29/04/2026: Based on reviews, we made a b-line for for Freddy on a Thursday evening and managed to get two seats at the counter (being a boring American who eats at 6:30 pm has its advantages). The place was buzzing, but the staff was attentive and we were served promptly. The tapas plates come out piping hot (the kitchen is just steps away from the counter) and the food left us swooning. Note that the front sign bearing the "Freddy" name is subtle and a little hidden, so home in with your GPS or you'll overlook the place.

28/04/2026: Excellent food. Freddy's didn't disappoint with their vegetable & fish dishes. Looking forward to coming back to try their full menu.

18/04/2026: Greetings from the Pas-de-Calais region (department 62), following a reservation for 18 people for my son's civil partnership celebration. We had a wonderful time with lovely servers! The main course, meal, and dessert were all excellent. I highly recommend it!! (Thank you for the after-dinner drink!)

18/04/2026: We came to lunch today with a friend at this restaurant with our three children (a 6-year-old girl and 18-month-old twins) and we were extremely poorly received by the waiters, who were haughty and disdainful towards us. They made comments because our children, who are under 2, weren't ordering the children's menu (a menu that was completely unbalanced, full of fatty foods and sweets). We were very embarrassed and didn't even want to order dessert. I think we were courteous and friendly; our children are polite and well-behaved, and if it had been men with their children, the misogynistic waiters wouldn't have dared make a single remark.

06/05/2026: Summary: This is a trap, do not go here. The waiter only asked our table directly for a tip when paying with card, they did not do the same for the table next to us, they likely target Americans. I brought my family here for a meal after remembering a great meal I had here about 8 years ago. Back then, it was lovely restaurant, reasonably priced for a pre-fixe menu of around 40ish euros a person, with good French food and views of the Eiffel Tower (recommended by the Barefoot Contessa to boot). Now, this was a disappointing dinner. Very decidedly average food—I think they’ve since changed owners/chefs—with the same green spring mix of lettuce applied to every dish oddly, much more expensive now. You can have this food at any other mildly upscale place in Paris. Service was slow, poor in general. We are on the last leg of a trip, and we agreed this was the bottom of what we ate for the price—around 270 euros for 4 people. Add the tip thing, and it left a sour taste in our mouth. Would really not recommend anymore.

15/04/2026: Excellent experience at this beer shop! We rented a draft beer machine and a keg of beer: everything was perfectly suited to our event, with very high-quality beer and the ideal quantity for the number of guests. We also rented two boxes of wine (red and white), which turned out to be very good and paired perfectly with the food. Professional service, helpful advice, and top-notch equipment—I highly recommend it!
