09/12/2025: Hello, I attended a Korean cooking class a week ago. I must admit I was disappointed. In this class, we were supposed to cook wonton broth. However, I (and all the other students) only chopped vegetables and "learned" how to fold wontons. The cooking was done by the instructor. As a result, I didn't learn how to manage the most interesting part: cooking the filling and the broth. Also, we used Tang Frères wonton wrappers; we didn't make the wrappers ourselves. Finally, at the end of the class, we were given the recipe, which I've attached. It wasn't very precise, and some ingredients were missing. The positive points: The instructor was friendly. The included meal was good. Conclusion: I think €99 to chop vegetables and fold wontons, plus eat at their restaurant, is very expensive. YouTube is just as good a teacher. And you might as well go straight to a restaurant for 35 euros and skip the class.

25/01/2026: Charming place and very friendly staff, but the meal didn't live up to our expectations. It was nothing like what we've enjoyed several times in Brittany... Here, the savory buckwheat crepes were too thick, the mushrooms were canned, and the industrial tomato sauce was watery... Meh... The sweet crepe wasn't great either... A fairground crepe, not worthy of a good creperie... What a shame...

01/11/2025: We came as a group of seven on a Saturday evening. The service was quick despite the restaurant being full. The food was of very good quality; we were pleasantly surprised. All this for a more than reasonable price. The manager took over the restaurant in February, and it's often fully booked. I highly recommend this place!

06/07/2025: Chez Ginette is a picturesque cafe located on the corner of Montmartre towards the Sacré-Coeur. I stopped by during a stroll, and the avocado toast here was unforgettably delicious! I sat at a small round table on the terrace, typical of Paris, and ordered avocado toast. What was brought to me was a beautiful dish of toasted bread topped with plenty of bright green avocado. The balance of creamy and fresh avocado, slightly sour dressing, and crispy bread was exquisite! The simple dish allowed the quality of the ingredients and careful workmanship to shine. I enjoyed the avocado toast with delicious coffee while watching the people passing by and the typical Montmartre buildings. It was a rich and fulfilling time, as if I had blended into everyday Paris. The warm atmosphere, which seems to be loved not only by tourists but also by locals, was very comfortable. If you're looking for a delicious brunch or light lunch in Montmartre, Chez Ginette is one of your best options.
