13/09/2026: Despite our late reservation, we were greeted by the manager. From the very beginning, the welcome was incredibly warm. To start, we enjoyed four half-liters of a hoppy tequila drink (Desperados) for the modest price of 8 ecus each. We were pleasantly surprised to discover the existence of both savory and sweet platters (originality guaranteed). Salami was a staple for one of us (he ate it twice) and a wonderful discovery for the others. Our eyes and stomachs were immediately drawn to the "padre" platter (Spanish for "dad"): delicious. Following that, the veggie burger, the chicken burger, and the fish and chips delighted our taste buds like a drop of morning dew gliding down a petal. Despite being quite full, some desserts made an appearance at our table: a Nutella crepe and a brioche that was initially lost but then found. We apologize for our late departure, as we were detained by the third round of drinks served in perfectly chilled glasses. In short: "The perfect equation: top-notch service, rock-bottom bill." The medley of French songs shared with the staff delighted our ears before we left. P.S.: Tell us your next Canadian address! 🫶

07/09/2026: A very pleasant restaurant in the old town with Corsican specialties. I recommend the Corsican veal tianu, either with zucchini fritters or pasta, or the cannelloni stuffed with broccoli. The food is homemade using only fresh products bought every morning by the owner, Clémentine, who is very kind and hardworking.

04/10/2026: Fantastic – a true little Parisian gem! 🇫🇷❤️ I'd been searching for ages for a typical French restaurant that also offered really good vegetarian dishes – and I struck gold with Petit Pontoise! ​​From the first course to the last, the food was simply superb. Appetizers, main courses, and desserts were incredibly delicious, sophisticated, and truly exceptional. The Spritz Saint-Germain was equally delicious. 😋 We sat outside on the sidewalk – a small table, Parisian street life right in front of us: exactly as we'd imagined! 🥰 We especially want to mention the wonderful service. Ricardo served us and looked after us so warmly, attentively, and kindly that we felt welcome from the very first moment. A thoroughly wonderful evening with excellent food and plenty of Parisian charm. We can wholeheartedly recommend Petit Pontoise – especially to vegetarians! We would come back in a heartbeat. ❤️

11/07/2026: A lovely place; we had lunch on the shaded terrace. The welcome was warm and professional. For starters: melon and ham; sea bream ceviche with strawberries. For main courses: very fresh and flavorful carpaccio of vineyard peaches, burrata, tomatoes, and mortadella; fish in saffron sauce with delicious rice and vegetables. A wonderful place to discover if you're in the area. Well done to the whole team!

21/06/2026: We had a wonderful time at La Faucado. The terrace under the trees is lovely, the service was quick, the waiters were friendly, and the food was delicious and plentiful! We will definitely be back.

05/09/2026: It's well worth the trip. For a €50 set menu with a starter and main course, there's plenty to delight the taste buds. The dishes are deliciously prepared and offer a wonderful variety on the plate. The service is attentive, with a touch of British humor, but without being intrusive. We truly had a very pleasant evening. Kudos to the chefs and servers for their kindness. It was for my daughter's 14th birthday, and she received very special and thoughtful attention, in a simple and discreet manner. There's a dedicated customer parking lot behind the restaurant. Honestly, I'll definitely be back.

06/09/2026: My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at this restaurant on Saturday, September 5th, accompanied by our faithful dog, Sirius. The welcome was warm. We called after 8:00 PM and were able to dine at 8:45 PM. We had been turned away from several other establishments because we hadn't made a reservation and/or our dog's presence was considered disruptive. I want to emphasize the professionalism of the staff, both in the dining room and the kitchen. Our waiter, Christophe, was a lovely and attentive person. When he took our order, I told him I was vegetarian. When the amuse-bouches arrived, the message had been relayed to the kitchen, and the chefs prepared a dish adapted to my needs, much to my delight. Christophe brought a bowl of fresh water for our dog without us even having to ask—a thoughtful touch that I want to highlight, as it's becoming increasingly rare these days. I opted for the Traditional menu, and I wasn't disappointed. The dishes were prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients, surprising flavors, and generous portions. Christophe and his colleague regularly checked on us at our table to make sure we were enjoying our meals, and I assure you, we were—the empty plates don't lie! Sirius even got a treat: a small portion of homemade rillettes—pure luxury! He didn't leave a crumb. :) When the bill arrived, we were treated to petit fours: little chocolate fondants, wonderfully chocolatey and not too sweet... a real delight for a chocolate lover like me. Thank you again to the entire team at Auberge de la Tour for this wonderful experience of sharing and delicious food. I highly and warmly recommend this place and hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

25/09/2026: For us, this is one of the best restaurants in town. Delicious fish dishes, and the best octopus salad ever. The service is exceptionally warm and efficient (they even helped with carving). Reservations are absolutely essential, at least they were when we were there in mid-September.

24/09/2026: The pizza is very good, the place is nice, a quiet spot away from the city center. However, the atmosphere is difficult. The apprentice gets yelled at in front of everyone, with a rather embarrassing volume of his voice. The owner is very sweet-talking when offering options (a salad to freshen up the meal? A sweet treat to finish? A little caffeine?) if you have the misfortune to refuse (not because you don't want to, but because you need some peace and quiet), you really feel it (no addiction then?). So-so customer service.

24/09/2026: A very good pizzeria in the center of Laguiole. The crust is thin and the pizzas are made with good ingredients, although the crust was slightly overcooked in places. The service is impeccable and friendly.
