23/05/2026: Deplorable reception and service

19/05/2026: We had a package for two nights including breakfast and dinner. The first evening, there wasn't much available despite the menu. Those who arrived last had no choice left. The quality of the food was very poor, except for breakfast. The next day, we didn't have dinner because apparently they hadn't received their delivery and had no supplies. The room was adequate, but it hadn't been cleaned. There were problems with the access badge every evening... The management was absolutely terrible; the worst Campanile I've ever stayed in!

02/08/2026: The food was excellent. The staff were very friendly and smiling, always striving to please their customers. A delight in every way.

19/07/2026: Rude, unpleasant, that was the first and the last time.

15/05/2026: The bedding was very average and the room could use a refresh. That said, it was clean. We were on half-board. The soup was delicious and very filling. But even after a long hike, the meal was far too heavy: a starter after the soup, then a large sauerkraut, then a tart. The sauerkraut was frankly a disaster, with undercooked potatoes in particular. A shame. They should have made less, but better.

11/05/2026: Regarding the restaurant only: very disappointing compared to a few years ago in terms of the quality of the food offered...is it because it wasn't peak winter or summer season? We had lunch on a Saturday in May (the weekend of May 8th) with beautiful weather, but the dining room was completely empty between 12:00 and 1:30 pm. The dish (onion tart) was clearly not fresh, poorly reheated in the microwave, with industrial tomato sauce covering the fleischnakas, and the blueberry tart was also not fresh...with high prices, and to top it all off! Upon checking, the bill showed three errors in the prices, all in their favor. The explanation given: "I haven't had time to change the prices on the menu"...yeah, right...! We demanded a refund. We certainly won't be going back, even though we had fond memories of it and were happy to return...but that was before...

21/02/2026: Quiet atmosphere, drinks only available in winter, nothing to eat

03/08/2026: Restaurant with a small outdoor terrace; you have to be comfortable eating close to other people. The wait was quite long for an aperitif (only one waitress). Another young woman behind the bar didn't make any effort to serve the customer or help her colleague; you had time to die of thirst 🤣. We were saved by the starter and the mussels, which were very good and well-cooked!! Good value for money. We might come back 😉

29/07/2026: Excellent service, good food, welcoming and efficient waitresses

02/07/2026: Passing through Marseillan, I stopped at the tavern located at the port. I had a wonderful time. I ordered a very high-quality piece of beef accompanied by perfectly cooked potatoes and grilled vegetables, which were excellent, along with a very good rosé wine and a vanilla and strawberry ice cream sundae for dessert. The service was truly top-notch from the entire tavern team. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I highly recommend it.

26/05/2026: During our visit to Marseillan, we stopped at La Taverne du Port and we don't regret it at all 😋 We had a starter where the duck breast was melt-in-your-mouth tender and very flavorful, followed by a perfectly cooked skate wing with a very soothing sauce. The chef came to us to offer advice, and the waitress was very attentive. This establishment is more than adequate. Thank you, and good value for money.

24/07/2026: The location is perfect! Guaranteed sunset! Linguine with scallops and langoustine bisque: absolutely delicious! Generous and flavorful cuisine! Beautiful scallops and, as a surprise, succulent langoustines! Top-notch service! Perfect! We highly recommend it! Run and discover this place!

24/07/2026: A beautiful view, very good dishes with lovely presentation and delicious flavors. We had oysters, salmon tartare, and sardines—excellent!

17/05/2026: The toilet leaked from the room; breakfast was eaten quickly; the waiter forgot to wake up.

26/05/2026: This was our second or third time going there as a family, and on Saturday night they charged us adult prices for my two-year-old daughter, who obviously doesn't eat like an adult! We mentioned it at the till, and the owner's response was, "That's just how it is!" It's outrageous and not very customer-friendly! The main courses are generally good, but all the desserts are frozen.

22/05/2026: No choice at the grill stand today, for the rest it's a lottery as usual, some good stuff and some not so great stuff, hard to guess

06/06/2026: Delicious lunch near the harbor. The fries were a little soft, but tasted good.

05/07/2026: I bought two vegetable patties. It was the end of the day, before closing time. There was one plain patty left. The cashier offered it to me, saying, "Would you like to try it? You'll see, it's delicious warmed up with honey or something else." The way she offered it made me think she was giving it to me (since they were about to close), but of course I paid for it. And it was inedible! Hard and dry, fit only for the bin. What a rip-off! I won't be going back anytime soon.

15/04/2026: Extremely expensive for what we ate. It was good, but 200 euros for 2 adults and 2 children is still very, very expensive. The food was good but expensive…

14/04/2026: The worrying thing about end of season Avoriaz is that very few of the restaurants are open. However fear not because Les Fontaines Blanches is probably one of the best places to eat in the Haut Savoie. Great staff who are warm and welcoming. It is easy to catch their eye when you need something. The quality of the food is sublime. Our party had: Entrecote aux morelles, (ribeye in mushroom sauce) which was tender and tasty. Tartiflette had a thick cheese and perfect crust, loaded with bacon. Escalope Savoyarde was tender chicken with a layer of ham and cream cheese in a cheese sauce, so delicious. Somebody in the kitchen cares about their customers experience. Yes its a bit more expensive, but so worth it.

28/07/2026: The food was excellent, but despite two reminders, we were forgotten about the side dish.

27/07/2026: So this (€21) is a charcuterie board. I think that settles it.
