13/09/2026: A true hidden gem! We dined at this trattoria and the experience was simply exceptional from start to finish. The food was truly excellent, everything delicious and prepared with great care: an excellent choice for experiencing traditional cuisine, especially in Paris. A special mention goes to the waiter who served us: super friendly, helpful, and attentive to every detail, he greeted us, even speaking a little Italian to make us feel completely at ease. He was attentive throughout the dinner, regularly checking that everything was fine and promptly refilling the water carafe as soon as it ran out. A warm welcome and impeccable service that absolutely deserve a tip. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming and authentic culinary experience!

12/09/2026: Great bourguignon! The pomme de terre purée on the side was excellent. Service and atmosphere was awesome, but a very small venue.

11/09/2026: The waiter refused us service with our child in a stroller, claiming they would be full in 30 minutes (lunchtime). They wouldn't even offer us water.

01/07/2026: Having booked some time ago, we arrived well after closing time. Despite this late arrival (which was anticipated when we booked), everything was already in place to welcome us. A remarkable meal awaited us. All we had to do was reheat it and enjoy. We had two very pleasant adjoining double rooms with an extraordinary view of the "Lake," namely the Lot River, held back a few kilometers downstream by a dam. The restful night was most welcome. There was no noise at all. It was perfect. Breakfast was of the same high quality. This friendly, family atmosphere is thanks to Justine and Anthony, our hosts, whom we thank for their kindness, their helpfulness, and the quality of their service.

15/09/2026: The welcome was strange, with inappropriate remarks that quickly made me feel uncomfortable. The owner has a style that could be amusing, but her behavior quickly crossed the line. The dishes were homemade but lacked any particular flavor, and the price was too high for the quality offered.

12/06/2026: The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous. The food at Restaurant Café du Soleil was generally very good, and the menu was quite comprehensive. However, the portions were truly enormous, much larger than I expected. One person ordering just one dish would be quite full, and might even be unable to finish. The prices didn't seem cheap, but considering the portions, it was understandable. I suggest not ordering too much; if you don't have a big appetite, you can share with a few people, or order less.

12/06/2026: We had a very good meal; the portions were generous and everything was served quickly. For starters, a special mention goes to the eggs meurette and the Lyonnaise salad, which were both excellent. For our main course, we had quenelles, which were plentiful and very well prepared. A special mention for the praline tart, which was simply superb—in short, I highly recommend it and don't hesitate to make a reservation.

01/09/2026: Beautiful terrace, good food, and efficient service. One small issue: I was charged for four beers instead of two. I went back and got a refund. I appreciate it when some restaurant owners clearly state what's being charged when you pay… it's much clearer.

26/09/2026: Well, tonight I can say I went to a restaurant! These are people who understand their craft and do it well! The standards are respected: a warm welcome, respectful without being stuffy, quality tableware and glassware, a little amuse-bouche while waiting (increasingly rare), homemade dishes that you can taste the difference, seasonings and cooking techniques are perfect... Details that don't lie: homemade mayonnaise, homemade fries, homemade dauphinoise potatoes, a finger bowl for the shrimp appetizer, quality bread, Coke in a glass bottle and not a yesterday's can from the supermarket, menu flexibility for pregnant women... In short! Finally, restaurateurs who respect their customers. We'll overlook the lack of tablecloths and cloth napkins; knowing the overhead costs imposed on professionals, we understand why they avoid this expense that would inflate the bill. Very fair prices. Truly, well done! The only downside was that there were only two servers to handle the entire service... It was heartbreaking to see them running around, although they never let you feel stressed, and the wait was very reasonable. Also, they weren't dressed in t-shirts and sneakers, but in black trousers, white shirts, and dress shoes—hats off to them! Again, congratulations and a big thank you for this excellent experience!

22/09/2026: A great placement, just in front of the cathedral. The food was correct, the wine average. The waiter was a bit too eagerly wanting us to finish our meal. Yes, we were among the last clients but still it made a rather unpleasant aftertaste.

18/09/2026: Excellent food. Impeccable service. Just one drawback: the soundproofing is a problem, making conversation difficult, especially with a table of 10 people next door talking loudly.
