03/09/2026: We ordered burgers and they were good! Perfectly fried potato chunks, a little salad, and a nice little sauce. Quality steak. A more substantial dish would have been better to give a more positive review, given that the restaurant focuses on meat, but for lunch, it's worth the price. In any case, I highly recommend it.

10/09/2026: We were three couples at Le Caveau de Verdun and had a truly exceptional evening. The hospitality was wonderful. We especially remember the charming "translation entertainment" for us German-speaking guests. Our host, with his great sense of humor, managed to subtly introduce us to the beautiful French language – delightful and very entertaining! The food was superb: authentic local Burgundy cuisine, absolutely delicious and exactly what we had hoped for on such an evening. And the pitch for the pear brandy was incredibly convincing. A wonderful evening with excellent food, genuine hospitality, and plenty of French charm. This evening will certainly remain a cherished memory for the six of us for a long time. A magnificent evening – thank you so much! And warm regards from Madame Coq au vin! 😂

07/09/2026: The food is excellent; the chef prepared a Coq au Vin and a perfectly roasted pork knuckle. The welcome is very warm! Robert, the owner, offered us a rum and pear digestif that was absolutely divine! I highly recommend it! 5 stars

20/09/2026: A cozy atmosphere, including on the terrace, refined food, and friendly service. The beef carpaccio is particularly delicate, and the catch of the day is fresh (of course) and accompanied by a lovely assortment of vegetables. My only slight reservation is that the chocolate dessert was too sweet for my taste.

03/09/2026: The appetizers were very good, especially the ceviche. The main courses were excellent (foie gras, sea bass, cheese, vanilla cake). One small comment, however, about the seafood that accompanied the fish: it was too small. The Pinot Noir from Jaquin was particularly appreciated!

21/09/2026: Arriving late on a Friday evening without a reservation, I received a warm welcome. The weather allowed me to enjoy the terrace. The server was friendly and attentive, and their helpful advice was much appreciated. This brasserie has a family atmosphere; children, even noisy or very noisy ones, are welcome and happily join in the fun.

02/02/2026: A warm welcome, a greige ambiance with meticulous attention to tableware, an experience unlike any other. You must arrive promptly at 8:00 PM, and from then on, you will discover original and delicious dishes. The show can begin; your taste buds and memory will be tested, as it is very rare for a restaurant of this caliber to surprise you with such a variety of flavors and textures. You'll only want to return with a new menu. The menu is unique, changing monthly, and consists of seven courses. Enjoy it with glasses of wine. Champagne is served upon arrival, and a cocktail is offered with one of the desserts. Truly exceptional. You must experience this chef and his wife, who share their concept with such warmth and passion.

Benjamin, the waiter, is friendly, professional, efficient, and genuinely cares about his customers. The chef clearly wants to please his customers, and it shows. The ingredients are high-quality, and the chef knows how to elevate them. One of the rare establishments where customer satisfaction is the priority. Congratulations to you both, and thank you.

13/06/2026: The setting is simply stunning. Surrounded by floor-to-ceiling glass and overlooking nature in every direction, you almost feel as if you are dining outdoors. It is one of the most beautiful restaurant environments we have experienced, creating a unique sense of calm and connection with the surrounding landscape. The cuisine was excellent and clearly driven by a strong creative vision. What made the meal particularly memorable was how often it sparked discussion at our table. Several dishes combined flavours and textures in unexpected ways, leading to reactions of curiosity and intrigue rather than immediate gratification. The food continually encouraged reflection and conversation, making the experience intellectually engaging from beginning to end. The service was more mixed. At its best, it was warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming. However, the level of professionalism was not always consistent throughout the meal. Some interactions felt polished and thoughtful, while others appeared rushed or lacked the attention to detail one might expect at this level. This occasional inconsistency stood in contrast to the otherwise carefully curated experience. While the cooking showed considerable creativity and complexity, the visual presentation felt relatively understated and rarely became a focal point of the experience. The lasting impression came less from spectacular plating and more from the originality of the flavour combinations and the conversations they inspired. Overall, what we will remember most is the remarkable setting and a menu that constantly challenged expectations. It was a thoughtful, distinctive and highly enjoyable experience that stayed with us long after the meal had ended.

30/05/2026: If this isn’t one of the most beautiful restaurants in the world, I don’t know what possibly could be. Had the lunch tasting menu and it was really unique and interesting. Not every dish was a 10, but I think it was simply a matter of personal preference. You can tell that every plate was had the quality of a 3 Michelin Star restaurant. The flavors are bold and really well executed, which is why I think this is a thoroughly can’t-miss experience when you combine it with the location and setting. For sure a top restaurant in France.

14/09/2026: Not stuffy at all, a very welcoming restaurant with a team that recommends the best of what they have to offer! Please respect the restaurant's closing time because they're so friendly they wouldn't dare kick you out! :) Fantastic experience, thanks to Mohamed and the man with the mustache and his yellow and green liqueur!

12/09/2026: A very disappointing culinary experience, especially considering the prices. The €45 starter consisted of a few small, barely cooked pink shrimp served in a rather bland sauce. The €48 lobster cannelloni was even more disappointing: its texture and taste were more reminiscent of a mass-produced dish than cuisine of this caliber. I only managed a single bite. The side dish, a few mussels in cold broth, was also uninteresting. The fish didn't seem to be of high quality, lacking flavor and served too cold. Furthermore, the portions were very small compared to the prices charged. The only real positive point was the service, which was impeccable, professional, and attentive. In the end, a very poor gastronomic experience and a price-quality ratio that is difficult to understand. I will not be returning and I cannot recommend this restaurant.

17/03/2026: We had dinner at the Ferme de Cupelin restaurant. It was our first time there since the new owners took over. We were surprised to find a set menu of either 6 or 8 courses. We chose the 6-course option. The food was of good quality and well-presented, but we were a little disappointed with the accompanying jus and sauces, as they lacked flavor. The service was very professional, but we preferred the kindness and friendliness of the previous owners. The staff was a bit rushed. We had a pleasant time overall. In previous years, we were regular customers, but with the new management, we might not return.

17/03/2026: This is our second time eating in this little corner of paradise. The service is top-notch, and what can I say about the food... excellent!!!

19/09/2026: A very pleasant experience with attentive staff; the autumn menu was a real treat. The wine pairings were perfect; thank you to the sommelier who described the flavors so well. Thank you to the kitchen staff and the chef. And thank you to the kindness of Mrs. Ducarouge. This was our second visit and we highly recommend this place.
