01/05/2026: We only dined at the restaurant, which was plentiful and very good. One small issue: some of the frogs' legs weren't cooked enough. The service was excellent, and the staff were pleasant. The terrace offers a lovely view. For a full meal, including aperitifs, wine, and dessert, expect to pay around sixty euros per person. A small but very sincere "Bravo!"

01/09/2026: Plant-based options: yes, but no choice… I asked for plant-based milk and received no information about what it was; I could have a soy allergy or something else :( The chai was also very bland, so I was disappointed! I won't be going back.

11/10/2026: Frankly, I was very displeased with the way I was treated. My friend waited two hours for me and ordered drinks. When I came to get her, I asked for a paper napkin and was told there weren't any, even though several tables had them everywhere. I asked again, and this time they told me they were only for sandwiches or for eating. I explained that my friend had been drinking for two hours, and then they gave me a tiny napkin, barely 10cm by 10cm. Is this really where we've come to? Honestly, it's pathetic. I don't even want to imagine what would have happened if I'd asked to use the restroom or for a glass of water. I certainly won't be going back.

15/09/2026: The overall atmosphere is good, the waitress is super welcoming, but her colleague is the complete opposite!!

08/10/2026: I didn't appreciate the manager's lack of professionalism. Communication and customer relations were questionable. Also, the fries were tasteless. Only one star, which goes to the delivery driver.

14/08/2026: Horrible, disgusting 🤮 Avoid at all costs! The fries are frozen solid. I didn't order ice cream with fries, and they serve us spoiled food, treating us like Dobermans! Run away!!!

22/10/2026: I usually go there and I find the atmosphere very nice.

17/10/2026: The dishes were sorely lacking in vegetables, otherwise the food was decent, the service amateurish, could be better, and the variety of wines by the glass was a plus. It's a shame about the unpleasant cigarette smell, even inside.

12/10/2026: Unacceptable! The women's team is very nice, but the men's team treats women like pieces of meat, especially that dark-haired guy who's hunting with his beret.

28/10/2026: The waiter who took our order was quite rude. Halfway through taking our order, he abruptly told us that each person could order only one dish and directed us to the woman at the entrance, handling the situation in an unnecessarily impolite manner. We decided to leave without ordering anything. I definitely do not recommend this place. We were originally planning to dine as a group of four, and we were even considering ordering a bottle of wine. However, despite the initial situation appearing to be handled reasonably well, the overall attitude and approach of the staff member who later came to welcome guests at the entrance completely put us off. As a result, we decided not to order anything at all. This is exactly what happens when customers feel pressured rather than genuinely welcomed. Instead of encouraging people to order, such an attitude can make them lose their appetite, decide against ordering anything, and even leave without eating, despite having intended to dine at the restaurant. The management urgently needs to reconsider this approach and address the way guests are treated. Making customers feel welcome is far more effective than pressuring them to order. A restaurant should create an atmosphere that makes people want to stay, enjoy their meal, and spend money willingly—not one that drives them away.

18/10/2026: We went there last night for dinner. The food was delicious and the restaurant was clean. Unfortunately, the hostess and waiter were dreadful. They were rude and inattentive. We also witnessed them being very rude to some American tourists. It was very unprofessional and disappointing. Why was the hostess even handling the dining room service?

05/10/2026: L’Ami Louis is an interesting experience that feels like stepping into old Paris. The atmosphere is distinctive and full of character, and the food is good, although in my view it does not quite justify the very high prices. The standout dishes were the veal steak and the roasted chicken, both very well executed. Portions are also exceptionally generous, so this is definitely something to keep in mind when ordering. Worth visiting for the atmosphere and the experience, but the value for money is difficult to justify on the food alone.
