15/04/2026: A truly beautiful and unique place! A very warm welcome, superb rooms with a lovely view! Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant! So, to add to my review from October, the welcome is still as warm and friendly as ever, the place is still as pleasant, but what more can I say about the meal I was just served than that it was one of my most memorable culinary experiences!

05/06/2026: We've eaten at L'AO three times already. Each time, we were pleasantly surprised by the menu selection. Every course is exquisite. They cook superbly with fantastic ingredients. Although L'AO is off the beaten tourist track, it's well worth the slight detour in every respect. The prices are also very fair overall, including the well-thought-out wine list. The restaurant also offers comfortable rooms for overnight stays. For us, L'AO is always a highlight among the many restaurants in southern Alsace.

He took the time to present the dishes, explain the origin of the ingredients, and share his passion for cuisine made primarily with local, short-supply-chain ingredients. It's an approach we greatly appreciate. The dishes were delicious, the ingredients were high quality, and the prices were quite reasonable considering the experience offered. I encourage you to make a detour to this hotel; you'll be pleasantly surprised. The chef in the restaurant prepares delicious dishes, and the staff are always smiling. Enjoy this charming place with its swimming pool; you won't be disappointed, whether you're traveling for business or pleasure.
