19/04/2026: A truly exceptional gastronomic experience. Beautifully prepared ingredients, perfectly cooked. We went from one delightful discovery to another, much to the delight of our palates. A wonderful discovery of a Breton white wine that paired beautifully with the entire menu. All served in the purest French tradition. A huge thank you for this gastronomic experience. We will not hesitate to return during our next stay in Brittany. Two very happy food lovers.

19/04/2026: On our way from Luxembourg to Lyon, we stopped for the first time in Chalon-sur-Saône. The Bistrot offered us refined cuisine and discreet yet attentive service. The presentation and quality of the dishes, along with an enticing wine list, make this restaurant a must-visit.

12/03/2026: We made a reservation on a Saturday afternoon for the evening and were lucky enough to get a free table. So, it's advisable to reserve in advance, and rightly so. The food, ambiance, and service were all top-notch. Everything was creative and expertly prepared, and all at very fair prices. As one would expect in Burgundy, the wine selection was also good and reasonably priced for Burgundy standards. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Thank you to the whole team for a wonderful evening.

20/04/2026: Although we live nearby, this was our first time having lunch as a family at Bistrot Tocqueville. The service was simply perfect. The owners are attentive, professional, and welcoming. As for the food, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with very high-quality ingredients. The dishes were delicious and the portions generous. We had a lovely time on the terrace. We will definitely be back.

The owners are incredibly kind, the cottage is superb, so don't hesitate to stay for a night or a week; you'll have plenty to discover in the surrounding area.

19/04/2026: A very nice little restaurant, a very warm welcome, the peace and quiet are much appreciated and the food is delicious.

29/04/2026: The setting is lovely, the restaurant is unique, and the large fireplace with its brazier is a striking feature. The menu is simple, but there's no set menu. There are fewer than 10 choices for each starter, main course, and dessert. While the starters and main courses are decent, the desserts leave much to be desired in terms of flavor. The fries, despite tasting pleasant, were soggy. The portions, apart from the Tomahawk steak, were a bit small. The cheese platter: 4 or 5 pieces on a plate with no choice of cheeses (no cheese cutting on the trolley and no announcement of available cheeses). For the price, this is unacceptable. As for dessert, for example, the Baileys baba is Baileys in name only. The base of the baba is a sponge cake! And the sponge cake isn't soaked; we had trouble cutting it with a spoon! The coffee mousse covering it was good. We asked the server to bring us the bottle for soaking, but they refused, and said they didn't know the recipe. In short, the experience was disappointing, especially considering the price was around €80 per person. Unfortunately, it was far too expensive for the quality and service.

26/04/2026: Sublime, the meat was cooked to perfection. The premium tomahawk steak is a must-try. The homemade fries arrived a little late, but otherwise everything was perfect. I recommend the French toast brioche.

03/05/2026: The restaurant L'ODAS deserves two Michelin stars. The quality and delicacy of the dishes, their presentation, and the staff are exemplary. The colors, materials, and lighting of the upstairs dining room are perfect and far superior to those on the ground floor. Dinner at L'ODAS was enchanting.

15/04/2026: I was disappointed by the asparagus starter: too many different seasonings that masked its flavor, and by the baba for dessert, which was neither light nor indulgent. The pigeon flambéed with Armagnac, on the other hand, was absolutely delicious! In a restaurant of this caliber, I was surprised to see two small chipped plates. Similarly, the wine list by the glass was missing from the menu, and it was never brought to me when it came time to choose.
