seen here. The homemade fries? What was that? A failed potato cut into pieces that had passed through the frying oil 4 times.... When paying the bill, they usually ask how it was.... Here, they only asked if I wanted to leave an extra tip. A word of advice: this is yet another tourist trap. You know you are paying way too much in this area. Go 200m down: much better restaurants at half the price. And for this restaurant, this ranking: ABSOLUTELY NOT.

09/05/2026: A very warm welcome from Alain, impeccable service from Juan-Pablo, and above all, superb quality of the food served. The onion soup is an absolute must-try! All this in a wonderful, friendly, and relaxed atmosphere. A truly outstanding restaurant in Montmartre. Highly recommended.

30/05/2026: Good evening, four of us had dinner. The food was very good, but I'm giving it only one star because of the disappointment with the service/treatment! We ordered fondue for two. We actually received a large pot that we couldn't finish, but since we weren't familiar with the place, we didn't ask questions. We don't eat a lot, so it could have been. Checking the receipt after paying, however, we realized that one amount was double, so it turned out that the waitress, though kind, had made a mistake when ordering and included a fondue for four people! It was their mistake, so we politely asked if there was any way to resolve it. It wasn't fair to pay €50 more (especially since we didn't actually eat those extra portions)! They weren't at all helpful, they just dropped the subject, and bye-bye, we left with a bitter taste in our mouths. I'm not writing this review for the €50 itself, but for the principle and the rudeness. We definitely won't be back, not us, and not even our friends in Nice.

25/05/2026: Today, we had a truly delightful time from beginning to end at the MAISON VERNET restaurant in Le Beage 07. The atmosphere is warm and authentic; you immediately feel at ease. The waitresses are attentive, smiling, and very professional. The owner welcomes his customers with simplicity and friendliness, which gives the place a real soul. And a big congratulations to the chef and her team: excellent, generous dishes prepared with passion. An address I recommend without hesitation.

25/05/2026: A true taste of the region! Connoisseurs will understand, and others will discover it. With special attention to detail, Nicolas checks in the middle of the main course to make sure everything is alright.
