15/07/2026: We wanted to stop for a drink and some ice cream on our way back from hiking. We waited for over 20 minutes without anyone paying us any attention. Unable to stand it any longer, I went to the restroom; it was dirty and there was no toilet paper. We got fed up with waiting, so we finally left and we won't be going back.

14/07/2026: Arrived at 2:45 PM for a meal for four. Superb welcome, the waiter was very attentive. The meals were excellent, and the restaurant catered to the children's requests. I highly recommend this establishment.

15/04/2026: As a loyal customer, I wanted to share my opinion because, despite some positive aspects, my overall experience has been disappointing. The cakes are undeniably delicious, which is why I come back regularly. However, several recurring problems spoil the experience. First, I've been disappointed on several occasions by the personalized lettering on the cakes. Whether it's mistakes, a sloppy presentation, or a result that doesn't match my request at all, it's particularly frustrating, especially for important occasions. Second, I've noticed a lack of consistency in the quality of the products: runny icing, sloppy finishing touches… and even, at one birthday party, a completely burnt puff pastry. This kind of mistake is hardly acceptable for a pastry shop. Another regrettable point is the frequent staff turnover, which gives an impression of disorganization and clearly undermines the consistency of the service. What's most disappointing is the lack of consideration for loyal customers. I went to the store to voice my concerns, but I wasn't taken seriously. I was told to send an email, which I did… and more than six months later, I still haven't received a reply. It's a real shame, because there's potential, but today the lack of follow-up, rigor, and customer service leaves me with a very negative impression. In short: good products in principle, but too many inconsistencies and a failing customer service department. Very disappointed.

01/07/2026: Very disappointing. We went there to buy two cheese pretzels. One of the pretzels fell, but we were still served. The price was listed at €1.90, but we paid €4.40. Not having the correct amount, we went back to ask for our change. We weren't taken seriously; the staff coldly implied that we were being silly and that our accusations were serious, as if we had accused the cashier of being a scammer. Furthermore, the pretzel was actually €2.20, and since there was no price displayed, we had no way of knowing. Avoid at all costs!

02/08/2026: Charming and welcoming place. A nice table near the misting fan kept us very cool. The service was quick upon arrival but a little slower for dessert… the only slight downside. Otherwise, the food is excellent. I highly recommend it.

24/05/2026: We wanted to book Chez Marion – a lovely hotel – for the Pentecost weekend, but the establishment appears to be closed. No one answers the phone and everything is shut down.

01/05/2026: Booked directly a week before May 1st for one night, April 30th. Arrived at the hotel at 4:00 PM, closed; at 6:00 PM, still closed, no one there. No one answered the phone and no response 😵‍💫 We found a room in Cabourg at the last minute at 7:00 PM. We were with a child, an elderly woman, and two dogs... So ZERO stars!!!

30/04/2026: The setting is nice, yes. But apart from that, everything else is a failure. No service worth mentioning: no toothbrush, very few amenities, no shuttle, and a location 3 km from the center that quickly becomes a problem when nothing is provided to compensate. But the worst part is the soundproofing, or rather, its complete lack thereof. You can hear absolutely everything, constantly: the slightest noise in the hallway, conversations in neighboring rooms, footsteps upstairs… absolutely everything. Sleeping in this hotel is a feat. A hotel is supposed to be a place of rest; here, it's the complete opposite. We endured a wedding with intoxicated guests: shouting, slamming doors, coming and going all night long. The result: a sleepless night. At €350 a night, it's simply outrageous. And as if that weren't enough, customer service is nonexistent. A manager was supposed to call us back on Monday: no call. We called again on Tuesday, they promised Wednesday: nothing. We called again on Wednesday, they mentioned Thursday: still nothing. At this point, it's not just an oversight, it's pure and simple contempt. We clearly feel like we're being treated like walking wallets. This establishment is completely unworthy of the reputation it claims to uphold.

21/07/2026: The daily special was cooked to perfection, thank you for the chicken, homemade fries were an extra. They serve until late. Unbeatable value for money, €14 for the daily special. Friendly service that does its job. Just a few annoying wasps.

01/07/2026: Hello Mr. David Patte, How I wish I had your position as assistant manager! Either your bosses want to close this place down, or there's a complete lack of care in charge! We had promised ourselves we wouldn't go back to this establishment after a bad experience last year in Morbihan. Tonight, five of us arrived and, without checking any reviews, we thought, "Let's go." What a mistake! The first signs should have sent us running... The food on the counters already looked very dry, as did the rustic bread. One of us ordered two eggs for €2.40, which is normal, with three sliced ​​peppers, plus €3.95—yes, that's the price of the container the eggs were in! The charcuterie platter was certainly leftovers from lunch (which is against the rules). And the tiramisu, supposedly made with mascarpone, was nothing but industrial powder! Having run out of andouillette and mixed grill, I was advised to order the ribeye steak, but despite being cooked rare, it was inedible! And to top it all off, the staff's friendliness and the overall cleanliness of the place were also lacking! I'll be in the center tomorrow morning and I'm ready to explain myself in person.
