19/04/2026: A great place to stop if you're passing through Capendu. The welcome was professional, and we were seated on a lovely shaded terrace. The €27 set menu for a starter, main course, and dessert is reasonable, especially considering it was a Sunday. The quality is excellent, and the service is prompt and efficient. We had a great time. Worth discovering.

15/04/2026: Wow, wow, wow! I went for the Tasting Menu + Wine Pairing and I was beyond satisfied. Elly received me with a warm and kind welcome to my table and along with Kim and Louise, they provided me with the dishes and explanations in detail on what they were composed of and how the chefs recommended eating them (method). Mathias, the restaurant's star Sommalier shared with me all details on the wines and well, he did an splendid job in selecting the wine pairings for the dishes. Simply outstanding. Big smiles, candind interactions and efficient, swift service. I am coming back to Paris for the sake of experiencing their restaurant! That good it was. It's a shame I did not get to say thanks to any of the guys at the kitchen, but here it is - Thank You! 12/04/2026: A gastronomic establishment offering refined and inventive cuisine of consistently high quality. The welcome was a little too familiar; the unfiltered owner made some inappropriate remarks (and surprisingly addressed our friend informally, whom he didn't know...). Also, and somewhat less importantly, the restaurant could use a serious paint job, as it clearly hadn't been repainted in ages! Located in the middle of the countryside, this unlikely spot represents a bold gamble to attract customers seeking the kind of cuisine that absolutely won us over; therefore, the aforementioned drawbacks won't deter us from returning. An address to discover, absolutely!

A truly wonderful place where everything comes together for a fantastic experience. A must-try… and a place to revisit without hesitation!

08/04/2026: We came here spontaneously and were initially skeptical, as the "restaurant on the square" is usually a tourist trap. But we were pleasantly surprised. Great service, very good food (salad and pork knuckle), and a truly fantastic atmosphere. We loved it ❤️

Local cuisine, delicious dishes, a smiling, welcoming staff who, importantly, take excellent care of their customers! I go back every time I'm in Strasbourg and I'm never disappointed.
