23/08/2024: Nous avons déjeuné deux fois dans ce restaurant cette semaine, un repas à la carte et l’autre menu du jour. La cuisine est excellente, belle présentation. Le personnel est accueillant et le service est rapide. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

09/09/2024: We stayed 3 nights at the Hôtel du Bois Joli and everything was perfect, a beautiful and large renovated room with a view of the valley, delicious breakfasts and dinners with seasonal and local products. A warm, family atmosphere, we will come back and we highly recommend it.

08/09/2024: 2nd time we came to Bois Jolie (1st time in January with snow), this time in summer and we were not disappointed! Warm and pleasant welcome, the rooms have been renovated, it's very successful! We were able to try the outdoor swimming pool which is very nice. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant (2nd time too), and it was excellent, faultless, both in terms of taste and dishes offered. Breakfast is always good and enjoyable. It’s definitely a good little address to remember if you’re in the area! ---------------------------------------------- Great experience at Bois Joli! Welcome and attentive service. The room is very pleasant, cozy, well renovated and offers a view of the mountains. 10 minutes by car from Thollon-les-memises and with hiking trails around. The restaurant is great, the dishes are sublime; the combination of the different products is perfect, we had a great time!

08/09/2024: Passing through the Falaise sector as part of a memorial tour centered on the Falaise-Chambois pocket, we were delighted to have lunch in this restaurant. Very good cuisine, a smiling and very attentive waiter, menus with excellent value for money. For fans of the history of the Second World War who are traveling the paths of the German retreat, we advise you to make a stop at the garden!

05/09/2024: A little gem in the heart of Falaise. Elegant and warm setting, very pleasant boss, excellent meal: refined dishes and desserts. The Maître d’Hotel entrecôte served with homemade fries, a delight!

09/09/2024: Typical French mountain auberge restaurant. We had a cheese fondue with ham and salad and it was great. Very good quality food. The rest of menu looked great with local products (you could see the other customers plates looking very nice). Service was perfect and staff very friendly. Well worth the visit.

17/08/2024: Bravo. Quel plaisir de trouver un tel endroit. Le service est souriant, le cadre chaleureux et dans l assiette on sent la passion du chef et de son équipe. Les produits sont bons, les recettes recherchées, plein de petits détails font la différence. Nous y sommes venus 2 fois en une semaine. Ici les gens ont à cœur de faire plaisir.

27/10/2024: Very friendly welcome even though we lost our reservation… well done for the cuisine! Small downsides: waiter in a hurry to finish from starter to dessert and it shows too much! Poorly adjusted coffee machine, so mediocre coffee and wine in a stale glass, too bad! We will go back for the kitchen, an establishment that needs to be refreshed in terms of the front…

08/09/2024: Excellent cuisine. We had a burger and a queen pizza. The meat was quality and the cheese was truly extraordinary. The service is very friendly.

07/09/2024: Great discovery this evening... In Plagne 1800. The upstairs restaurant is very welcoming, in a 100% Savoyard decor. The service is very fast, the dishes are very generous and very good. We will come back to it!

08/09/2024: An incredible restaurant, far from the classic codes of French gastronomy. The staff made us feel very comfortable. We play with the sommelier to guess the origin of the wines offered with the dishes. And the chef is accessible to listen to what we liked the most. A well-deserved star.

13/12/2024: Moment shared with my 16 year old daughter. We arrived at 12:30 p.m., we had the impression of taking the cook and the waitress off the table… (sorry) service a little cold at first but everything was sorted in the middle of meal. Beautiful presentation of the products on the plate. The hake is excellent and the venison stew is killer...very good cuisine..on the wallet side a little high just for a dish, a glass of wine and a glass of Armagnac
