I loved your unique venue, the atmosphere, and your magnificent tables made from tractors. It's such a comfortable place. The lasagna was also delicious. 13/08/2026: A new concept has opened in the old post office in the village of La Salvetat-sur-Agout: Here you can enjoy over thirty bottled beers and nine on tap, wines by the glass or bottle, while savoring stuffed tomatoes, lasagna, and, at lunchtime, fresh pasta with homemade sauces... A real treat! On Thursday evenings during the season, Emilien makes cocktails, including the famous "Nectar of the Gods," which is excellent and refreshing. All the products are locally sourced, and we had a wonderful time listening to a gypsy jazz concert. The rum, whisky, and gin list is also very well-stocked to round off your meal.

31/10/2026: Lunch two days ago: Casserole with bacon, but without bacon, with ham, risotto, mussels and shrimp (mussels from a jar, and supermarket cocktail shrimp). Moving on to the main courses: monkfish stew, half the pieces were still raw, and a flank steak—I admit it's difficult to cook, but it wasn't right. It was sent back; it came back much overcooked and wasn't a good cut of meat. There were supposed to be new potatoes, which I found much too large, and with the potatoes, there were supposed to be roasted tomatoes, but I didn't get any fresh tomatoes. No one warned us; we had to ask for water. We asked for bread, which we never received. We also had to ask for the glass of wine we ordered with the meal. On the other hand, the gourmet coffee was very good and I note that the digestif was offered, but that does not compensate for two dishes at €25 and 2 starters at €15.

25/10/2026: Disappointed with this visit; frozen bread and a very limited lunch menu. I had very fond memories of this restaurant; perhaps it was just an off day.

21/09/2026: A strategic bakery in the neighborhood, thankfully it's there in the evening when we need it! The pastries could use a little more chocolate, but a big thank you for the work you do, even at night; we need more resilient businesses in this district.

15/08/2026: The place is nicely decorated and quite well lit. The staff is rather friendly. I've eaten there a few times and found the food very good and plentiful. Plus, it stays open quite late, which is convenient for night owls. Looking forward to seeing you again.

13/06/2026: A very bad experience. We came with friends simply to have a drink and a good time, but everything went very wrong. The waitress was unfriendly and came back four or five times to ask for our order again, as if she hadn't even written it down. Furthermore, on three separate occasions, she told us that some of the cocktails or spirits we ordered weren't available, even though they were listed on the menu. The most disappointing part was the wait: after 40 minutes, we still hadn't been served. Faced with this lack of organization and consideration for customers, we finally decided to leave.

29/07/2026: Great location. Lovely common area amenities, I loved being able to have breakfast on the terrace. The staff were all wonderful. I met the same gentleman at reception who checked me in and out; he was kind and efficient with all the requests I had during my stay.

20/07/2026: Excellent, just 15mins walk from the train station, near the Westfield mall. The receptionist was very very kind to let me check in early when the room is available. Room is spacious, clean and with necessities provided. My room situated away from the main road so I didn’t get so much noise from the street. The shower pressure is great, enjoyed every single drop of water while taking shower. I would definitely stay here again when I come to Lyon.

17/06/2026: We just had an absolutely perfect stay at the Les Herbes Folles hotel-restaurant on the Île de Batz; after reading some of the reviews, I wonder if we were even at the same establishment! First of all, the rooms, recently renovated with chic and understated decor, were remarkably clean and, of course, offered a superb sea view! Then there was the restaurant: delicious meals featuring fresh, local produce, beautifully presented – a real treat! And finally, our host, a very efficient, kind, and helpful woman who clearly knows her job inside and out. I highly recommend a holiday at this hotel! Thank you to the entire team for this relaxing break!

31/10/2026: The service is dreadful, it couldn't be more unpleasant, but the coffee is good and, most importantly, you can work remotely all day. You just need to free up the tables for lunch and use the high tables.

25/10/2026: It's a shame to see this place go downhill. They used to be nice. We brought our friends here to show them the neighborhood they'd just moved into. We were greeted with panic and a confrontational tone, even before we'd decided whether to have our drinks there or to go. They asked us first and then immediately told us we couldn't stay anyway because it was packed. No problem. Then came a series of imaginary restrictions—no filter coffee to go (why not? Because it's not expensive enough?). Is a long black the same as an Americano? No dirty chai, but no problem making a chai and an espresso on the side. Apparently, they don't mind wasting the takeaway cups either. They have no problem overloading the place, but their service can't keep up. An Americano = 1 shot of coffee + 2 shots of water An Americano = 2 shots of coffee + 4 shots of water They're simply not comparable. And this is in a place that specializes in coffee. I've never had an interaction like this in this café before. I also can't help but think it was because the interaction was in English. €40 and up to leave with things that aren't up to standard. Anyway, all this to say they need to do better.

16/10/2026: We stopped for a drink without eating, but the cocktail and beer were very good.

11/10/2026: Tasteless pancakes (hard pasta, an astronomical amount of melted cheese, no flavor). Keep walking

09/09/2026: We came to this café for three days during a business trip. The first two days were fine, but the service on the last day definitely put us off. We arrived very early, with about forty tables available. We were criticized for not saying hello to the man at the reception desk, when we simply hadn't heard him. We sat down and ordered a coffee before hitting the road again. A woman then came to tell us that we needed to "order more" and that I had to remove my bottle of Cristaline water from the table because it came from the bakery next door. With so many empty tables and customers who had been patrons for several days in a row, a little more customer service and courtesy would have been appreciated. It's a shame, because out of three days, this last experience is what we'll remember.

09/09/2026: Very disappointing. We really didn't enjoy the experience, and instead of trying to understand what was wrong, we were simply asked to leave. The welcome and the way the situation was handled were frankly unpleasant. It completely ruined the experience. I do not recommend it.

11/09/2026: We were served by a very pleasant young waitress, a new employee. There's a 10% surcharge on drinks consumed on the premises. We were enjoying our meal when the owner suddenly stood in front of us to check our tray and announced there was a mistake, demanding an additional charge of €3.30. We recalculated our bill and found the error was only €2.42. The difference is due to the fact that the 10% surcharge is added to each item, rounding up to the nearest euro. We simply applied the 10% to the total without rounding, knowing that 1 and 2 cent coins are still in use. All this to say that this person isn't very transparent in her accounting or pricing displays, and above all, she's very unpleasant and suspicious of her staff. It's no wonder the young employee makes mistakes under the pressure the owner puts on her, scrutinizing her every move. Good luck to her!

11/10/2026: The food is decent but not exceptional. The fries are very good. It's generally the only place in Cognac where you can get moules frites (mussels and fries). The service needs improvement, as most of the waiters and waitresses spend their time chatting amongst themselves rather than paying attention to the customers.

03/10/2026: Friendly place in the city centre of Cognac. Great value for money.

08/10/2026: This is our go-to place when we work in the area. The food is good, the service is quick and always with a smile. Perfect for lunchtime.

11/09/2026: I never miss having lunch at this brasserie when I'm in the neighborhood. Draft beer, egg mayonnaise, AAAAA andouillette sausage with fries, and chocolate mousse are an unchanging ritual. The staff is very friendly and the quality is consistently high.
