24/05/2026: A delightful surprise recommended by a guest. The staff were incredibly attentive, the dining room had a cozy atmosphere where you felt completely at ease, and the value for money was excellent, with quick service if needed. The small terrace is a bonus; be sure to book in advance.

07/05/2026: Fantastic experience at Paradox Café for a spontaneous dinner with friends on April 30th! We arrived very late, the kitchen must have been closed, but the manager still welcomed us. The meal was delicious and served quickly.

08/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. We were able to have lunch on their terrace. Be sure to book in advance if you want to be seated there. The staff is very attentive, from the young woman serving us to the gentleman behind the bar who gives a very warm welcome. The meal was excellent, with delicious dishes. We've included photos. 09/06/2026: The preset menu is wonderful and a steal at 44 Euros. They staff are very friendly and can easily modify dishes to accommodate food allergies. My wife could not have the risotto due to a gluten intolerance and, rather that simply leaving off the risotto, they remade the dish with a rice noodle. You must make a reservation a few days before. We tried to walk in a few days after our reservation and they were booked for the entire evening.

Everyone who had lunch or dinner was extremely satisfied. Her recommendations for service, portion sizes, and meal quality were perfect. We recommend her without hesitation.

18/05/2026: It wasn't great. The fish terrine was bland and the hamburger too greasy. The fries were okay. The portion was generous. Well, it's not very expensive, so the value for money is average.

29/05/2026: Everything was perfect! Apparently open for 10 years, this was our first time there. But what a find! Impeccable table service, the head waiter was helpful and very kind, the dishes were all delicious, the setting is lovely—what more could you ask for! A wonderful romantic evening!

06/06/2026: We ate there a while ago and I was looking forward to going back, but I was a little disappointed. The tuna tataki with pea cream as a starter was completely tasteless. The pan-fried cuttlefish and shrimp with black spaghetti was good.

27/05/2026: Unfortunately, we can't comment on the food, as we only had a few beers there. The service was friendly, at least from the male waiters; the young waitress still has some learning to do, but I'm sure she'll get there.

17/05/2026: Excellent service and very fresh food. I arrived late at night in late March with a Mistral infused town and not many places open. Le Vieux Cafe (brasserie and bar) was humming with life, full of locals, families, expats, young and old for dinner, conviviality and really good food. I had the trout, and enjoyed the experience so much, I returned the next night. I sat next to a couple who ordered the steak dinner, which looked and smelled amazing, and on the other side a table of 10 locals ritually gathering for dinner, and on the other side, two tables full of children and families at ease in this local institution. By 7:30, there was a line out the door of French residents, clearly a favorite.

20/05/2026: Absolutely top-notch! The food was delicious, we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Nothing to complain about except the quality of the dishes, which was truly excellent, and the atmosphere, reminiscent of a traditional Flemish pub. We'll be back! Special mention for the kindness of Dimitri, the chef, and Florian, the owner – fantastic! 👍🏻👍🏻

18/05/2026: Thank you for this very pleasant time. The terrace is lovely, the setting is superb, the food is very good, and the staff are very friendly.

13/06/2026: A friendly welcome and we were shown to our table. There are only a few tables with a view. Since only three tables were occupied, we got the full force of the service, which didn't change even when it got a bit busier. The tables, which were far too small, were already set, but the server clearly lacked training. The aperitif was placed to the left of each place setting. Now, quickly, we had to take our order. Not another wine? You just brought us the aperitif; we'll decide later. The wine glasses were immediately taken away. After a few minutes, the appetizer arrived, which we ate with our aperitif. I still had the last piece of bread in my hand and was still chewing when the plates were cleared away. Now, quickly, we had to order the wine. And then the main courses arrived. The plates were extremely hot, and we were told to wait. I immediately understood why. My meat was only lukewarm, the vegetables even colder. The sauce, however, had a skin on it. Clearly, the food had been kept warm. That explains the server's haste. ``` The quality of the food was good, as far as one could judge under the circumstances. We finished with dessert in an hour. The bill was already on the sideboard with the dessert. The credit card charge is to Emeraude. That's a shame.

05/06/2026: We discovered a warm, cozy, and peaceful restaurant, a welcome change from the hustle and bustle sometimes found elsewhere. From the moment we arrived, the welcome was exceptionally pleasant and attentive. The hostess professionally recommended several dishes, which convinced us to stay for dinner. We certainly didn't regret it. Everything was perfect: the quality of the food, the presentation, the service, and the attention to detail. The staff truly went above and beyond throughout the meal, in a relaxed and elegant atmosphere. A wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend. We will be back very soon!
