03/09/2024: Entre las comidas que queríamos hacer en Burdeos una era en una crepería. Esta está muy bien situada y cuando pasamos a la hora del almuerzo estaba completamente llena. Así que decidimos ir a cenar. Ofrecen varios menús bastante económicos en los que incluyen dos crepes. Los que elegimos nos parecieron bastante completos. Los crepes ricos y acompañados de abundantes ingredientes de relleno de buena calidad. Lo acompañamos de una botella de vino rosado de la zona. El local es amplio, el servicio amable y rápido y el precio es bastante correcto. Es perfecto para quien vaya buscando este tipo de comida local y no quiera perder excesivo tiempo en la comida.

28/11/2025: In August 2025, we had a wonderful meal, and the staff was very friendly. We'll definitely be back to try the hotel! 👌👍 In November 2025, we enjoyed a gourmet getaway: sauerkraut for dinner, a very quiet apartment for the night, and breakfast with a view of the garden, deer, llamas, pheasants, and chickens. Our only regret was that we weren't hungry enough! A must-see! 🤩

The dishes are generous, flavorful, and prepared with care that is evident in every bite. The service is attentive, friendly, and immediately puts you at ease. You feel right at home, but with the added pleasure of discovering refined and gourmet cuisine. A must-visit for anyone wanting to enjoy a warm and delicious experience in Hohwald.

27/09/2024: We went back to eat there on a Sunday with family and it was really very disappointing. Charred entrecôte and lamb chops, therefore inedible, unacceptable given the price. Even though the waiter did everything possible to sort things out with me... he still offered me a TPE with an American tipping option... are these people walking on their heads?

13/09/2024: Nous retournons dans ce restaurant toujours avec autant de plaisir. L’accueil est agréable. Les mets sont délicieux, avec une jolie présentation. On déguste chaque plat en appréciant la qualité des produits. On peut aussi apercevoir le travail en cuisine . Ce n’est pas trop bruyant, ce qui est appréciable pour pouvoir papoter entre amis … Et cerise sur le gâteau, la note n’est pas trop salée ! ( si je peux me permettre ce genre d’humour…). En résumé, nous aimons beaucoup cet établissement, un vrai restaurant , et je regrette de ne pas en trouver plus comme ça.

30/11/2025: There are both positive and negative aspects to this restaurant: Our table was booked for 6:00 PM, as we were going to an event afterward, which wasn't a problem despite the early hour. We wanted an aperitif beforehand, but unfortunately, it didn't arrive until after the appetizers. The usual carafe of water wasn't offered; instead, we were given (for an extra charge) still mineral water. The meal—three courses—was good; compliments to the chef. What really annoyed me was that the bill was presented unprompted along with the dessert. That's rude and might be acceptable in a street-side pizzeria, but not at this price point. Therefore, only 3 stars.

24/10/2025: Tried it in summer, the terrace is very nice, and in autumn the dining room is warm and cozy! The pork cheek in honey beer sauce with mashed potatoes/sweet potatoes is a real delight, the welcome is perfect, in short, will we come back to the cottage? Of course!!!

21/09/2024: Our experience with the food didn’t get close to (ok). It was recommended to us by a local (friend), but unfortunately the food wasn’t ok. I don’t care much about the quality of the appetizers, but they were fine.. On the other hand, the main course was nothing but a failure. (half chicken). supposed to be their signature dish, but it was very DRY, and we found out that it was cooked 3-4 hours before our arrival and was only heated to us.. We couldn’t believe it.. (duck sausage): nice dish but fits as appetizer not main course. you can’t tell if it’s Duck or something else. Nothing unique about it. Will we come back again?! nope 👎🏻

22/05/2025: One of the best restaurants in Roissy. Cuisine with fresh produce. A menu that changes constantly. From starter to dessert, everything is always tasty, beautifully presented and generous. The team is welcoming and cheerful. Excellent value for money. The owner takes great care of her customers and listens to any suggestions or special requests. I recommend it with my eyes closed.

29/11/2024: In Les Rousses, in the Jura, naturally came to taste a Comté fondue, what was my surprise to find that they only served Swiss fondue! A heresy quickly corrected by crossing the street.

26/06/2025: We found this amazing little sandwich place on a day trip to Antibes. We got 3 sandwiches for €6 each which were generously filled and delicious. We were able to pay €3 more for a dessert and drink. The Nutella banana tiramisu was amazing. Could not recommend this cute little place enough!!!

15/09/2024: Not too many emotions, nice hostel, quality dishes, but you can find all this almost everywhere, the negative note which spoils everything are the prices, in my opinion exorbitant and unjustified for certain dishes, we paid 65€ per person with a bottle of first-price wine at €22. to avoid if you are good eaters. Value for money/quality/quantity 2/5
