03/07/2025: "The Chef who has two left arms??? Seriously, at no time did I see him use his right arm while the room was packed. I'm willing to be tolerant, but unfortunately we came on a Thursday when there was couscous, and unfortunately, a starter/main course for less than 15 euros didn't work with a burger. In short, 25.40 euros for a poor burger with disgusting industrial sauce and an all-you-can-eat starter, also industrial, plus a beer, all that to wait for an hour and a half. Seriously, reconsider...." The text I just posted is a follow-up to a Facebook post, but they banned me immediately. Seriously, go to Barnabé's, which is nearby, and I'm not from the area at all. I have no interest in trashing a restaurant, just warning future customers. I just usually eat at the Brasserie Luce in Ste Luce sur Loire which is on the opposite side, at least you will know what it is like to be well received and to eat well.

12/04/2026: The waiter was extremely unpleasant and didn't know the basics of politeness.

03/04/2026: The atmosphere is nice, you can eat on the terrace with a view. The staff is friendly enough. The food leaves much to be desired... the quiche was burnt, and the lasagna tasted like a frozen one.

03/06/2026: I can't believe the terrible service we received today, June 2nd, 2026, at 9:30 am 🤬🤬🤬 We waited 10 minutes, and then when a French customer came in and sat near us, they served him immediately and ignored us. Of course we left. The waiters were awful. DON'T GO IF YOU'RE NOT PARISIAN!!!

19/05/2026: A very chic place, a very warm welcome, impeccable service, and the dishes are very appetizing; I highly recommend it.

31/07/2026: Ate here twice the past 2 weeks. You sit here beautifully on the promenade with views of the harbor. Both times i ordered Moules Frites. The first time i ordered the standard and the mussels were kinda small but that must be the bad harvest since other places had small mussels aswell. The second time i ordered the roquefort mussels and the taste was amazing. Yet again small mussels but that doesnt matter when it tastes good! You get it served with bread and fries. The service is pretty fast and you dont have to wait too long for your food. The ice cream is also really good. I would recommend this place!

29/07/2026: The waiters and the owner didn't seem unpleasant to me, and we had a good meal overlooking the marina.

23/07/2026: The food was delicious and plentiful! The service was very welcoming! I will definitely return and recommend it without hesitation!

16/07/2026: I couldn't possibly be objective about this café! I've known it for at least 20 years! For me, it's the best in Bastille! I don't go anywhere else... why? It's run by friends who offer excellent food in an impeccable setting! The staff is welcoming without being pretentious, attentive, and quick! Since the opera house is across the street, the evenings of dress rehearsals and premieres create an incredible atmosphere with the opera staff and orchestra, who have made it a true artistic headquarters!

25/05/2026: The waitress was very unpleasant. The wait was long considering how few people were there. It was very dirty. An internship at the Louvroil branch might be beneficial, if only for the smile and the welcoming atmosphere.

05/07/2026: Worst experience on our Mare a Monti hike, and we didn't have much of a choice... The accommodation is beyond outdated, and the cleanliness leaves much to be desired... Sheets not changed, filth, clogged sink and shower, breakfast consisting of stale bread and jam (from previous guests' jars in the fridge). An experience we wish we hadn't had. What a shame, because the owner is very friendly, but such accommodation cannot be offered at the price we paid; it's exorbitant. The value for money is catastrophic... Something must be done to save this gîte, which could be wonderful, and the Mare a Monti trail, which is so beautiful!

20/06/2026: Thank you so much for this wonderful evening. The meal was excellent. We loved this place, so full of warmth and humanity. Well done to Paul and his entire team who keep this charming village thriving.

27/07/2026: I didn't enjoy the meal at all. The pizzas were small and the crust was hard; I didn't understand why. Even the cheese had no flavor.

15/06/2026: Wonderful family restaurant. Delicious dishes, wood-fired pizza, delicious desserts, and drinks. Good service, polite staff. Beautiful atmosphere and interior.

18/07/2026: We went there several times during our week-long holiday. We were always warmly welcomed, with much-appreciated touches and varied, delicious, and generous €25 set menus. The service was quick and impeccable. We will gladly return next year.

06/06/2026: We've never ordered Domino's before, so we thought why not give it a try. We ordered two pizzas and received two pizzas that weren't ours! 😂 Thanks, we tried it, but we won't be back, that's for sure.

06/06/2026: Ordered a bacon groovy and a pepperoni, didn't check because we trusted them. But what a joke when we opened the pizza box!!! So embarrassing.

24/12/2025: Lovely staff. Beautiful fire place with real logs. Nice place to stop for a drink after skiing

18/07/2026: I came to eat with my family last night, and the staff was unpleasant. I didn't even have time to eat my starter before the buzzer went off, even though I'd like to point out that they could at least wait 15 minutes for our starter. My plate wasn't even hot; I could hear people asking for their plates to be warmed up because they were cold. They told him he couldn't reheat them, so I didn't even ask. I had to eat my cold plate. The staff is very unpleasant; we couldn't even enjoy our meal as a family. It's nice to have a new restaurant, but the quality isn't the same, and neither is the staff.

18/07/2026: Honestly, the ribeye steak was really bad for the price; it's expensive and not great. I won't be going back.

22/07/2026: Reservation at 12:15 PM, still no entry at 1:00 PM. Terrible service and unpleasant waiter. Avoid at all costs

15/07/2026: While the service and food are good, the place is very run-down. The blinds are broken and haven't been replaced, and the flowerpots are empty. The interior is in need of renovation. Everything is outdated and requires a complete overhaul. This restaurant's standards are no longer in line with current trends.
