22/05/2026: Passing through Doué-la-Fontaine, we decided to try this restaurant. A very pretty setting in a troglodyte cellar. A warm and friendly welcome. An original concept. The two (lovely) young women explain the meal to you. It's very good and generous. And no unpleasant surprises when the bill arrives; everything is included: meal, aperitif, white, rosé, or red wine, water, and coffee or tea! Definitely worth trying.

17/05/2026: We shared lunch on a Saturday, market day. We hadn't booked but were quickly seated on the terrace. It was busy, so the service was a little slow. The menu was classic and included some typical dishes like black pudding with cider sauce, which was very good.

A huge thank you to the waitresses who were absolutely wonderful: welcoming, smiling, and very professional, offering excellent advice on the wine list and menu. The chef is as radiant as his cuisine: generous and impeccable. Flawless! I highly recommend it!

Everything on the plate was perfect, from the presentation to the taste. A wonderful discovery. 11/05/2026: Excellent meal. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. I had the foie gras as a starter and the ribeye steak as a main course; it was perfect. I don't remember what I had for dessert (the meal was on August 2nd, 2025). In addition to the perfect cuisine and attentive service, I felt a sense of well-being in this restaurant from the moment I entered; it felt like home. Very few tables, discreet and efficient staff, a calm atmosphere—you have time to take your time—it was truly pleasant. It's one of the best restaurants I've been to since I was born. We will definitely return; it's a sure bet in Montauban and the surrounding area.

04/06/2026: Excellent experience at Pizzeria d’Autrefois! The pizzas are delicious, generously topped, and made with quality ingredients. The wood-fired oven gives them an authentic flavor that you appreciate from the first bite. The welcome is warm, the owner is friendly and attentive; he gave me excellent recommendations for the meat pizza and the goat cheese and honey pizza, both with superb crust. A nice bonus is the halal meat option, and the service is quick. The atmosphere is friendly and pleasant, ideal for spending quality time with family or friends. A must-try in Grau-du-Roi that I highly recommend. We will gladly return!
