22/07/2026: Hello, I'm a little disappointed. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich meal, supposedly for €5.95, but in the end they charged me €7.95 by changing my order without warning. My partner's order, a classic one, was changed to an XXL for €8.95 without warning either. I'm not complaining about the extra €5, but I think it's still a mistake!

13/05/2026: I'm not rating the rooms because I only had a family meal there, which was excellent, nothing to complain about.
31/12/2025: Room. Strange smell. Noise from the refrigerator compressors all night, terrible breakfast. No bread or brioche, the staff's response was, "That's just how it is," in a... [unclear] tone.
I don't recommend it.
However, the food was excellent.

This is not far from a Flunch (a French fast-food chain).

02/03/2026: Extremely expensive for very ordinary products, cleanliness that leaves much to be desired, and five employees who sat at the counter chatting and laughing amongst themselves for the entire hour and a half we were there… frankly, what a lack of professionalism! Avoid at all costs!

26/07/2026: Really disappointed, both our fish dishes were so salty we couldn't eat them! And when the waitress came by and asked if everything was alright, I told her we wouldn't finish them, and she replied, "That's perfect!" So, we ended up eating something sweet elsewhere to make up for the meal!
20/07/2026: Kir served lukewarm, tuna not very fresh, undercooked fries, excessively long wait, and subpar service. Avoid!

25/07/2026: I ordered four delicious takeaway pizzas this week! The dough is excellent, the ingredients are fresh, and the service is very friendly! I highly recommend it.

04/05/2026: A simple and comfortable hotel, ideal for a restful night. The welcome is warm and friendly, in a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere. Dinner is hearty, with attentive service and very reasonable prices. A good place to stay for an overnight stop.
02/04/2026: I was really disappointed with the overnight stay; the room was outdated.
The welcome was mediocre, and the restaurant was very basic. As for the buffet, I'd rather not comment on the main course.
Anyway, it's easy to understand: 48 rooms and only 5 people in the restaurant.
It's not a Logis de France hotel, and even at €105, it's unacceptable.

Very good service.
The Swedish sandwich was good and generously filled with chicken.
The apple tart was excellent.
I ordered a Minute Maid orange drink.
All for €11.50. The price is far too high for what you get. It's not worth more than €10.
At that price, you'd be better off spending €2 or €3 more and having lunch at a restaurant.
07/03/2026: I don't understand some of the negative comments at all. This has been my bakery for years, and I've always received a very warm welcome. The team is very pleasant, always smiling, and above all, attentive to customers.
The products are excellent, and you can tell they genuinely care about customer satisfaction. Personally, I've never been disappointed, and I continue to go there with pleasure.
Thank you to the whole team for your hard work and your warm welcome every day!

18/03/2026: The hamburger was completely smashed, the meat was cold, there was a drop of sauce and that was it. I called and they told me next time, I'd give me a discount 🤦♀️ Anyway, I waited 40 minutes for this and in the end I didn't even eat it

21/12/2025: Well, finding an open restaurant on Sunday, December 21st, in the south of Île d'Oléron, seems like a near-impossible feat. The café on the square is open, the welcome is warm, and the service is impeccable. A simple and pleasant moment. A hamburger and fries, a glass of Bordeaux, a coffee, and that's all it takes.
