23/05/2026: We were really looking forward to trying France's delicious baguettes in La Ciotat. It wasn't until the end of our visit, at the fourth bakery, that we finally found what we were looking for: crispy and delicious. We can also highly recommend the croissants and apple chaussures. The owner was always very friendly and cheerful. When I asked for a recommendation for a charcuterie, a discussion with another customer in the shop ensued. First, they consulted amongst themselves, and then, with great enthusiasm, they sent me on my way. I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation and the excellent recommendation.

15/07/2026: Very nice restaurant. We ate on the terrace facing Mont Blanc. You were very welcoming. The set menu was very reasonably priced (starter and main course) for around €20. I recommend it.

20/06/2026: Very nice experience at La Coquelle Cafe Restaurant. I ordered a Apple Fruit Juice which arrived as a can along with a glass of ice which was very refreshing and nice, other members of my group also ordered ice cream. The service provided was great with friendly staff and quick with the items arriving in a timely manner. The atmosphere is also excellent with breath-taking views of the mountains. I would recommend!

07/11/2025: No point in coming, it's closed. It's unacceptable not to post a notice on the website or on Google. Making the trip to find an old poster is clearly a lack of consideration for customers. I'm furious.

25/10/2025: Too bad the restaurant is permanently closed. We were regulars at this place, and for several months now, it's been closed with a sign saying it's "annual closure"... A waste of time every time we go there.👎

25/03/2026: Excellent quality accommodation. Nothing like the usual Campanil hotels. Plus, a very good restaurant with a buffet and homemade dishes. I highly recommend it!

19/03/2026: The tour hotel is of average quality, about 1.5 hours from the center of Paris including traffic. Our room was clean, but some people complained. The breakfast was mediocre; we filled our stomachs with croissants and cheese.

24/07/2026: As a regular customer for the past four years, I've never had any problems, whether with the sales staff or the products; everything is always impeccable. I highly recommend them.

12/06/2026: Hello, I don't usually leave negative reviews, but I wanted to share my experience from the afternoon of June 11th. I was greeted by a saleswoman wearing glasses and a ponytail. When I simply wanted to be served, she refused, saying she had to finish washing up. I explained that my break was ending in less than 5 minutes and that I was therefore in a hurry, but unfortunately, this wasn't taken into account. I completely understand that a single person on duty might have many tasks to manage, but in my opinion, the priority should remain welcoming and serving customers, especially when the request only takes a few moments. Better organization could prevent this kind of situation from happening again. It was a disappointing experience that doesn't reflect the level of service one expects from a bakery.

24/02/2026: I never leave reviews, but this time I think it's important to say that this restaurant is family-run, excellent, and the portions are huge. We also don't understand the negative reviews. It's a really great place.

10/01/2026: The pizzas were delicious! We ordered them by phone and they were ready as soon as we arrived. The price was reasonable for pizzas, the vegetarian one was generously topped with grilled vegetables, and the crust was perfect. I highly recommend this place!

09/05/2026: The meal wasn't great; it was dry, without sauce, and not very clean in terms of hygiene.

14/03/2026: This establishment may seem modest at first glance, but it offers professional and high-quality service. The welcome is pleasant, and the managers are approachable and helpful. The menu includes a buffet, appetizers and desserts, and a selection of cooked dishes. It's a very nice, roadside diner-style option where you eat simply, but well and in generous portions. Don't hesitate to stop by and get to know the managers and the menu, a type of place that's becoming increasingly rare.

18/04/2026: I arrived at 12:05 PM and the person told me that if I was there to buy cheese (a strange idea in a cheese shop!), I would have to come back later. I should point out that she said this in a very ironic tone, almost sneering. And what's more, she left me looking at the cheeses for 5 minutes without saying a word while she was busy with her only two customers. The fact that they are closed for cheese purchases is not mentioned on their website for the time slot between noon and 2 PM. The customer is treated very poorly. I think some people should find another line of work. It's a shame because the cheese is good, but there are other excellent cheese shops in Perpignan. Another customer lost! It doesn't seem to bother them, judging by some of the reviews; nothing changes.

02/03/2026: Don't be fooled by the rating. It's amazing! Made with passion. Served with a smile and good cheer. They deserve 5 stars. Delicious and authentic.

19/07/2026: The best Basque cake in the region, if not in all of France. Smooth almond cream, delicately flavored with a subtle and delicious bitter almond taste. Delicious biscuits. Truly a delight that you can eat even when you're not hungry!

16/07/2026: Being homeless in Thiviers, and with the excellent brasserie L'Évasion closed on Thursdays, we decided to try the new owners of this restaurant... what a disappointment! The beef had green spots on it and tasted more than questionable. We were told it would come with pasta and ratatouille, but it was served with microwaved, overcooked pasta—a massive, inedible lump. And to top it off, it was served without the famous ratatouille that we saw being served on the table of the few other diners we saw that lunchtime... So, a word to the owners: close down before you can and find another line of work. Running a restaurant requires a minimum of skill... and if you want me to tell you that to your face, I'd be happy to. The previous owner wasn't great, but now I have no words to describe it. We could film a kitchen nightmare in your establishment. I hope you improve.

05/07/2026: We had the opportunity to have lunch at this restaurant today. The owners gave us a very warm welcome, and the sirloin steak and roasted Camembert were wonderfully cooked. The only slight drawback, but nothing serious, was that the green beans were a little overcooked, but the fries, on the other hand, were perfectly cooked. A lovely little stop if you're passing through Thiviers. Excellent value for money, service, and friendly service.

30/07/2026: A wonderful evening at César's! The gizzard salad is exceptional, and the fresh sea bream is excellent as well. The local wines are also very good. Enjoy the view of the port and relax; I highly recommend it! The owner, Bruno, and his wife, Cyrielle, are very kind and welcoming!

30/07/2026: My colleague and I came to eat here. The atmosphere was fantastic! The whole team was incredibly friendly! We'll be back!

10/05/2026: We were staying at a hotel right next door and had a very good meal. The 80-year-old waitress/owner gave us a warm welcome and served us well.

18/04/2026: We came today as a couple for our first time and it was excellent; we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from start to finish. We'll definitely be back!

08/08/2026: Overcooked meat, raw egg and 25 minutes for an American-style patty that had nothing inside but floating onions.

07/08/2026: Manager who counts the number of towels, apart from carrots, no vegetables, drinks from the fountain with no taste, deplorable toilets.

26/09/2025: Good value for money, depending on the historical site of course. Excellent daily special and tasty dessert. All for €25. You won't find anything cheaper in Saint-Émilion.
