13/07/2026: We arrived without a reservation and were warmly welcomed despite the restaurant being almost full. We ordered a steak and a lamb shank. The dishes were delicious, generous, and full of flavor. A big thank you to Lulu for her kindness and thoughtful touches throughout the meal. A good restaurant isn't just about good food; it's also about having a good time. We will gladly return. See you soon!

20/07/2026: As always, the canelés at La Toque Cuivrée are by far the best in Bordeaux! This shop is very good, convenient because there's plenty of parking, and the staff are very friendly!

07/07/2026: A very good restaurant, perhaps a little disappointed by the portion sizes, especially the slices of Nantes cake, but the dishes were very well prepared. The staff is very friendly, and the young waitress was very attentive!

10/08/2026: For a dinner for two, we opted for the Chef's five-course tasting menu, which included a recommendation from the Chef to the dessert. The result was a true journey to the south throughout the meal, with perfect spice pairings and masterful cooking techniques (especially the chicken tentacle and the Black Angus beef ribs). The wine pairing was perfect.

16/07/2026: Stop searching for a restaurant on the quayside and do as we did and discover Les Embruns, slightly tucked away. I admit that chance played a large part in this discovery. So what can I say except that there's nothing to complain about? Everything is perfect: the welcome, the food. The little accompaniments with the aperitifs, the "trou rétois" as digestifs, were all very nice touches. Bravo!

13/07/2026: The best Fleischschnacka of my life! We had lunch on the terrace with our family on a Saturday. The terrace is shaded by large trees, which immediately lowers the temperature a few degrees. The welcome was warm and friendly, and we were immediately offered a carafe of water. Given the heat, it was very welcome. The menu is varied, and the portions are very generous. I opted for the Fleischschnacka with raw vegetables, which were absolutely delicious (see photo). There's also a version with broth and green salad. The photo also shows the pig's trotter stew. The rest of the table ordered hanger steak or steak tartare. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Kudos to the excellent service and the restaurant's decor.

20/06/2026: We went to eat at La Petite École on Friday evening, June 19th. A delightful experience. Exceptional and authentic cuisine, a very warm welcome. A must-try restaurant. Perfect.

Just one small drawback: a 45-minute wait for a single course! Despite this minor inconvenience, I will recommend this restaurant to my friends and family. Best wishes. 22/07/2026: A family-run establishment with an established reputation. The wine cellar is a treasure trove. Attentive staff, and fresh, flavorful cuisine. The dining room layout is a bit of a letdown compared to the other qualities. Hence the three stars. Worth a visit.

30/07/2026: The best tarte flambée in years, perfect for sharing in a group in many different variations. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The outdoor seating could be more comfortable.

26/07/2026: Very good, among the best tarte flambée we've ever had. However, having only drinks and tarte flambée available for two hours without being able to order dessert is a bit much. The service was very slow, even though everyone was pleasant. It took 20 minutes to get our tarte flambée platters, and another 20 minutes between each order. But it's still a very good place for the food.
