19/04/2026: Passing through Clermont-Ferrand, we stumbled upon this bar and received a very warm welcome. We decided to eat in; the food was all homemade and it was excellent. The owner and waitress were welcoming and attentive to the customers. They also have options for children. Thank you again!

19/04/2026: It was a wonderful discovery for our 10th anniversary, and what a discovery it was! The service was both friendly and professional, the menu featured only fresh ingredients, and the chef was exceptional. We savored our appetizers, main courses, a cheese plate shared between us, and a refined dessert—a true delight. The small dining room was very welcoming, and we had a lovely time, all for a very reasonable price considering the quality of the food, the service, and the professionalism. 10/03/2026: Great place! I ordered a steak cooked rare (perfect!) and the homemade fries were very good. My colleague said the burger was excellent. He had a refined dessert: a beautifully presented tart and five delicious mini desserts with my gourmet coffee.

It's impossible not to find something to enjoy, whether it's an aperitif or a beautifully presented meal, in a cozy setting where time seems to stand still in the gentle atmosphere created by the radiant owner, Karine Arnaud, and her team. As for the dynamic chef, Eric Arnaud, he delights us with his magnificent dishes, each with its own elegant presentation and flavors that transport us back to a time when people took the time to create rich, flavorful sauces, not to mention the expertly crafted sauces that whisk us away to a paradise of fine food and the good life. It's thanks to them that life sparkles in Place Ducale. A must-try!

30/12/2025: We tried the pork and the chicken. The pork didn’t suit our taste, and the chicken was quite tough, likely overcooked. Service was friendly, but the dishes missed the mark for us.

23/12/2025: We just left this little restaurant with the yellow storefront, at the end of a small square that should be renamed "Happiness Square" because the welcome, the selection of dishes, and the wine all contribute to a particularly pleasant and delicious experience. The sauerkraut is truly excellent, and the breaded chicken is "to die for," according to our daughter. The chocolate mousse is the perfect ending to this treat. Go in, and you'll leave with a smile on your face.

30/04/2026: Excellent experience at Chefson! From the moment we arrived, we received a warm and attentive welcome. The dining room is spacious, allowing us to enjoy our meal in a pleasant atmosphere without feeling cramped. The service is impeccable: the servers are incredibly attentive, present without being intrusive, and with a real attention to detail. As for the food, it's flawless. The dishes are of high quality, full of flavor, and the cooking is perfectly executed. A special mention for the sea bream ceviche, which was absolutely delicious! Finally, a very pleasant surprise with the wines, at very reasonable prices. An address I highly recommend!
