27/11/2025: The game menu was excellent, especially in the private room, just like in previous years. I also appreciate the summer and winter menus. Thank you to Séverine Sanchez for her warm welcome and to Damien Sanchez for his culinary expertise. I'm really looking forward to summer to enjoy the terrace.

22/11/2025: A wonderful evening. The welcome was top-notch. The game menu was excellent and took me out of my comfort zone. I loved it. And an extra touch of joy when they wished me a happy birthday. A thoughtful and lovely gesture. Truly a wonderful experience... I'll definitely be back.

12/12/2025: In my opinion, this is one of the best restaurants in Metz! Everything is there for a perfect experience: an ideal location with a magnificent view, dishes always prepared exactly as requested, served hot, and of consistent quality. The service is impeccable: the team is incredibly attentive and always smiling, which is becoming rare these days. You can tell they truly understand how to run a successful restaurant. I'm always delighted to go there when I'm in Metz, and I highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work; it's a real pleasure!

09/12/2025: The location was good, the menu short, the meat and hamburgers decent, but the fries were dipped back in the fryer. The waitress was anything but welcoming and clearly wished she were somewhere else. And worst of all, I suffered a severe case of food poisoning the next day, undoubtedly due to the soft white cheese called "La Jonchée," which I pointed out had a strange taste. They told me it was just the taste of cheese! 😡😡 I've been bedridden ever since.

31/10/2025: Restaurant with simple but good quality and delicious food! Only one drawback! The daily special was linguine with mussels and clams. Three clams for a fourfold portion of mussels... a shame, everything else was delicious and perfect.

15/11/2025: A very good, casual restaurant, also open in the evenings during the week. Very friendly welcome. We went there one evening as a group of three and we had a wonderful meal! 😋

The menus are excellent: the 34 euro menu is worth it, starter, main course, dessert with a duo of delicious foie gras and desserts...you can choose any dessert from the menu without counting the divine ice cream sundaes! The icing on the cake was the kindness of the welcome!

03/07/2025: A magnificent, enchanting interlude from arrival to departure! A warm welcome, a bucolic setting in a most pleasant calm, we felt right at home, the staff is smiling and caring. A romantic dinner on the terrace, blown away by the contents and packaging of each dish, with careful consideration given to the combination of flavors, an evening masterfully orchestrated by passionate waiters, managing to be present for us without being omnipresent, it was truly a wonderful moment of sharing! An evening of awakening for our taste buds, both savory and sweet, special mention for the desserts, to die for! The price of the menu is justified; you won't leave the table hungry, far from it! The icing on the cake, we shared a delicious moment with Cédric at the end of the meal, who took the time after his day; it was charming! Not forgetting his sunny wife Marion with whom we also had a very nice time, thank you very much to you both, to the whole team at the Auberge Basque, we will remember this stay and will definitely come back!
