17/07/2026: Le Limousin is a wonderful little café in the Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand neighborhood. It’s a warm, welcoming spot serving comforting French food that is clearly loved by the locals. The restaurant is well known for its burgers, but the real highlight for us was the duck confit. It was cooked to perfection—the skin was beautifully crispy while the meat was incredibly tender and simply melted in our mouths. Every detail was thoughtfully prepared. Even the fries were cooked in duck fat, making them wonderfully crisp, fragrant, and full of flavor. Without a doubt, one of the best duck confits we’ve ever had! The portions are generous, and the prices offer excellent value for the quality and quantity of the food. We would happily come back and highly recommend Le Limousin to anyone visiting the area.

27/07/2026: I won't say I've tried every Michelin-starred restaurant in the region, but having dined at a few, I can say they're consistently excellent. BUT, here there's what I call a little something extra, a story, a feeling in the dishes. As a fan of sauces and jus, I wasn't disappointed. Powerful reductions with bold flavors clearly reveal the chef's character and vision (the fish soup accompanying the red mullet and the squid stew jus are prime examples). A five-course meal that took us on a journey much further than we anticipated.

18/07/2026: The seafood dishes were flavorful and delicate. We also thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails, the wines recommended by the sommelier, and the exquisite desserts made from simple ingredients. The view, the decor, and the comfortable dining room all combine to offer a truly relaxing experience. The only slight drawback: the service was a touch reserved.

02/08/2026: The setting is really lovely and original, a bit like some places you see in London, where I used to live, with several different atmospheres inside and a very pretty terrace. The food is excellent: the ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and perfectly cooked. Overall, the value for money is quite good. If I could suggest one area for improvement, it would be the telephone reception when making the reservation, which was really lacking. However, once you arrive, the service is very good. One small detail: they could have used a few more fries, they were so good! As for drinks, everything was great, except perhaps the small punch, which seemed a little lost in its large glass. 😄 Honestly, it's worth the trip. Just remember to book!

They were kind enough to accommodate us despite our late arrival. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return. The dishes are excellent, beautifully presented, and generous. The restaurant truly lives up to its name; it's a real delight.

05/08/2026: Run away!!! Frozen, dry burger bun, overcooked meat, look for the sauce, the cheese, and a pathetic salad as dry as everything else. And this is supposed to be the best-rated place in town! Unbelievable! Word of mouth won't work on our part!

12/07/2026: This is a lovely bistro in Paris. The female owner spent a long time talking us through the menu and explaining the Provence of the ingredients. We were served an amous bouche to start. I had duck tartare, soufflé, goats cheese on toast and the signature cassoulet. It was all delicious. I forgot to take pictures but the was presented beautifully. This place is a gastronomic gem and should be visited by food lovers everywhere. Bravo!
