22/07/2026: Tasteless sausage, tomato sauce served as a substitute for a tomato soup, a very unpleasant waitress with short hair who addressed me informally as soon as I arrived, didn't smile at all, and spoke very aggressively.

08/05/2026: Simple, home-style cooking, just the way we like it. The portions are generous, like what Mom or Grandma used to make for the younger generation. Thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome. I recommend stopping by to enjoy the fresh air on the indoor terrace.

15/04/2026: I'd never been to this restaurant since I started working in the area. It must have been a good place back when it was a Logis de France establishment. Now it was a bit dreary. But for the lunchtime price, it's reasonable. Quick service.

15/02/2026: We were a large group at the restaurant on a Sunday lunchtime, and the service was quite unusual. There were place cards for the children and one parent (but not for the others 😅), and the owner was rather unpleasant to the children and generally had a strange attitude. As for the food, it wasn't bad, but it was uninspired, with a lot of frozen ingredients and numerous bones in the fish. In short, the menu was overpriced for what was served. All this in a decor that had remained unchanged. We were kindly given a framed photo of our group at the end of the meal—blurry, dark, and poorly framed—but it's the thought that counts!

01/02/2026: We came as a family, and the experience was very disappointing from the start. As soon as we were seated, the table wasn't properly set: only napkins and a knife, no fork. We had to get up to fetch cutlery from another table, which already speaks volumes about the establishment's professionalism. Shortly after, my husband ordered a non-alcoholic beer, but he was brought a regular one. Luckily, he asked before drinking it—a serious mistake, especially when you specify this type of request. The food then arrived, and that's when things got even worse. The fried dishes were soaked in oil, to the point of being inedible. Our son's children's meal (fish and chips) was literally swimming in oil, which is unacceptable, especially for a child. My salad… let’s not even go there: roughly chopped pink radishes, they looked like they’d been chopped with an axe, hard-boiled eggs that had clearly been cooked for several days, dry and tasteless, all drowned in dressing, making the dish sickening. My husband ordered a fish burger: not only was it bad, but there were bones in the fish, which is completely unacceptable and dangerous, especially in a burger. The small fried fish pieces had a very unpleasant taste of old oil and were, again, excessively greasy. As a result, we barely ate anything. To top it all off, when the bill came, the waiter tried to charge us for something we hadn’t ordered or eaten, which only added to our dissatisfaction. Finally, the hygiene of the restrooms was clearly lacking, which is particularly concerning in an establishment that serves food. 👉 Between the poor quality of the food, the disastrous cooking, the excessive oil, the service errors, the billing problems, and the lack of hygiene, the experience was very bad. We will not be returning.

01/08/2026: We had a wonderful time. The €28 menu is perfect. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. A nod to the national drinking culture.

31/07/2026: Noisy restaurant, only moderately clean. The food was truly awful. The service was minimal. The salad leaves were rotten, barely seasoned, and the fries and sausage were overcooked and overcooked. Go somewhere else; you won't have to be hard-pressed to eat better.

12/07/2026: Refusing access to the toilet to a woman eight months pregnant in 37°C heat... I quote: "Everyone has a good excuse to use our toilets." That says it all...

25/06/2026: Avoid this place at all costs. They refused to let a pregnant woman use the toilets during a heatwave unless she paid. The owner's welcome was extremely poor, even aggressive. With the public toilets in the square out of order, there were few other options. However, the service at Coffee and Co, just a few meters away, was excellent!

29/11/2025: Terrible. Rude servers, some pleasant ones. 21-minute wait, still not served. They don't like people with accents. The place is racist.

27/11/2025: If you think you'll be greeted with a smile, don't go there, unless it's the first cold weather that has chapped the servers' lips, there are plenty of other nicer bars in Nîmes.

23/07/2026: Nice setting, but the service is in dire need of improvement. A waiter spoke rudely to us as soon as we ordered, but we remained silent out of courtesy. The worst part happened when we were leaving: simply asking to use the restroom, we were not only refused access under the pretext that it had just been cleaned, but we were also mockingly told to "go do that by the Loire River." It's utterly contemptuous and deeply humiliating. My friends and I will never return.

07/03/2026: How can someone be elected with so little competence? The way our city is run is a complete mess. Between blatant incompetence and amateurism, we've hit rock bottom. I can't wait for the next election to change all this.
