03/02/2026: Excellent experience at the Hilton Strasbourg bar. A huge thank you to Ophélie, a fantastic bartender: professional, friendly, efficient, and with a genuine sense of service. The cocktails are perfectly crafted, and the warm welcome truly makes all the difference. You feel comfortable, well-advised, and served with care. I highly recommend it.

09/11/2025: We came for lunch and saw the menu outside. At lunchtime, they only offered a snack menu, which wasn't mentioned on Google or the menu itself. The wait was very long for a snack, which was pre-prepared and cafeteria-style. Coffee was €3.50, the most expensive in the area! Strongly discouraged!

17/06/2026: While visiting Beauval Zoo, we stayed at this hotel. The room was decent, very clean, with a large and functional shower room and comfortable bedding. Breakfast wasn't very varied for the price, but the dining room was very pleasant. The parking was very convenient, and there's a small garden with tables and chairs under the linden trees. It's a shame there wasn't a vending machine. Security was provided all night by a very friendly and professional guard. Disadvantages: the beds were poorly positioned in relation to the lighting, the room was dark, there were stairs to climb to reach the two upper floors, and there was a lot of traffic on the roundabout, so it was noisy if you left the windows open. Once closed, you could barely hear anything. Advantages: proximity to the park, and the same goes for Saint-Aignan, which is a lovely town with nice and affordable restaurants. The room price was a bit high, but it's Beauval. Go for it, it's still good and the cheapest hotel in the group.

15/06/2026: Hello, The rooms were clean and spacious, but there was a lack of storage space, as it wasn't available in all rooms. Breakfast was very meager; if you wanted more bread, it was absolutely impossible (a small basket with just enough for each person!). There was no still water that day. And for fruit, there were only a few apples and bananas, nothing else...

16/06/2026: What a disappointment! We thought we'd found a nice little canteen with a terrace… Well, the food wasn't bad, but the service and welcome were the worst I've ever experienced. You get the feeling you're bothering the manager, who is incredibly unpleasant and does nothing but complain and grumble, and is in a hurry to sell the business because she's "fed up" 😅

16/06/2026: Run away! The food is decent, but the owner is unbearable, cantankerous, unpleasant, rude, and the list goes on. Go give your money to restaurants that know how to treat you.

13/05/2026: As a regular at both the restaurant and salad bar, here are my comments: - Restaurant: I highly recommend it. The dishes are tasty and made with good ingredients, with some options that are a bit different from the usual fare. The service is good and the wait is reasonable! It's great to have a restaurant like this in the neighborhood. - Salad bar: The ingredients seem fresh and the pre-prepared dishes are quite good and varied. However, my disappointment with the salad bar is growing with each visit, as the portions are getting smaller and smaller. On my last visit, I could barely see the bottom of my container, even though I chose a pasta base and selected four ingredients. I found that rather meager (it's usually quite generous). At the price of the salad, you expect to be satisfied, which is increasingly less the case. Thank you for taking this negative point into account and best of luck.

27/07/2026: The welcome was particularly unpleasant. I can understand that the toilets might be out of order. However, the complete lack of courtesy and consideration is hardly acceptable. A simple hello and a polite response cost nothing. I will not be returning.

15/06/2026: This breakfast was my one of my favorite meals during my time in Paris. I’ll be dreaming about this for years to come. Can’t wait to go back.

08/03/2026: Interesting promotions, but be warned, if you have a pet… it’s €30 per night. I still haven’t gotten over that astronomical amount. For me, it meant €30 for my wife, €30 for me, and €30 for our 10kg dog.

05/03/2026: Had a great stay here for a couple of nights. The property is on the outskirts of the city and within a quick drive to Poitiers. There is a large retail park too within a 5 min drive. The room itself was very comfortable and spacious with. Smart TV to keep the kids entertained. Rooms were all clean and tidy. Slight issues with the day 2 clean as the sheets weren’t changed (had asked for it in the morning) and tea/coffee set not refilled (with no cups at all). But it was all resolved after we spoke to their friendly and helpful staff later in the day. Breakfast buffet was very good and tasty with a large spread Is cheese and cold cuts to supplement the hot food. And the restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful with glass all around. Would be back.

03/04/2026: The reception was unfriendly. The waitress was very rude. The food (two salads, one with ham, the second without) cost 40 euros. Really mediocre, but above all very unfriendly due to the waitress.

28/03/2026: Unacceptable experience at Le Select restaurant. First visit at 2:30 pm: a woman at the entrance, cigarette in hand, introduced herself as “the owner” and curtly turned us away, saying the kitchen was closed. We returned the next day at 1 pm. This time, a man (the actual owner) greeted us properly and confirmed we could have lunch. We sat down… and that's when the absurdity began: after nearly an hour's wait, the same woman arrived and started arguing violently with the owner in front of the other customers. Then she came to us, cold and aggressive, to insist that we would only have salads, no fries, because, according to her, the kitchen was closed. No coherent explanation, no sense of service. Result: €40 for two plates of green salad (one of which contained a little pork), with no welcome, no service, and no respect. This person's behavior is simply outrageous: unpleasant, bossy, and completely unsuitable for the restaurant industry. She seems to decide everything that happens in the restaurant on her own, with complete disregard for the customer… and even the owner. It's especially unfortunate for the owner, who seems decent but clearly lets this person call the shots. Avoid this place while this situation continues.

24/07/2026: Honestly, 20 minutes for two coffees, and on top of that, we got yelled at by the overly familiar, even swearing, waiter during the service. Unbelievable! And then you take four months to explain yourselves! No, it's truly unacceptable. I knew your predecessors well, and they never behaved like this, even during peak hours as you claim.

21/07/2026: Pleasant lunch, terrible salmon. The waitress spoke to her manager, but no action was taken. Unpleasant attitude. Avoid at all costs.

09/08/2026: Excellent value for money. Very friendly and unpretentious service. Everything is done with a smile. Impeccable quality of food. And the view of the port is an added bonus. Well done to the team, and we don't understand the negative reviews.

06/08/2026: For a busy August, we had good service. The oysters were delicious, as were all the other dishes. We opted for the €32 package, which includes an entree, a main course, and a dessert. Everything was good. A great experience. The young waitress was really good and kind.

11/06/2026: Due to the rail strike, my train was cancelled, and I cancelled my reservation. Having prepaid, the fare conditions do not provide for a refund. I contacted the hotel by email to reschedule, but without success, as my cancellation was made too late. Since SNCF only notifies its customers 48 hours before departure, it's difficult to anticipate a cancellation! My scheduled business meeting has been postponed until early July, so I will avoid booking a room in an Accor hotel. I am also considering cancelling a pending reservation for Paris for July 2nd and 3rd. At over €200 per night, I was hoping for some kind of compensation from the Accor group; oh well!

11/06/2026: Quality budget hotel where everything essential works. Not the wifi which is miserable. Almost enough hangers, hooks and shelves. The shower hanger could be better. Thanks for the good breakfast. Perhaps worth noting that there are two Ibis Part-Dieu hotels in Lyon. We went first to the wrong one. Both are within walking distance from the Part-Dieu railway station.

02/07/2026: €7.50 for a coffee, a croissant, and an apple turnover. That's €2.50 per item, or I got ripped off.

31/07/2026: Shrimp and oysters with tartare made us both sick. When I went to the restroom, I noticed the oysters had been opened beforehand; they had no flavor. Avoid this.

28/07/2026: Superb fish and seafood restaurant. Welcoming and attentive service. Beautifully presented dishes. Delicious homemade desserts. Friendly staff. Thank you.
