13/07/2026: A very pleasant café for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or afternoon tea. The menu is varied and trendy. The atmosphere is young and dynamic. Less than a 10-minute walk from the train station, it's worth it if you have a one-hour layover, for example.

08/07/2026: Brunch was fine, full of color and variety, and the decor was very Instagrammable. But the portions and quality certainly didn't justify the prices. The small slices of avocado weren't ripe, and the portion of cheese was so small I thought it was a sauce.

11/08/2026: A complete disaster for us. Everything had started off so well: an online reservation for lunch in August for a table of seven, including three children. It seemed like a really good option given the large number of tourists at the Lorient airbase, with an air-conditioned dining room, a warm welcome, and an enticing menu. But there must have been some organizational or kitchen issue; we still hadn't received our food after a 1 hour and 15 minute wait—a real struggle for the children. It was incomprehensible. After following up, we were told there was a software problem in the kitchen, but the staff should have noticed the glitch when our plates weren't served. It's a real shame because the food was actually quite good. It's hard to have a positive impression of the meal, even though we were offered a bottle of rosé as compensation.

22/04/2026: We celebrated my 40th birthday at this restaurant with a lunch for 23 people (adults and children), and everything was absolutely perfect. The dining room was reserved for our exclusive use, which created a truly intimate and convivial atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for. The setting, with its exposed stone walls, is both warm and soothing—ideal for sharing a moment with family and friends. The service was outstanding: seamless, attentive, and never intrusive. The staff adapted perfectly to the pace of the meal, especially during speeches, with great tact and discretion. Beforehand, the organization was very simple and pleasant. The chef listened carefully to our preferences, guiding us expertly to create a menu that suited everyone, playing it safe while adding a truly personalized touch. The result was outstanding: beautifully presented, balanced, and flavorful dishes with perfectly portioned meals—we left feeling satisfied without being overly full, which is rare and much appreciated. All this at an excellent price. A big thank you also for your attention to detail: adapting the table layout for children and your kindness towards our daughter with a disability, respecting her specific needs with great sensitivity. All our guests were delighted, and we will cherish the wonderful memories of this experience. We recommend this restaurant without hesitation, both for the quality of its cuisine and for the warm welcome and professionalism of the entire team.

26/03/2026: What a wonderful evening we had at David Toutain's! This restaurant has a unique quality, offering a truly singular experience. The cuisine is incredible, a veritable gastronomic laboratory. Everything was delicious. The chef has the ability to make you love things you usually hate…like Brussels specialties, for example. Yes, it was an incredible experience, and I'm so glad I had it. The front-of-house staff is also very friendly. In short, all my compliments!

14/07/2026: A truly wonderful experience at La Cave aux Fouées in Amboise! ​​The troglodyte setting is magnificent, authentic, and full of charm. The set menu is generous, delicious, and allows you to discover local specialties in a convivial atmosphere. The price of the menu, as well as the wine, is quite reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients, the generous portions, and the exceptional setting. The staff is welcoming, smiling, and very friendly. A place I highly recommend!

The dishes are beautiful, delicious, and original. And, unusually, the desserts are in the same spirit. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

23/07/2026: It's always a pleasure to come to Rive Gauche. We're never disappointed by the food, whether it's from the menu or the daily specials. The cooking is perfect (special mention for the fish), and the sides and seasonings are delicious. The service is incredibly efficient, friendly, and always smiling. We've been coming here often for years, and it remains one of our favorite spots in the 6th arrondissement.

18/07/2026: A menu with something for almost everyone. Generous salads, the mother's casserole was truly excellent, and the daily special (chicken rillettes for me) offered great value for money. The ice cream selection was superb. I didn't try the madeleines for dessert, but I'll have to next time, as their savory madeleines were delicious. And to top it all off, the service was top-notch. In short: a very good place to eat.
