18/07/2026: A truly excellent meal at Jean Marc's (new name)! Fresh, homemade products! A real treat! And very reasonably priced too. A friendly, quiet atmosphere away from the crowds. Thank you also for your kindness and attentiveness.

30/06/2026: Our third visit over three holidays to ile de re and is a must for us, as it has been the best meal we have had on each trip. Only a short walk from the campsite, so don't miss out on this hidden gem. Quite a small menu with well-cooked home food served with a smile. Check out the opening times, before visiting.

03/10/2026: Top-notch restaurant. We went as a group of 10, then as a couple. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the flavor was spot on. A couple of minor complaints about the dessert on the €19.95 set menu: it was good but very light (3 small sweet bites), and the side dish with the ham hock was also a bit light (just potatoes). A little salad or something else would have been a nice addition. But honestly, it was very good. Impeccable service. A wonderful atmosphere in a stunning setting. We will definitely return. 10/09/2026: During our road trip in the area, we randomly stopped at this brasserie. The welcome and service were top-notch. And what can I say about the food?! Absolutely delicious! From the charcuterie platter to the gourmet coffee, including the ribeye steak and my Ardèche burger! Everything was high quality! An address to remember without hesitation.

27/07/2026: We had an absolutely exceptional culinary experience (July 19, 2026). Each dish was a true journey, with unique, perfectly balanced, and exquisitely refined flavors. The quality of the ingredients, as well as the expertise and passion of Chef René (who runs the kitchen single-handedly), were immediately apparent. Jessica's welcome was warm, the service attentive, and the ambiance refined, making the experience even more enjoyable. Without hesitation, this is the best restaurant we have discovered to date. Umami is a must-visit, one we wholeheartedly recommend and where we will return with the greatest pleasure. Bravo and thank you to Jessica and René for this magnificent experience.
