The welcome is very friendly, and the staff is very efficient. I recommend booking for lunch, as the restaurant is very popular (and that's a good thing). I often return with pleasure.

The staff were very welcoming, and since we preferred to eat outside to enjoy the view, they managed to find us a table on the terrace despite the many reservations. The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the view of the lake stunning! A truly wonderful experience! Highly recommended!

03/04/2026: I visited Les Jardins restaurant, located inside the Marché des Capucins in Bordeaux, to sample fresh oysters, and the experience was simply incredible. I'd been wanting to try oysters in this region for a long time, as it's known for its oyster farming tradition, and here I was able to fulfill that little dream. The oysters were fresh and delicious, with a flavor that truly reflects the quality of the local product. The service was excellent, which made the experience even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place I recommend if you're visiting the market and want to savor an authentic taste of Bordeaux.

A delightful touch: a tasting of regional wines by the glass, perfectly paired with each course, guided by the sommelier-waitress. To finish on a sweet note, a small glass of pear cognac was a true delight (to be enjoyed in moderation). An evening of pure pleasure. Absolutely essential! A word of advice: book in advance, otherwise you'll miss out on a fantastic culinary journey.
