29/05/2026: This review is for the restaurant GOURMET, avoid this place! If you thought you were going to taste the culinary treasures of the bay, you're out of luck. Everything is fresh... from the freezer! And tasteless! When paying, we complained to the owner about the blandness of his food and the poor service. He grumbled and replied, "Too many people, it's the rush!" So shut up and pay! Avoid at all costs

28/05/2026: I'm very disappointed by the recent changes at this bakery. I've noticed with regret that not only have the prices increased, but the size of the pastries has also visibly shrunk. It's a double whammy for customers' wallets. It's a shame, because the quality is still there, but the quantity-to-price ratio is no longer there at all.

14/05/2026: The saleswoman was very condescending on May 13, 2026 when it came to picking up a package there, and she didn't listen when we spoke to her and put customers who seemed more "suitable" ahead of you.

19/05/2026: We showed up for the all-you-can-eat couscous on Tuesday evening and were told it was cancelled because they were out of merguez sausages! Auchan sells merguez sausages! False advertising!

16/05/2026: Tonight we witnessed a complete loss of composure from the manager, I imagine "Sam." There were a few people at the register, but no one was complaining; everyone was patient. But then this man arrived, acted aggressively towards the young cashier, and said to him in front of everyone, "And you're studying?" I think this "Sam" man should take the time to study management himself. His behavior was appalling, both as customers and as human beings. The stares exchanged between customers were mentioned, as was the shock of his outburst.

14/06/2026: Aggressive owner. After his dog came to see us, he attacked my daughter and me because, according to him, we had touched his dog, and he wanted to fight. Avoid this place unless you're looking for a fight.

02/05/2026: The bar staff is fantastic!! Always a warm welcome with a smile, which is always appreciated, even when we just pop in for a coffee during our lunch break!! I highly recommend it

13/04/2026: We're regulars, but friendliness and smiles vary depending on the employee, which is a shame. We're also disappointed that the Italian ice cream machine is often "out of order," not turned on, or cleaned too early, well before closing time, because the ice cream is delicious. Generally, we don't buy the other products because they're too expensive.

25/02/2026: The waitress lacked enthusiasm; we lost patience and changed bars – luckily there are plenty in Arras.

24/04/2026: Unfriendly service and a very limited selection despite what was advertised. We ordered andouillette, minced steak, and pork loin, but ended up with ham, chicken, and sausage. The waitress didn't know what was available and was unfriendly.

06/08/2026: Opens at 11:30 AM: No fries! It's a CUSTOM... Why wait until 11:40 AM for those famous fries to FINALLY arrive, only to have 4 or 5 people waiting in front of you to finish their meal and empty your display in 5 minutes, then wait "X" times longer for another batch...? 20/03/2026: Avoid at all costs... I ordered a sweet white wine and caught the waitress mixing cane sugar into a dry white wine... It's a complete rip-off...

07/07/2026: SCAM - On July 6th at 6 PM, I ordered TWO CHOCOLATE TIGRÉS (a flan) and a croissant. The woman discreetly served me ONE chocolate Tigré but charged me for TWO. I hadn't noticed. It was deliberate; I could see in her eyes that she was acting strangely, but I left, bitterly discovering that evening that I only had one chocolate Tigré. Luckily, I have a kind heart and gave my share to my daughter, who was hoping her father would come home with chocolate croissants for that evening and the following morning... This is undoubtedly not the only time the cashier has pulled this scam, serving only part of the order but charging for the full amount. It's shameful. My advice if you go there: take a receipt! Report it if you are a victim of this pastry shop.

02/07/2026: The pastries were well-made under the previous owner, especially the croissants and pain au chocolat. This time, I bought two croissants that I threw in the bin. They were undercooked and flat. And it's not the first time. So, I'm done with this bakery.

19/11/2025: I don't understand people who are satisfied given the quality; avoid this place! €19 for a meal is outrageous; I wouldn't even recommend it for a €10 meal.

22/10/2025: €22 for the set menu, they saw us once, they won't see me twice. The tagliatelle was waterlogged, no fries, homemade, and the beer was just a simple glass can. A set menu for a worker is €15/€16. If it were better, we could pay a little more, but it's not. And it's not just a little more expensive... we understand why the place is empty. And why just before in Irvillac it was full and without reservations, they couldn't take us.

04/08/2026: Disappointed, simply disappointed. The place and location are great, even charming. However, the welcome was cold, almost unpleasant; the staff made us feel like we were bothering them... and the chocolate crepe... a tasteless batter topped with an industrial chocolate-flavored sauce (cocoa-flavored glucose syrup...) was very disappointing. Such a shame, we imagined eating a comforting homemade crepe in a lovely setting, but no, truly a pity. I asked the manager if it was chocolate, and she curtly replied that it was indeed chocolate... in short, a shame... all this just to maximize the cost of the crepe. I would have been delighted to pay a few euros more and eat a crepe made with a homemade crepe batter and chocolate instead of chocolate-flavored syrup... unfortunately, I don't recommend it. Hoping things will change...

01/08/2026: Inhumane. A customer left drunk; her car was parked right across the street. She somehow managed to find her keys and tried to start the car. I hoped the regulars and employees who were there, laughing, would do something. I finally went to see her, seeing that the "spectacle" amused them more than anything else. These thoughtless people didn't lift a finger! It's a disgrace. And if that were all, the "food" served makes us question the very notion of justice, since some quality restaurants struggle to stay afloat while these horrifying establishments still exist...

31/07/2026: We were lucky enough to celebrate our wedding in early July at La Demeure d'Ogust, and we cherish the memories. This place is simply magnificent and proved to be the perfect setting for the bohemian wedding we envisioned. Everything was perfect: the reception room for the meal, the dance floor under the veranda, and especially the superb outdoor cocktail reception under the arbors, which created a magical atmosphere for our summer day. But what truly made the difference was Jean-Michel and Patricia. Available, attentive, and professional, they guided us throughout the preparations with great kindness, always ready to answer our questions. On the big day, their invaluable help with the setup and their attentive presence contributed to making it absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to them both. This place will forever be etched in our memories.

A huge thank you to the owners for their warm welcome, availability, and kindness throughout the planning and the weekend. We recommend this venue without hesitation!
