07/06/2026: The venue is quite large and pleasant, with great potential. Unfortunately, the atmosphere left us with mixed feelings. We got the impression that not everyone was necessarily welcome, which is a shame for an establishment of this type. With a warmer welcome, the experience could be much better.

30/06/2026: Since moving to Reims five or six years ago, it's a place I always want to return to, for several reasons. First, there's the quality of the products. I don't know if you're familiar with many places like this, but Waida remains one of the few in Reims where everything is made on-site, from the bread and pastries to the cakes and savory dishes, which I'd like to discuss separately. Jérôme's cooking is a true art: flavorful and instantly recognizable. Each vegetable retains its taste, shape, and perfect texture. The sauces are sublime, and after all these years, he continues to impress me. Admittedly, the shop sometimes has issues with service, but I prefer to encourage them to improve so that places like this can continue to exist.

02/06/2026: Under the previous owner, we were treated much better! The cooks were quickly overwhelmed! There's a tempting sign on the door, at a great price, but behind the door, you're not greeted. I was there alone, at 1 p.m., looking presentable, with empty tables, but the place was full. Goodbye! Phew! A nice restaurant further on, with a steak tartare cooked to perfection, L'ATELIER, in La Motte-Beuvron.

02/06/2026: The hotel spa was clean, pleasant, and very well designed. Lola at reception was smiling, very friendly, and explained everything to us. There's a hammam, a sauna, a sensory shower, and a tea room, all beautifully decorated and very clean. The spa products are high quality. We highly recommend it and will gladly return.

09/06/2026: Really nice, right across from the train station, the receptionist is super friendly. Excellent value for money.

15/05/2026: A very pleasant welcome. A lovely, generous sharing platter. Unlimited calf's head. Personally, I found the sauce barely seasoned and a bit bland, but overall it was good. The fried small fish was excellent. My only complaint is the frozen and microwaved dessert – it was too ordinary. A homemade tarte tatin is so much better! I'll definitely go back; we had a great time.

11/04/2026: I'm giving it one star because I can't give less. Very disappointed. The mojito was awful, the whisky was dry and watery with ice cubes, three salad leaves cost €2, and the fried smelt was inedible. The service was too slow and unpleasant. The toilet was covered in graffiti. We waited 50 minutes for the bill and had to ask for it again. Apparently, we were bothering the few other customers. Group of 8

18/06/2026: A lovely time on the terrace, near the pool, overlooking a large park. Soothing. The meat needs to be cooked properly. We were able to recharge the car at the parking lot charging station. We'll be back on our return trip :)!

30/06/2026: Unpleasant reception, do not under any circumstances have packages delivered to them, for fear of disturbing them.

29/04/2026: The staff isn't very friendly, let alone helpful. If you have heavy packages delivered to this address, don't expect any assistance, regardless of your age or physical condition. Chivalry and helpfulness are becoming increasingly rare.

15/03/2026: We used to go there, but the owners have forgotten how to say hello. If you arrive and the place isn't cleaned, you're considered a nuisance! Why isn't the cleaning done in the evening? The calf's head wasn't great, and the beef skewer wasn't tender. You ask for wine, and they tell you it's not possible because they're out of glasses... And we've had several problems topping up our Navigo Easy pass.

08/03/2026: The Asian-looking woman at the tobacco shop gave me a terrible welcome. I won't be going back. Credit cards only from €15 and the hot chocolate was disgusting.

29/05/2026: We had occasionally dined at this restaurant with a friend who lives nearby, and we wanted to invite her back, as we had in the past, because we had such fond memories. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment as soon as the main courses arrived. The fries were inedible: very golden on the outside but raw on the inside. It's the first time I've ever been served fries of such poor quality, to the point where I had to leave them on the plate. My wife had the same experience: she left everything, the fries, including the salmon with a saffron sauce, which was also inedible. Our friend, who didn't find it good either, bravely ate part of her plate but didn't finish it. Looking at the reviews, I saw a sign that read: "To avoid waste, portions are rationed. For those with a hearty appetite, feel free to ask for a larger portion." “That made me smile, because in our case, it wasn’t us who generated the waste, but rather the cook with dishes that were inedible. Another telling sign: the parking lot is usually full of trucks and tradespeople’s vans. That day, it was almost empty, despite the constant flow of trucks and tradespeople on the road. Of course, I’m not writing this review without having expressed my dissatisfaction to the waitress and a manager. A small gesture of goodwill was made when we paid, but it doesn’t make up for the poor quality of the food. On our next visit to Saint-Hilaire-de-Briouze, we now know which restaurant to absolutely avoid.”

11/07/2026: Beautiful place, pleasant people. However, the crepes are like bricks! Order the savory crepes instead of the sweet ones.

17/06/2026: Very nice, very well located... but forget about the crepes, they're soggy and tasteless! We like our crepes nice and crispy, with plenty of butter...

07/07/2026: Non-existent service, extremely unpleasant and bitter waiter. This place is absolutely to be avoided; you'll easily find a nicer and more welcoming spot nearby! Avoid it, keep walking!

25/06/2026: We arrived as a group and couldn't even get a chair for our last colleague... The owner deliberately dragged his feet bringing the chair and then yelled at us for helping ourselves! We were about to leave, but out of consideration for the servers who had taken our order, we stayed... Avoid at all costs!

29/07/2026: Ok, the positive first. It was not as bad as many reviews suggest. The service was nice, we did not wait too long and we got what we have ordered. The courgette tasted good. The negative: The cutlery was not clean. The pizza did not taste like pizza. And the lasagne we would better not have taken. The pasta with vegetables was good but not warm.
