The service was attentive and the welcome warm, making our visit particularly enjoyable. The scenery was absolutely stunning. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return.
I would also have appreciated a candle on my wife's dessert; it's just a small detail, nothing important, but I should have mentioned it again upon arrival.

06/09/2026: Refined cuisine bursting with flavor, very delicious dishes with a well-prepared presentation. The veal kidneys were cooked to perfection, melting in your mouth, and accompanied by delicious vegetables and homemade spaetzle. A delicious snail puff pastry appetizer.
The only downside is the traffic noise from cars and motorcycles while dining on the terrace.

One drawback, however: the large dog (the owner's, I imagine) wandering from table to table doesn't exactly inspire confidence in the restaurant's hygiene; thankfully, a "very satisfactory" hygiene rating is displayed at the reception desk, which is reassuring.
07/08/2026: A truly wonderful experience! We ate on the terrace as a family and were not disappointed. Everything was excellent from start to finish, from the aperitif to the coffee. To begin, I had an octopus salad, perfectly seasoned, followed by a perfectly cooked cod heart—a delightful discovery. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the ribeye steak with its extraordinary sauce. We highly recommend this establishment, which truly stands out from the crowd!

08/09/2026: Looking for desserts for our Sunday lunch (not necessarily vegan to begin with), we stumbled upon Michel Mabelle! Even though I'm very picky about sweets, I didn't need any convincing to eat them. These pastries are truly incredible! We'll be back to try the others 😋

And of course, I wasn't disappointed at all by this super cute bakery in Bordeaux 🙈 The pain au chocolat is excellent, and so is the coffee. The atmosphere and location are also great, and I would definitely come back 🫶
