21/04/2026: Everything was perfect, as always. The welcome, the service, and the generous portions were all excellent. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

14/07/2026: David, the manager, is very unpleasant and treats customers with kid gloves. We called to ask if we needed a reservation (it was match day), and they told us, "No need, first come, first served." Once we arrived, they told us that it wasn't possible without a reservation. We then referred to the call we'd made five minutes earlier, and they suddenly agreed to seat us. They didn't tell us that we were obligated to order food (even though we only wanted drinks), nor did they mention that all drinks were served in pints only, including the sodas (understandable, it was match day, but they should have mentioned it). They even gave us menus, which they immediately took back in a very unprofessional manner (as if the waiter hadn't given them to us...), because only four dishes were on offer that evening. We then asked for a carafe of water to accompany our meal, to which we were told, "We don't serve water. If you're thirsty, order an Evian." On the plus side, though, the location is very nice for watching the match, and the waitress Johanna is lovely and efficient; she handled the service well despite the manager speaking to her extremely rudely on several occasions. The clean-shaven waiter is just as unpleasant as his boss. We do not recommend this place.

22/07/2026: A truly delightful experience in every way. The fish was cooked to a perfection few still know how! If you're in the area, you absolutely must go. Plus, they're open year-round!

I would gladly return with my loved ones. Keep up the good work! Note to the complainers: go stuff yourselves at McDonald's, which is better suited to the refinement of your palate.

06/06/2026: I had reserved a table for myself and two other people. The evening started a little noisy, but it quickly calmed down! The servers were all equally pleasant. We ate as we pleased, and even the dessert that had caught our eye disappeared, just like the rest of the dishes! Thank you for your warm welcome and kindness; we will be back soon!

25/07/2026: Incredible tapas and wine selection. Amazing service - engaging but relaxed and chilled vibe for what can only be described as some of the most exquisite tapas I've ever had. Whole family blown away by the barrata, tuna carpaccio and mini burgers - then came an incredible chocolate pudding and creme brûlée........as you may guess, i highly recommend this place!!

25/07/2026: We live in Europe and dine out frequently, including at many restaurants throughout France. To say that we are very open to many variations on food preparation. We understand that mistakes happen in any kitchen. A single mistake would never have prompted us to write a review like this. Unfortunately, this was not one mistake. It was a complete breakdown in food quality, food safety, and judgment. The evening began well, but everything changed when we were served a raw chicken dish. We politely sent it back. Rather than preparing a fresh dish, the kitchen simply reheated the same chicken and returned it to us, cut exactly as we had left it. That is not an acceptable response to a raw chicken dish. Next, the croquettes arrived with toast that was almost entirely black from being burned. At that point, we had lost confidence in the kitchen and asked for the bill so we could leave. We were then told that six mini burgers were still coming. When they arrived, every burger was served extremely undercooked, with deep red, cool centers that none of us felt were safe to eat—especially after what had already happened with the chicken. By then, this no longer felt like a series of isolated mistakes. Every opportunity to regain our confidence was met with another unacceptable dish. After sending back the raw chicken, the quality of the food only became worse. Whether that was intentional or not, that is the impression we were left with, and it completely ruined what had started as a very enjoyable evening. The atmosphere is excellent, and the staff remained courteous. However, politeness cannot compensate for repeated failures involving food safety. Serving raw chicken is unacceptable. Returning the same chicken after simply reheating it is even more concerning. Following that with burned food and burgers that were all severely undercooked left us with absolutely no confidence in the kitchen. This was one of the most disappointing restaurant experiences we have had in France. ——— We live in Europe and eat out very regularly, including many excellent establishments in France. Whether this was intentional or not, that's the impression we left with, and it completely ruined an evening that had started so well. The restaurant's atmosphere is pleasant, and the staff remained courteous. Unfortunately, this cannot compensate for the repeated issues with the quality of the food and, above all, the food safety.

03/08/2026: What a wondrous dinner, served with personal attention! I highly recommend the tasting menu with pairings so you can let this talented ensemble guide you on a true dining adventure! Each course was a surprising delight, with creative combinations of flavors, but I must single out the profiteroles, which were astonishing!

01/08/2026: We visited Bistrot Instinct for our wedding anniversary and had the tasting menu with accompanying drinks. It was fantastic! Every bite was full of amazing flavour and texture, and was presented beautifully - we particularly enjoyed the beef and the cherry profiterole. The staff were amazing too - friendly, smiley, helpful, knowledgeable and very prompt (no waiting to be served or have plates cleared at all). The restaurant is a super cute little bistrot, most of the tables are upstairs and set around the edges of the room so it feel both cosy and spacious at the same time. The volume was just right (not too loud but not quiet either). Thank you so much Bistrot Instinct, we loved our evening!

09/08/2026: Excellent brunch, a truly relaxing experience. The portions are generous, the service is quick, and the servers are friendly. I highly recommend it! The waiting system means you don't have to wait outside the restaurant and can stroll around Croix-Rousse!

09/08/2026: A must-try and definitely one of my favorite spots! We have to go regularly to try the (frequent) menu changes because everything is so good! Never disappointed at Papa Poule! The "starter + main course + dessert" combo is worth the trip; you'll leave feeling stuffed but wanting to come back! Everything is excellent, the service is impeccable and warm. Whether with friends, family, or for a romantic atmosphere, it's the perfect place!! They can accommodate the dietary restrictions of all guests, which is a real plus. Go there (with a reservation)!!!

04/08/2026: This restaurant is perfect for indecisive people like me: starters and desserts are meant to be shared, only the main course is chosen individually (and there's nothing stopping you from sharing that too). It's very good and very generous, accompanied by good wines, with efficient and pleasant service. Special mention goes to the duck with peas and its excellent side dish.

20/07/2026: Road is less spectacular than my expectations. Other passes-cols in the region are more exciting. Not great views on the top , but still a mitical road for bikers and rallye fans

07/07/2026: Every curve was different, the landscape constantly changing, and that's true for the entire route. I hadn't expected so much greenery in this magnificent natural setting; the fairness of this route makes it truly unique. This route is very manageable for experienced bikers. Beyond the Col de Turini, a section of the Tour de France begins, which is also breathtaking. I have to go back there.
