28/02/2026: We celebrated our wedding reception at Nostradamus restaurant on February 28, 2026. Our guests were delighted by both the delicious food prepared by Amandine and Miguel and their warm and welcoming atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend this delightful establishment in every way. 13/12/2024: Best lamb shank of my life. Also try their mushroom apps, very nicely done. Bone marrow was a bit greasy but doable if shared. Get there before 7 to avoid a wait. Creme brulee was the perfect ending to the meal!

05/01/2026: There are few crêperies in Joinville, and this one, simply called "La Crêperie," is our favorite. Admittedly, the recipes are very traditional and don't change with the seasons, but the crêpe batter holds its shape well, and the prices are reasonable. It's also worth noting that the crêpes are served with a little greenery (at no extra charge), and there are no questionable books or posters in sight.

11/12/2025: ​We had the pleasure of eating at Le Relais du Louvre tonight and it was the kind of charming, classic French meal you dream about. This is exactly what a great neighborhood bistro should feel like—warm, inviting, and serving truly excellent food. ​The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating right from the moment we walked in, making us feel completely at home. ​We started with two fantastic appetizers: the Eggs Mayonnaise were perfectly classic and delicious, and the Creamy Burrata Pesto Cherry Tomatoes Salad was so fresh and vibrant—an amazing start to the meal. ​For our main courses, we went for two iconic French dishes and they absolutely delivered. The Croque Monsieur was rich and cheesy perfection, and the Beef Bourguignon with mashed potatoes was incredibly tender and flavorful, real comfort food done right. ​To finish, we indulged in the decadent Chocolate Mousse, which was the perfect rich and airy ending. ​We highly recommend Le Relais du Louvre if you're looking for an authentic, delicious, and friendly dining experience near the Louvre. We will certainly be back when we next visit Paris.

07/02/2026: Always the same comments: perfect for the food, the quality, the quantity, and of course, the warm welcome. Whether it's the foie gras, the salmon tartare, the beef cheek salad, the blue cheese-stuffed mushrooms, the Charolais sirloin steak (very tender), the pan-fried scallops, the pan-fried quail fillets, the roasted sea bass fillet, in short, we loved everything 😊 and the desserts.... The gariguette tiramisu, the floating island, the crème brûlée, the apple tart, and the chocolate fondant are all delicious treats made with excellent ingredients. One thing we really appreciate is that the dishes are served on piping hot plates; it's truly the best. Not to mention the smiles and kindness of the two waitresses.

24/01/2026: A wonderful discovery! We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert. The restaurant was friendly and the waitress was very welcoming and always smiling. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it.

08/02/2026: An absolute gem of a restaurant. I visited on my first night in Lille after reading good reviews and wasn’t disappointed. I shared a herring and potato starter which was superb. My partner and I each had the mussels which were super fresh and tasty and came with the obligatory frites , very generous portions ! You also have to try the chocolate mousse which was heaven . The staff were super friendly and helpful , we were the first people in the restaurant (7:30pm) but were made to feel really welcome , it was pretty busy by the time we left at 9pm. I would really recommend this restaurant, absolutely lovely

09/07/2025: We only visited the free area because the price was €19. I think it's very expensive compared to other major monuments in Spain. What we saw caught our attention: the castle with battlements, busy streets with tourists, and a lively atmosphere. You can easily visit it in a day, eating inside and taking home a souvenir.

30/01/2026: Excellent and very affordable, this restaurant, located in a pleasant neighborhood, stands out for its well-balanced cuisine, generous portions at very reasonable prices, and the kindness of the owners. I had lunch with a group of 40 people, and we were served with great courtesy. The service was quick, relaxed, and tailored to everyone's needs. I highly recommend this restaurant.

27/01/2026: Given the glowing reviews, I'll moderate my own. I had lunch at noon, ordering à la carte. While the €8 grilled vegetable starter was acceptable, the €22 baked sea bream, served with a side of mixed vegetables without cream, seemed like it came from a bag of pre-packaged food. Unless it was simply negligence, as I was the only customer after two others had left by the time I arrived. It's a shame, as I wanted to try it since I live in the neighborhood.

The dishes are refined, beautifully presented, and delicious, and the wine list is remarkably well-curated with excellent value for money. 21/02/2026: An impeccable experience! A kind and attentive team! To give you some context, we were in a hurry, and we have family members who are lactose intolerant. We were able to place our order with the chef by phone so that everything would be ready for us when we arrived. And to save even more time, they packed the desserts in boxes so we could take them on the road. The dishes are homemade and absolutely delicious, and you can request modifications to accommodate individual intolerances! A huge thank you to the chef and the server for their incredible efficiency and exceptional kindness!

21/02/2026: A truly magical moment, like floating on a cloud ☁☁☁☁☁☁ The welcome was delightful and thoughtful, the setting charming, and we felt instantly at ease. As for the chef's cuisine, it was fantastic! Every dish showcased traditional cooking with a touch of originality that was sure to impress. And what's more, thanks to the magic of fresh, homemade food, there's always a solution for severe allergies or intolerances! It's quite simple: we arrived tired from the drive, pressed for time, and with dietary restrictions... Within minutes, we were relaxed and delighted, those with lactose intolerance were reassured, the sheer pleasure of the food did the rest, and we left feeling wonderfully refreshed. So rest assured, we'll be back... And if you try it, you'll love it too! 😀 P.S.: Special mention for the veal steak with its delicious pesto sauce, the melt-in-your-mouth salmon in a pistachio and coriander crust, not forgetting the fabulous duck breast with red berries, yum! And if you have any allergies, don't forget to call ahead so the chef can adapt the recipe. 👍
